This thing shreds like a beast. It does exactly what it claims to do. And I really couldn't beat the price, definitely recommend.

This shredder works fine for a home office and personal use. The pull-out bin is helpful. I was able to shred credit cards and multiple pages with no problem. The negatives - it is loud and will over heat after a few minutes.

Only posted 3 stars because I just started using this shredder. These are some of my early observations. (1) Although the shredding seems to work good, unit is very noisy, (2) plastic body is very thin and my concern is it may crack easily, time will tell (3) must be european made as to turn the unit on, you push the lever to the right instead of to the left, (4) instructions talk about lubricant sheets but there is no information on how to purchase these. My old unit which lasted about 10 years and did not need lubrication.

This is third shredder I've owned and so far has been the best one of them all. Says it can handle 14 sheets at a time but have found 10-12 sheets works much better. Just wish it could go a little longer without over heating.

The Sentinel 14-sheet shredder is so fast and efficient...I paid much more for my last shredder that wasn’t near as good as the Sentinel 14-sheet shredder, this one actually does shred 14 sheets at once. The feature I prize for its convenience is the shredder basket that easily lifts out for emptying....no more taking off the shredder lid to empty. I definitely recommend this shredder.

I researched a lot before I purchased this item. It is small, but fits perfectly where I have it. It also shreds the paper quickly. It is loud. I would recommend this paper shredder.

I am using this shredder on some old papers that I don't need any more. I only use it a few times a month and I don't over work it, so it seems to perform like it's supposed to. It probably wouldn't be powerful enough if you used it every day or if you had a lot of items to shred. Also, the basket slides out to empty it, so you don't have to lift the cutting head off each time.

I really like my new shredder because you can actually put more than 4 papers at a time. Great purchased! The only down size is that after 15 minutes of using it , I actually had to turn it off since it overheated .

I’ve had this product for like a month. Shred papers well. If papers are thick, I would advise only using 5 sheets at a time. Downside to the shredder is the width where you feed the paper through. It’s a pretty tight fit for regular 8.5” width papers. Gotta make sure papers are neat/aligned before putting it through the feed. I didn’t really account for that when I bought it. Seems like it should’ve been an obvious thing to note. Don’t regret the purchase. Hopefully this will last me a long time.

Simple to use I am glad the other brand functioned improperly. It gave me a chance to try this product. This one was better quality and the weight was lighter

Strong motor on this Sentinel - 14-Sheet Crosscut Paper Shredder - Black. Cuts right through multiple pages pretty quickly. Has a nice door on the outside of the shredder so you don't have to take the top off to empty it. I've had it for about a month and I have shredded 2 months worth of documents. I did let it rest a few times just to be safe, but it never timed out on its own. Overall, I am quite happy with it.

I have had the machine now for over a month and it works flawlessly taking 10 sheets of paper without a problem. It is relatively quiet and is easy to clear out with the bin removable from the front without having to remove the shredder itself.

It is a great little shedder. Needs to be used for small jobs as it does over heat. But does a great job.

I had accumulated months of documents that needed shredded. The shredder did overheat after about 15 minutes of shredding. I think if you just shred a few things at a time and don’t overdo it, the product will be just fine. After letting it set for about 30 minutes, the shredder was working again. Very easy to use.

This shredder works pretty good. The main challenge is it gets clogged on the right side and needs to be put in reverse to clear it. But otherwise works fine.

Wish that it had wheels and a more secure bin so that it could be easily moved around. I little more height and shred bin space also would have been better for the price. So far, it has worked as expected

I don't do a lot of shredding. It is for home use. Works well. No problems so far.

This is a nice compact shredder. Perfect for use in a home office. I would recommend this to anyone who doesnt need a heavy duty shedder.

Out of all shredder’s I owned this one has been the best

It's good for home use for small jobs. It's good for the price. It's not great for large shredding jobs because it will heat up fairly quickly and shut itself down. Let it sit and it will start again.
