Garbage, destined for the landfill

Used maybe 6-8 times over 5 mths, broke would not accept paper, Company, (keep your receipts! & booklet!) agreed to replace, but I have to pay to ship product back to them. Buy something more, or less expensive. I've had personal use shredders that lasted yrs that I paid $20 for. This was $100 on sale! Do not recommend

Poor performance, jammed

On the first day is use, it jammed three times using only ten sheets of paper. The third time I was unable to get it cleared. This shredder is rated for 15 sheets but it could not even handle ten sheets without jamming and is almost impossible to get clear.

Disappointed

However, it stopped shredding after about one week of light use. Maybe emptied the canister a total of three times and the blades locked up. Shred is stacking up, while I try to figure out the return/exchange process.

power cord started to burn
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On first use, after 10 minutes of shredding (and it will not do 15 sheets) the power cord inside the device started to smoke and burn. I unplugged immediately and thought this isn't good to have it burning inside where the paper is and could catch fire. Could smell the electrical burning before it started to smoke. It never turned itself off with the "overheating" light coming on. Am returning.
