Bought this chair because we needed a new one and so comfortable!!!

I've needed a new office chair and heard great things about the Serta line. While you need a bit of upper body strength to get all the bolts tightened, the setup was extremely easy and had great instructions, plus all tools included. Box is about 40-45lbs at delivery. The chair itself is comfortable, works great, and is holding up well.

Thought I was going to have to sacrifice a goat to set it up, but once it was done its everything I was looking for and is extremely comfortable. This chair (specifically the base) even looks better than expected.

I bouth this chair and I have been left bitterly disappointed a year later and I am now looking around for another chair. I work from home so I this chair got a lot of usage quickly , but I am only about 190 lbs (6'4) and I would have expected the cushion to have stood up longer, additionally the chair is leaned and I believe has caused some back problems I have had within the year. Bottom line, if you are looking around ,, pass on from this and keep looking :) .

I purchased chair with reward points and had chair delivered. Once I started assembling I found out threads were stripped on the seat so I could not attach one of the arm rests. I saw a green letter in box that said "If you encounter any issues or have any questions do not return this item to the store or website you purchased it from. Please contact our customer service department...it's True...fast, friendly Customer service. At True innovations, we are committed to excellence. Our Primary objective is to provide fast, friendly customer service to all our customers. We are here to help if you have any questions, comments or are in need of warranty replacement parts. I sent an online request explaining issue. I did not have or get a receipt, but did forward my email confirmation showing that I ordered the chair and that it was being delivered. They told be that that it was not purchased from an authorized dealer so if I wanted the part I would have to pay for it. Bottom line is that I got a brand new chair made by this company, it was damaged to the point that I can't assemble it, and now they want me to pay for a replacement part. I have no idea if the chair is comfortable because I can't sit in it. The fact that they want to charge me for replacement is why I would never buy anything made by this company again.

The pre-drilled holes in the underside of the chair, as a whole. Are not aligned correctly. With the metal bracket attached to the wheels. The mis-alignment doesn't create a major problem. Just that the screws cannot be completely tightened. I can live w/o the tilt. That is far better than. When I originally attached the metal bracket, to the chair, backwards. I was almost falling out of the chair. Until I realized my mistake. The high back of the chair is supercalifragilistexpialidocious!!!!!

Bought this January of 2014 and it has been a huge disappointment. The first issue I had was a piece inside of the leather upholstery came unscrewed so I had to cut open the chair to repair it. And today the right arm literally cracked in half, making the chair virtually useless since it supports the back of the chair. Poor build quality. Avoid unless you have 100$ blow on a poorly made chair that will break within a year.

I'm so unhappy with this chair, I'm returning it. I'ts very uncomfortable on top of everything it's bad for people with back pain. The cushion is not adjustable and it's pushing you forward so hard so you have to push it back with your legs all the time in order to keep it in the right angle. And the area where you put your arm is kind of built very close to your body so basically you can't put your arms there and reach a mouse or a keyboard on a office table. I think the design is very stupid.

This chair is not so comfortable. It looks good but I am getting body pains using this.

Looks great in the pictures and it was on sale and saved money. I can see why. The chair is very uncomfortable and not worth the price, even the sale price.

Product states manufactured by SERTA but must be made by them for trueinnovations. Bolt locations on seat cushion not aligned properly so arms and back cushion are out of alignment. I purchased based on SERTA name to hopefully avoid these types of problems on non-brand name items. Returned to store for full reimbursement.

I looked at the reviews and bought the chair thinking it would be good. After weeks of having this chair, I have not been comfortable at all. I need a pillow on my back because this chair definitely does not support your back at all. The arms are too high, and the seat cushion is uncomfortable. I would not recommend this; but if you do decide to buy it, definitely try it out first at Best Buy.
