This mattress is THE mattress for those looking for firm support. Coming from a person with multiple bone related maladies, including deregulated body temperature issues, this mattress has not only supported my bone issues but has kept me cooler than usual during my sleep. I’ve slept really well while using it and haven’t had any heat related issues at night as I usually do. What I also love about this mattress is it’s stability. My laptop remains sturdier in this bed. Getting in and out of bed is quiet; there isn’t a lot of movement of the mattress while you turn to another position. The mattress comes with a thick zippered cover already on it. Opening the mattress was easy; a useful tool for removing the thick plastic was very helpful so the mattress wouldn’t get torn/cut/ripped. I highly recommend using the tool included so you maintain the integrity of the mattress. The mattress comes rolled up tight in plastic and a brown paper as well. I appreciate the thickness of the mattress and it suits our needs perfectly well. The mattress seems to be well made. I highly recommend it to someone needing a firm mattress.

My wife and I have become spoiled over the last 8 years with a different brand of memory foam mattress, but to buy another of said brand was to expensive this time around. Enter the Serta 7" 'For Ewe' memory foam mattress! Exceptionally affordable, and an awesome option! For lack of a better term, it's like sleeping on a cloud! Either one of us can get up as many times a night as we need or turn over, neither of us feels the mattress moving - no bounce, no creaking. Something we both noticed - when you lay, if you lay still for a few seconds, you'll feel like you've sunk in an inch or two. Because of this, you're less prone to move around in your sleep. Upon receipt we unboxed the mattress and put it into the guest room to let it expand. For packaging it's shrink-wrapped exceptionally tight and is compressed down to roughly 2-3 inches, then rolled to fit into the box. We let it sit for 48 hours to completely expand (even though the included documentation explicitly says you don't have to), then moved it into place on our regular bed. Immediately the comfort and joy of being in bed returned - the worn out mattress was gone and new one in it's new home - we're impressed! Great option for an inexpensive memory foam mattress - curious to see how long it lasts long-term, but at this point it's done it's job and done it well!

So, if you are looking for a good mattress for a younger family member... or maybe an update to the guest room. or just tired of the larger mattresses, then this is a quality option. First and foremost, it is simply crazy that they can delivery a full-size matress in the box that size. Second, this is a two person job. While it can be done by one person, highly recommend two people as it is just cumbersome, and you can easily knock something over, or get hurt. No need to be a hero. Since this mattress doesn't have any of the traditional supports, springs, etc... it is very flexible, and will easily be able to get around just about any corner, stair way, etc. Also... best if moved by two people, for the same reason, because it does flex, and shift and move. Now for the important pieces, sleep.. It is firmer then the previous mattress it replaced, and also software at the same time. Let me explain. It is denser so it didn't "give" as much, but also was a lot softer to the feel and comfort, then the previous spring based mattress tha twas there. It took a few nights for the body to get used to the difference, and to this point... all good. Sleeping soundly and comfortably. So for the price point, and the options, and for what it is... very good product. The knock on the one star, is related to the challenges to move it around and get it to where it needed to be. That needs to be planned out a bit

This is the way to go for new mattresses. It comes delivered to your door in a box and is easy to setup. It is packaged very small and all you do is cut it open on your bed and will be ready in short time. Slight smell but not bad and will go away in a few days. It has a foam core with a cooling layer on top. It is cool when sleeping. It provides me the support that I need so I am not in pain when I wake up. I love this mattress.

After sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks, I can say it is a wonderful mattress topper for my side of a split king bed. At 7 inches thick, it is a little too thin to use without a foundation but works great on top of my 22 inch mattress. Perhaps a thicker version would suffice sans foundation. This moderately firm mattress is just right for me but my spouse found it to be a bit too firm. It comes with it's own mattress cover out of the box, so I only had to cover it with a spare fitted twin sheet. I opened the box after mid day and the mattress was fully expanded for use by bedtime. It is difficult to believe so much mattress can come out of such a small box.
