Not ready to give a higher rating as I’m not fully up and running on my new computer. The data transfer by Geek Squad was done fine but somehow now my iphone contacts are in triplicate. And there are other small details that I don’t understand. I am not tech savvy which is frustrating. The techs at Geek Squad seemed distracted by probably being short handed and too busy. But I will make another appt to try and get these issues resolved and hope for the best.

The guys at the geek squad did a fantastic job. They were polite, professional, and very efficient at what they did. They showed me how to use the computer for my needs.

The Geek squad at Best Buy is amazing! They helped setup a laptop I purchased for my mother-in-law. She’s not “tech savvy” and they took the time to set everything up and explain things in a way that was easy for her to understand.

Agents did a wonderful job of installation. My laptop was ready before expected.

Jay did a great job. He had to start all over again as that room was not connected having a TV in the room. He had to work in my Attic and just rewire things. I forever grateful for his kindness and giving me a TV in my room. I am not doing this for your contest as I didn't get to say all of this from the beginning-- when asked and was upset at myself for putting it off. Thanks Jay--you worked really hard to put things together for me.

Purchased new Mac Book Pro with objective of converting data from old MacBook and Dell desktop including migration to new Quicken and Microsoft Office. I provided detailed guidance of requirements. I was contacted that the transfer work was completed, that the initial tech would be absence when I picked the units up but that the staff would complete the final data conversion of financial data in my presence and walk me through everything. When I picked thing up this 2nd tech was totally unhelpful. After a 1/2 hour he concluded that I would have to return days later because he couldn't understand what had been done and couldn't find the transfer files. Upon return, it became evident that that none of the new applications had been loaded and the data transfer not completed. After 2 more hours at the store things got resolved .....I think! The only reason for the 3 star rating was because the initial tech spent the time, while I was sat the store, to rectify the applications and data.

Geek Squad crew worked quickly and efficiently to transfer files from my old computer to my external hard drive and my new laptop. It took less time than they originally thought Very knowledgeable staff

Bought a All-In_One; GeekSquad installed software purchased with new system. Picked up the system and they assisted with initial sign up of programs etc ... I now understand why they have "appointment times" ... allows for the individualized attention. Thanks!
