I went in because my kids changed the password on my tablet and didn't tell me. They did an excellent job resetting my tablet and helping me with a new password.

Squad just did a super job of setting up the new computer and explaining it to me. If I didn't understand something, he was very patient and explain again.

The Geek Squad did a fine job of set up but transferred only the files from my old computer. I need some of my very old programs. I continue to look for an IT person to do what I expected the geek squad to do. They also. made a big ado because I walked in without an appointment.

He was definitely worth the transfer fee and the installation of the Microsoft office set up relieved me of frustration and I got it done first time and done right

When I purchased the unit for a Christmas present the agent told me that they would transfer the pictures, videos etc from the old one to the new one for $40. When we went back to have to have this done they charged us $140. I think that this wasn’t right.

I took the lazy way out and had Geek squad set up my new computer, backing up from the old. They even finished earlier than estimated ! Love the Geeks!!

I bought a program that supposedly was going to let me download CDs etc. and it didn’t really work. I took my computer back to Best Buy and asked them to show me how to do this without the program using media player and he explained all the details set up my computer perfectly to do this. This was not copied music CDs this was copying Personal interviews etc. from many years ago that I did during my work. It was the first time in years that I was able to transfer the material into my computer easily. The technician was patient and superb
