Trying to be great, but too small and was unable to customize buttons to work with my system. I decided to exchange it for a harmony companion.

Easy to set up but the screen is a little small. I've had harmony products in the past and they work great but take a lot more time to set up.

It had some odd glitches that screwed with my tv. It could be across the room and then Hulu would exit out to the home screen. The directional pad was hard to use too, maybe over time you can learn to use it without direct eye contact. But since it was a touchscreen, you had to be looking directly at it to know if you were hitting up or select, so browsing through media was difficult. I'm surprised it doesn't have any kind of voice function too. Maybe I will pick it up again next year, but for now it's not worth it.

This is the second Smart Remote I purchased. After downloading updates and disconnecting two of my three Rokus, I got it to work correctly. Battery life is too short.

It works, but lack of tactile buttons is a serious downside. Always have to look at the remote to see what button you are pressing. Frequently activating wrong function due to small screen and small buttons. It's missing many needed customization features which may or may not come in a later update. Lacks proper support for a TCL Roku TV. Have to manually add IR power button to turn on a Roku TV.

These are nice little remotes. They are quite a bit more simplistic than the harmony line, that's good if your looking for a quick set up, but lacks the advance macro features. Overall a good remote

Not for me. The set up and hardware for this remote is great and very user-friendly. The only struggle I had was when trying to control my Apple TV. It is advertised to be able to do so but the menu/back function never worked, which was annoying. It also seem like future updates to the product have been promised but never released.

Very sensitive to the touch. I like the fact that all my units are combined in one remote. Remote could be a little bigger. Very wobbly on the charging unit. Im not sure what the more expensive unit does over the model I purchased. I have a delay in going from the firestick to my regular tv, but got use to it. Nevertheless, it does what its supposed to do. Still expensive for a remote. I only got a deal because the store made an error in my purchase.

Setting up the device was easy but tedious. It’s annoying to use because you need to scroll to the device you want to use. Depending on the device you are trying to operate that may have several pages to scroll through as well to get to the needed buttons. The screen is very sensitive. The device is very small. Does not pair with all devices.

I can say that once you download the app to your smart phone and connect the remote to WIFI 2.4ghz all you have to do is enter the model of your TV or Cable box and you are done this thing is that fast and if you have smart lights or smart switches even easier there is nothing else out there better you can setup more than one TV more than one Cable box.

I usually do not leave reviews, but I felt like I had to for this remote. I’ve used mainly the harmony remotes over the years. I bought the harmony elite at the same time I bought the Sevenhugs remote. I wanted some time to use both and see how they both match up. I consistently reach for the sevenhugs. It’s so easy to set up and use compared to the harmony. The app is very useful and easy to use as well. It walks you step by step through devices to see if you have the correct one picked. I highly recommend it!!

This is basically a great universal remote that also controls the lights! (works well with Hue and my apple tv) The setup process was easy with the app on my phone, super easy to use and the remote itself looks pretty great. Would recommend to anyone interested in consolidating their remotes into one device that also has smart home capabilities.

This remote is great! The pros are good battery and nice screen. Cons: not to easy to set up and it's on the smaller size

I’ve been searching for one remote to rule them all for a few years. This product has gotten pretty darn close but the interface and operating system lag way too much. This makes using a single remote a burden as opposed to a convenience. My advice—figure out how to speed up the wake time and prevent the remote from not being able to find your devices it’s already connected to and you’ll have a killer product.

Great remote for most all smart devices. The only con is that the buttons are really small. Other than that its great.

Happy with it. Did run into an issue a few days in where it lost control of all my devices. It could’ve been my wifi, so I can’t positively blame Sevenhugs for it. Once I restarted the configuration process things worked smoothly after that. Would recommend if trying to solve controlling multiple devices with one remote. Would definitely buy again (especially when it was on sale like it was during Black Friday).

Not sure the people that had issues with this know how electronics work in general i almost didnt buy do to the reviews. I had a little issue with the update but had that fixed and the remote is great i have it running every. I would say the remote looks like it could break if dropped or mishandled so i would purchase the warranty as extra protection.

When I saw the cost for this remote I thought what a deal. The reviews said it was the next best remote, but after I got it home I found out that it was not as universal as I was led to believe. I am unable to use it to turn my lights on and off. I hope the manufacturer will be adding additional codes in the near future.
