Purchased the remote so that I could condense all my remotes into just one and so that I could control all of my smart home products from the palm of my hand with this little remote. Come to find out the remote is so outdated and the software on it is terrible. Was always disconnecting from my Wifi and when it was connected and wouldn’t work or would take FOREVER to even control something. Do not at all recommended.

I have had nothing but headaches from this remote, mainly due to the support. The concept and idea is amazing. Small remote a bit larger than the Apple TV remote that can control tv, Apple TV, sound, smart lighting. Where this breaks down is unlike the harmony remote where I can say I’m watching a movie and volume up controls surround sound, channel controls Apple TV. You have to switch to each device individually to control them. The other issues is this remote doesn’t function on YouTube tv on an Apple TV. I mean not at all. This has been an issue for the 3 months I’ve had it and as of today the company has yet to update the app or push an update to the remote to resolve. Device has become the I can’t find the other remotes, or my phone to change the tv so I guess I’ll have to use that remote. Missed the return period by a few days so now I have a 100 dollar angry conversation starter. Do yourself a favor and either configure your Apple TV remote or get a harmony

I like it very much. Battery life is great, more then a day and sometimes even two days! Easy to set up and great customer service via email! Highly recommended if you want to have one remote to control every thing in you home theater setup :)

Honestly...meh. The UI is confusing. The set up is complicated. And after a couple months of use I already have a dead pixel on the screen. Just get a remote from the harmony line...

This remote unfortunately was a dissapointment... The concept is great but the functionality needs much improvement... I ended up returning it and going with the Harmony 950.

This remote works every device I have, even my Bose sound bar. It even works my wemo lights and bulbs. Replaces all my remotes, and a rechargeable battery in it is great. Love this remote...!!!

Does it do what is advertised? Yes. However, it is more of a gimmicky feeling to it than something I use constantly. For example, the Apple TV remote screen is hard to use. Very hard. The remote shines in use with smart home devices like lighting, and curtains if one has smart curtains. But, let’s be clear, in no way is it worth $200. It would be better to buy a few hue smart switches and use the remaining $150 on something else.

I've been buying universal remotes since the early '80s and I have never been happy with any of them and I usually go back to using the remotes that came with the devices. This one looked like it was going to solve all the problems with universal remotes... Well, I t think it will, I just have to figure out how to program it. Out of the box it was easy to setup my TV, AppleTV, BluRay and Sonos. The touch screen is near the top, but there is the device picker above it so I find I am swiping and instead of affecting the menu on the TV screen I am moving between devices. Also, it takes about 30 seconds for it to "wake up" after I have used the AppleTV remote. I think ultimately I will be close to happy, but I am going to need to put in sometime on the finishing touches by programming it.

I can't say enough good things about this remote. I have officially retired my Harmony remote for good! Right out of the box, the setup took less than 10 minutes. I set up my Samsung TV, Samsung Soundbar, Apple TV, and Hue light system. The software is very intuitive and blows the Harmony software out of the water. It has a great "feel" that no other remote in my arsenal can compete with. It functions better than the Apple TV remote when hooked up via Bluetooth. The dock is also very handy to make sure the remote is charged and ready to go. I love the scenes you can create using everything including my lights! Two thumbs up, way to go Sevenhugs!

Works well, but is a little difficult to pair. Some of the instructions are confusing. Once you get used to it and figure out the pairing and setup process it works as it should. The controls are a little too sensitive and it’s easy to hit the wrong function. Overall it’s not bad.

Very intuitive display. Fun to use. Allows me to use all of my devices - including Hue. Only downside is a line formed on the screen I can't get rid of.

I am really enjoying using this little toy I am not a hight tech person when it comes to electronic.but since I bought this remote I love it Easy set up and good to go.

I’ve had my Smart Remote for a few days already. I have to say that I was pretty skeptical about it after reading all the reviews here. I’ve been looking for a great remote to replace my remotes and apps anyway for a while so decided to give it a try. I’m not the most tech savvy person and have a pretty simple setup at home: a bunch of lifx lights, some plugs, TVs and apple TV and rook. It took me a bit of time to get to understand everything and I’m sure I still have a few things to discover, but the videos they have online to show how to use the app and add everything were super helpful. So far it’s been working pretty well and it replaced all what I needed it to replace. I love the interface since it makes it really simple to use and this is what I was looking for.

This remote is awesome! I have been able to eliminate all other remotes (except for my  TV remote) since this remote effortlessly connects to devices. You can set up each remote you have and customize each one. You can leave certain buttons off and add only what you need/want. It works great with the  TV, the only issue is that if you like to use Siri on your remote, the Sevenhugs remote does not have a microphone on it in order to speak into. Overall though, I have been able to eliminate all other remotes. Also this remote is all digital and easy to see and read the display. I highly recommend this product!

Looking forward to using this device...highly recommended by the Magnolia rep at Crabtree Valley, Raleigh NC. It’s interface seems easy to understand and use. Time will be the real test.

I love the concept of this remote but if it doesn’t have your electronic Then it comes up As a default and the buttons are off , the battery does not last long .

Wanted to consolidate 5 remotes and it did the job, setup was easy, even with the older devices. Remote is extremely light and minimalist which I like and it's cheaper than a Logitech Harmony

I ended up returning this remote in getting the Logitech one instead the looks of this remote was super cool looking and very high Tech futuristic the promise you had to have line of sight to use your equipment and all my equipment is behind me so I could use it if they made an extent afford than I would have kept it

Almost perfect. My only gripe is that at this price, there should be a "replica" of the device's remote that you are using. In others words, EVERY button available on the original remote should be available on the universal's face.

Quick setup and works with pretty much everything app as a list of Devices that are compatible with Remote and some things that have a IR remotes you can also still set to remote.
