Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the final game to the rebooted trilogy created by Crystal Dynamics. Rise of the Tomb Raider, it's predecessor, was my favorite game of 2015 and Shadow, though not as good as Rise, is still a wonderful and engaging game to play through. I love the vivid environments of the jungles as well as the supernatural aspects of the Mayan apocalypse narrative. Though not finished yet I look forward to seeing how Lara Craft's journey to becoming the Tomb raider ends.

Stunning graphics, suspenseful, great storyline and side quests, simply put: AMAZING.

An amazing game for someone who likes action & adventure and a good story in a game.

If you really enjoyed the other 2 games in the series, you should enjoy this one. It is essentially a slightly upgraded version of Rise. I don't know why they keep changing Lara's look though. Storywise, it may not be the best, and Lara's character in this one can get annoying. However, gameplay wise, it is solid. As a fan of the series, I rate it higher. Would probably be a 3 or a 4 for others.

I have loved this trilogy since it first debuted and this is a great way for it to go out. Lara is finally closer to the Tomb Raider we have always known and the stakes have increased. The gunplay is snappier than the last few games but it really shines with the puzzles. The challenge tombs have actually been pretty challenging and I am looking forward to the DLC to experience a few more.

This game is very similar to the previous in the series, except it focuses more on exploration and less on combat. The jungle setting is well done, but the hub world of Paititi was a bit dull. If you enjoyed the exploration in the other games, you will probably like this one. This game has the best challenge tombs in the series. The story is decent, but sometimes disjointed. I enjoyed the game, but I think I would have liked it better if there was more combat.

I know everyone is talking about spiderman at this time and how great it is, which it is. But do not overlook this gem of a game. The graphics, sound and gameplay are top notch. Lara has never looked or controlled better. This chapter in the saga has more open world elements then ever before. It is so awesome that her legacy is living on and is showing no signs of slowing down. Buy this game.
