The game has a lot of the same gameplay as the previous entries which is good cuz those mechanics the last two good. I haven't gotten far but the game is fun and story is interesting so far.

This game has all the great gameplay of the last couple Tomb Raider games, but the graphics are crazy in 4K HDR.

The steel book edition is a beautiful addition and included in the game's base price. Shadow of the Tomb Raider graphically takes advantage of the Xbox One X power with stunning native 4K graphics and HDR. The game runs great also on performance mode. If you enjoyed the first two games in the series, you won't be disappointed with the series finale. Plus, the added costumes including retro-styled Polygon Lara are fun to try on for a bit. Fan service, indeed!

This game has excellent graphics and really shines on xbox one. This continues the Tomb raider story from the previous 2 games, if you like those games you will like this one too.

Upon the first two games, this third and final entry makes for a beautiful exploration of life and variety that Lara Croft does as a tomb raider and nobody can outmatch her style of exploration. The previous game focused too much on combat more than exploration, so this third game focuses on what makes the Tomb Raider the name it holds to heart. Some combat lovers might hate it, but open world exploratory lovers like the fanbase will love it.

Graphics are implacable on the X. Story is really good. Only reason I didn’t provide a 5 is not as much action (thus far, about 60-70% on the main mission)

So, I have to say that I beat Rise of the tomb raider just before starting Shadow of the tomb raider. This is the way I recommend playing this game, because it doesn't hold your hand the controls may get confusing for some new people. However, the graphics are amazing and the location this time around, in the jungle a la Temple of Doom, is perfect. This is a must for action/adventure/puzzle gamers.

Just started, almost at 3% on the progress bar, and recommend playing on hard for all option if you have played the previous games. I have Xbox One X with UHD and surround sound. Looks and so sounds great. Has good immersive feeling while retaining feel of game-- so far seems to carry the feeling of previous TR (gameplay is very familiar) while significantly raising the bar on environment.

Right off the back if you’re not playing this on a One X or PS4 pro then you’re not playing the best version that you were intended to play. The difference is clear. The story is nothing to spectacular but the gameplay more than makes up for any narrative shortcomings. If you’ve enjoyed any of the othe Tomb Raider games of the past few years you’ll feel right at home and enjoy this.
