I always try to get a game physically if I can, and this comes with a soundtrack, a 100 page art book, and an actual instruction manual, not to mention the game with all DLC. If you're into that stuff, this package has you covered. Otherwise, just get it digitally and save a few bucks.

This is a really fun platforming game (with pretty good music too!) but the main game itself can be a little short. Thankfully the Ultimate Edition comes with all the previous DLC for Half Genie Hero so instead of a short ~7 hour game you will probably get more than 30 hours out of it. Just a note since some people seem to be confused: This Ultimate Edition does NOT include Shantae and the Pirates Curse, that is a serprate game!

Pretty good collection of Shantae and her friends. Includes all available dlc and costumes. Took one star away because if you have save data from downloadable game, it will not transfer over to this version, forcing you to start from the beginning. Thankfully there's more than enough content to give you something else to do, it would have been nice to pick up from where I left off. Bonus artbook and cd are nice additions.

Got this on the Nintendo Switch, easy to pick up and put down during short play durations. Characters and art really brings the world to life. Great for those who grew up playing 2D platformers. The genie transformations allow for a more customizable play style.

Tight controls, colorful graphics, fun boss battles (pattern recognition) make Shantae such a great series. H-G H got the super duper edition on the Switch and it is one of the fans. Whether you play on the go or on a large TV screen, Shantae is a must own.

The Ultimate Edition extras are worth the price. The art book is very high quality with a very nice cover. This edition also includes the soundtrack CD which looks very similar to the one included in the risky beats edition and all the DLC. Highly recommended.

This ultimate edition includes all the DLC on the cart, music CD and flip artbook. This is a fun platformer with many hours of gameplay. Some metroidvania and RPG elements are quite apparent with replaying levels to unlock new secrets and access new areas with new items. This game fits perfectly for the switch as the player can run through a level or two within a few minutes and set it down. Recommended!

I was planning to get the digital version and buy the DLC, but then I saw this Ultimate edition! it is way lower than the game + DLC combine, and also you get as a bonus the nice art book and the fabulous soundtrack! You don't want to miss this edition!

Switch in handheld mode cramps my hands with many action games but 2d platformers that dont require the sticks or shoulder buttons are nice. This fits the bill perfectly and even though its an old game the graphics are decent and I had fun with it.

Shantae's latest game is also her best. Never before has she had such detailed and fluid animations. It is a sight to behold in of itself but the gameplay is equally just as solid, tight, and enjoyable for all ages and fans of the genre.

This is my first game in the series, and I cannot believe I have been missing out on these gems. This is an amazing game, and I am now looking forward to playing the other games in the series. Highly recommend this to others.

The looks, the sounds, and the amazing gameplay this game has it all. You Take control of shantae in a wonderful adventure utilizing her many abilities. Tons of fun to be had. I own the game on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Love the platformer environment in 2d. I'm impressed that this version came with cd, art book, and dlc's. Had I purchase through Nintendo, I wouldn't be getting such a great deal. Can't wait until I finish this game!

Shantae is a fun return to the classic transforming platformer from Way Forward. The various transformations keep the game fresh, and the art style is fun. If you liked Mario Odyssey, give this a shot.

Another brilliant game from way forward. This game and even its DLC are worth it. Classic plat former with fun boss battles. I consider it a must have for any collection.

For those of you who love Shantae will love this game complete with all the goodies that you may have missed out when the Risky Beats edition was previously released for ps4,x xbox one and wii u

Shantae vanilla was a really good platformer more akin to a castlevania than a metroidvania. The other DLC stuff is included this package each serving different play styles and different or rearranged stages. The main story is good enough to enjoy through with the added bonuses to make it worth playing

I've always enjoyed the Shantae series. Great gameplay, fun characters, great graphics. This translates well to Switch and you can't beat the portability factor. Would definitely recommend;

This was a fun game. I had never played any game in this series but I thought it was cute and I want my son to play games with female main characters so it becomes normal to him. He was hesitant but we played it and had tons of fun. I read the Pirate's Curse is better so I am getting that next!
