Vacuums fine but gets stuck when mopping. Do not recommend. My roomba is better.

The Shark AI Robot VacMop Pro has changed my life! I've always loved the feel of clean floors beneath my feet but life gets busy and I don't always have the time or energy to run the sweeper or mop my hard floors. Now the only energy I have to expend to have clean floors is to pick up my phone and push a couple buttons to vacuum and put the wet unit on the robot if I want the hard floors mopped. I have multiple types of floor covering in my home - vinyl, hardwood, berber and higher pile carpet - and the Shark handles them all well. The mapping process was easy and the run to detect carpet was equally easy. Stairs? No worries. The scary smart tech in the robot detects them and it won't fall down them (but it also won't clean them). If there are issues, customer support is good. I've enjoyed my clean floors so much, I bought a second unit so I don't have to continually move the robot and dock from floor to floor. While it likely won't take the place of a good vacuuming occasionally, the everyday clean it provides goes far beyond my expectations for something that requires no effort.

So far so good, Jaws does a pretty good job navigating the house, and does well with mopping when he is off the carpet.

I've had my vacmop for a little less than a month now, and it's working very well! My floors are mainly wood laminate and linoleum, with carpet in the bedrooms, and I have three cats. I wish I'd gotten one years ago - with it vacuuming every day, there's no longer a constant crunch of litter underfoot! It filled up on its first couple of runs. I'd installed the app on my phone, and it gave me an alert that the vacuum had stopped early because it was full. Man, there was a lot of cat hair trapped places (and a lot of my daughter's hair!). Now, though, it finishes each day without a problem. The self-cleaning brushroll is a little miracle -- I had to clean the brush on my Bissell upright pretty much every other time I used it, since my daughter's long hair would get wrapped around it, but I've had no such issues with the Shark. I'm using the mop function about once a week, so I've only used it a few times yet. The reservoir doesn't hold enough to mop the whole floor with as much to mop as I have, but it will alert you when it runs out, so you can take off the reservoir and refill it. The supplied fluid was only enough to fill it twice, but the manual says you can just use warm water, so that's what I'm using, and it's doing fine with that.

Worked fine for about a year, the the water reservoir started failing, they send another one and it’s started to fail again. Also I always have trouble connecting it, it’s very difficult

Ended up returning it. It would never fully map out the house right. It never detected carpet and rugs either. It could be great if they could work out the bugs, because when it did work it did pretty good. Mine kept cleaning the same room over and over and called shark tech and tried everything they said with no luck. Also the solution ran out after 2 rooms even on the low spray setting.

does a good job of cleaning. there is a learning curve to use your phone as a controller. do not use scan code to down load app as it sends you to a game app and then wants your credit card number to "verify your location". Love the home mapping AI feature.

Read reviews and talked to some people who had other robot vacuums, they had a lot of complaints for the most part about these kinds of vacuums not avoiding objects. That being said, I personally don't have that issue because before I run the robot I make sure that everything is put away that could cause a problem, which the instructions actually say to do that. It takes about 5 minutes to check my house to see if things will get in the way. We have 3 dogs and 1 ferret that roam our house. So far I am very pleased with the robot cleaning. Manual vacuums can cost up to $600 and I have to push it around so for this one being on sale at the time it was worth the buy. It's slightly noisy but not as noisy as our old manual vacuum so that is also good. I also suggest don't buy this robot thinking you will not have to do anything at all or clean things from time to time. Also if you are not a "techy" person, this is not for you as it may need "troubleshooting" at some point. It's not perfect but it's great and saves time

May make me a little lazy but it gets the job done

Never mind the dated look or the 2007 iphone keyboard, this piece of hardware is only as good as its software. The software and device are not in sync. Do not buythe brand at all. Since the software will be the same.

I like that it has a mop as well and that it maps the places and you can program it to where you really need it .

Very good vacuum, mop does not clean quite as well as I thought it would. Still a great little machine and helps the house stay clean without much effort. Picks up so much dirt and dog hair. I am very impressed that it is also so quiet for being so powerful. The dust trap does fill up quick, so if you are cleaning multiple rooms at a time be sure to empty the dust trap every couple of rooms.

Works well gets stuck on easy things sometimes. Decent for the money
