I bought a Roomba and took it back because it was all over the place, cleaning some areas multiple times and skipping others. I bought the Shark and the AI built into it is super intelligent. I wish I had bought it first!!

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she was delighted to receive kt. She did have problems with it and Shark sent her a brand new one. This vacuum is very powerful and organized.

When it works I love it. Fails frequently. Learns the area quickly.

Terrible software. Product does not map floor plan properly. Very difficult to connect to wifi. It might clean well - but with mapping and wifi issues, we have not been able to get a full cleaning cycle.

Great robot vacuum. Replaced an old I-Robot and this works better than the I-Robot and has a larger bin.

Love it, upgraded our previous Shark to this one and not disappointed at all. Wish I would have done it sooner

This is an upgraded Shark from my existing one. I moved this one downstairs and it seems to do a great job on area rugs and wood floors, Great product

Easy to assemble, looks killer, we have a new puppy so we have not constantly run it yet. Will come back with more comments on that.

Upon setup, one of the first things required is to set the vacuum to what basically amounts to the "learn" setting. This will send it on a randomized journey throughout the home, anywhere you want it to have access to, in order to learn the layout of the home, any obstacles, and anything else that might impede it actually cleaning. This takes up to 2 hours. That being said, listening to this thing run for 2 hours is enough to make someone want to burn all their Christmas presents, it's that loud. I wish I could say I got used to it and was able to tune it out, but unfortunately, I wasn't. It clatters along the wood and tile floors like an old diesel at idle. When it reaches a rug, the sound diminishes somewhat, but there's still a deep thrumming that makes listening to the television, a baby monitor, or even participating in conversation, impossible. Now, back to the setup portion. Based on the instructions, one would be forgiven to have thought that 2 hours of running nonstop would allow the unit to have mapped out everything to satisfaction. Sadly, this isn't the case. After the first go around, we had to run it on yet another mapping expedition to further fine-tune its database. It was only after the 3rd mapping session that it was satisfied it knew everything about us. Once the setup was done, we used the app to start the unit on a normal cleaning session. At least, that was the plan. There's no way to just hit "clean" and have the robot get to work. The scheduling option has to be used, even if the "scheduled" run is right now when I want it. It's very inconvenient to have to set up a schedule when that schedule may change on a daily basis. In this household, there's no such thing as a "schedule" where it can be run consistently. Did I mention it was loud? All that being said, actually watching it in action is rather impressive if one has never seen an automatic vacuum at work. It first worked the perimeter of the space, stopping just shy of any obstacle, pivoting precisely to the new direction it needed to be headed in, and set off. Once the perimeter was done, it moved in a counterclockwise direction, reducing each lap similar to mowing a lawn, until there was no more space to clean. After it had satisfied itself that it was a good robot, it headed back to its dock. Only then was there glorious silence. I later used a broom to sweep an area that is regularly dusty and covered in leftover crumbs, and I found that only the most recent detritus was being gathered. Everything else had been gathered and removed by the robot. It also has a bigger footprint than our older model, which allows it to climb things like floor mats with ease whereas the older model either struggled or high-centered itself, requiring human intervention. Overall, despite the initial pleasure at its cleaning capabilities, the noise and irritation at having to schedule a cleaning session outweigh the positives. Our older model, with no learning capabilities, was much quieter with only slightly reduced cleaning experiences. On the fence with a recommendation. If you aren't home often enough to vacuum when the house is empty, I'd recommend it over some of the older versions. If you have kids and work from home...maybe not.

Worked fine first two weeks. Then one brush stopped working. Two days later it would just stop in middle of a room. We tried all the trouble shooting applications, but need to let someone else take a look.

Extremely happy with my vacuum. Keeps the dog hair from accumulating without me pulling out the upright. Highly recommend!

Love it! So convenient and it works really well. It saves me so much time.

Good for hard floors but not great for carpets. I had to recaliber the robot a couple of times for it to find the exact floor plan.

So far has been great. It works as expected and is quiet than I thought it would be.

I love my Shark robot. It helps so much with keeping the dog fur under control.
