Good vacuum. Don't have pets so don't know how it performs in that regard. Otherwise, setup was easy, just follow the directions. After using it a while, I have it figured out & I will be having the unit re-explore my home & I will redefine the rooms I have defined. Overall, I like the vacuum & it performs quite well.

Runs great. Picks up great. What is a bit annoying is that it consistently runs over the electric cord for my recliner and gets tangled. Not good for the vacuum or the chair. I have set the boundary in the app for it to not go to that section of the room, but it still does every time. Other than that highly recommend

This robot vacuum is a game-changer! It effortlessly navigates my entire home, picking up every speck of dirt and dust in its path. This is my third Shark robo-vac and I think perhaps the best. My 2000 sq ft house is a bit of a challenge for any vacuum. I have a corgi and a kelpie both of whom shed like crazy year round, My three grandkids are in and out constantly with all their friends and I live on a dirt road with dust clouds all day every day. The Shark robo Vac handles it all though I do have to say the sIxty day capacity is a joke at my house. More like 6 days if I'm lucky, (again two dogs three grandkids and a dirt road) but since it doesn't have a bag it doesn't matter if I dump it every day. The complaints about the bin putting dust back and dirt back in the air when you dump it are exaggerated, it doesn't, and trust me, I would notice since I have a severe dust allergy. You get dust when you bang out the filters but it's the same with ALL vacuums including those with bags. I do it in the trash bin outside and have no problem. Over all, very pleased! I highly recommend this vacuum! My only complaint is that the app logged me out for some reason and won't take my password to get back in. I have tried to reset it but the website has been down for three weeks. However, unlike other robo vacs I've used, i don't have to have the app for it to work. I just press "clean" and off it goes

We had a roomba i3+ and burned out two motors in it in 1.5 years. I did some research into the robot vacuums and landed on this one. I am so happy with this vacuum. From the first time I ran it you could tell the difference in the suction power and cleaning ability of this vacuum. Perfect grid lines in the rug. It does not get stuck like the roomba did under the edge of the couch.

We have had it for a few weeks now and it's everything that we hoped it would be. We have a shark upright that we will use in other parts of the house, like upstairs, but this robot is being used on our main floor. It does a great job with pet hair!! I did a ton of research on robot vacuums, and this is a great buy for the value to features ratio. It's not as loud as I thought it would be as I have seen some people complain about the noise. The self empty is great!!! If you are looking to spend a little more than for the value ones but not 1G ON A VACUUM, this is it.

I cannot rave about my new shark robot vacuum enough! This thing is amazing I have had robots for years but this is literally the best one I have ever had and the price was amazing! This thing never gets stuck it goes back and empties itself goes back and charges itself up goes back to work finishes our house looks amazing!

I’ve owned an older Roomba 850 for 4 years and a generic Kybol vacuum for around 2 years, both are great helpers on the floor cleaning. This Shark model is my new favorite: it created a map of my first floor, it always knows exactly where it is. The app allowed me to create cleaning zones and no go zones. I can send the robot to specific areas: family room, kitchen, etc. no need for virtual wall sensors like my older roomba. In summary, It is great, little to no hair tangles on the rollers and it auto empties the dust on the charging base.

Absolutely love this robot vacuum! We were an iRobot family for a very long time but it seems like there technology upgrades is on the slower end now. With the really positive reviews on the is model of the Shark robot vacuum we decided to go this route. I’m so glad we did. With two dogs that shed extremely bad this vacuum does an amazing job for up keeping the floors between using the actual vacuum. It is very efficient and does our 1,400 sq. Ft. Home in 70mins and does have to empty its bin once in the cleaning cycle. I know the price is kind of high but I would buy this vacuum again for the simple fact our floors are always clean.

Easy to set up. It does a great job of cleaning up the house. I have four dogs and the previous version would get clogged up. This one hasn't need me to manually empty it.

Does a great job mapping the home! It does a general mapping when it starts and then gets more details when it actually cleans it seems. I love Having this! I can set it to clean when I’m out at work so when I get Home it’s nice and clean. I forgot I had A mess of extension wires underneath the bed, and it was under the bed for awhile but eventually got out! I was Watching it to see if it got stuck but it kept powering through! Takes a lot to get it stuck! It’ll try and work it’s way out before stopping and sending an alert. It gets every nook and cranny when cleaning. It adapts to its surroundings and will move around accordingly. I love having this!

Best thing ever! Works well annd it’s easy to set up. We have 3 large dogs and 2 cats so we were hesitant to buy this as we thought it would clog all the time, and be a hassle but let me tell ya, it does not! We use this thing daily and my floors are the most hairless they’ve ever been! The self emptying xl canister is amazing, we haven’t had to clean it out yet.

We love our Shark 2502AE Purchase. We did extensive research/reviews on other robot vacuums prior to making this purchase and it paid off. With two Golden Retrievers in the house and 3 girls, we weren't sure this Shark could swim with the big dogs; but with 2 months under our belt, we are more than pleased To be fair, nothing can replace our upright, but it sure comes close. Marriage has improved greatly too, guys!!! What to expect: Setup was self explanatory and we were up and running very quickly. One of things that did surprise me was the need to clean the roller (in our case) almost daily. It's not a complicated process but a necessary one for us. And we may make it 2 days before needing to empty the base dust bin. If you have multiple pets and long hair girls, you're going to be basically be doing daily maintenance with regard to the roller, robot dust bin, base dustbin, base motor pre filter, etc. This shark is far more efficient in cleaning/performance when I do this. I just didn't realize it would require that much attention. Including some cleaning brushes would be a nice touch! Don't over expect from the app! To me, this is about the only reason that prohibited me from making this a 5 star review. That said, I am writing my review about the equipment exclusively. I left my review for the app with the developer on the app store. I only mention it here for sake of being transparent. I am not at all happy with the app. It lacks much to be desired and I only gave it 1 star. While it gets the job done, not without a few curse words. It's quirky and quite frankly, sleepy and clumsy (my best description). Often times when I open the app, the Shark just takes off on its own without a command. Other times, it just has a mind of its own and starts by itself (no, schedule is not on). It's a little slow. Wheel is spinning after app is open and you cannot make a selection right away (new iPhone). I have to click on "rooms" click back to "home" and then back to "rooms" again to get it recognize my rooms. Most of the time, it does not remember my previous settings. I simply have to start all over. The biggest frustration is that a room cannot be added once it is cleaning. You have to dock it (and sometime the app does not recognize the "return to dock," so I actually have to go over to the robot and depress, "return to dock." This is a royal pain that a room cannot be added during cleaning. In addition, while yes, you can schedule 7 days a week - you cannot schedule more than 1 cleaning per day. Great White disappointment!! Come on man! One should easily be able to schedule multiple cleaning times in a day (morning/afternoon/evening). Charging is little slower than I would like also. If you need the shark multiple times in the day, better plan your day out carefully. "Normal" cleaning mode will help for sure, but MAX IS WHERE IT'S AT! In the app, when you click on parts and accessories, it should take you right to your model #, instead you get a message that says, "Do you know your product's model #? LOL App should know what my model is without me having to look it up every time. Bottom line: We LOVE the Shark. We HATE the app! We are taking the good with the bad, because it does perform and it does do an amazing job, given our pets (we have all wood floors). We are happy with our purchase. I asked the customer service rep which of the robot vacuums was returned the MOST after a purchase....he said it was not the Shark..I think you know who that leaves? At any rate, the store certainly sees this side of "repairs/returns" more than me, so I appreciate the honest answer. If you have multiple pets, take a close look at the reviews from these owners. That's what we did and we're glad we did! We did decide to buy the extended warranty, although a little pricey. My guess is, at some point we will need it. It's just a gut feeling. Absolutely love this for my home. I have two pets and a child. I run it 2-3 times a day. Super effective. I have it in a schedule morning and night through the app. It has a sensor so if I’m in the kitchen it doesn’t run into me. Even gets under my couch that is lifted where pet fur seems to build up. I highly recommend. You still feel like you are cleaning your house while getting other things done

Really great vacuum. Note that we have purchased with the tower and self clean option we can’t go back. Needs cleaned often. Meaning the roller gets human hair wrapped around it and out needs maintenance. It is however easy to clean.

I needed something to help with the dirt brought in by my dogs and my husband (farmer) to run daily. I am blown away at how well this works. It is super easy to set up and map the house. I love that I can just go to the app and start this while I’m working on other things. It does an amazing job and picking up all the mess from our country life!

I am hoping this vacuum lasts longer than the Roomba i3+. I had two of those and they didn't last the warranty period. The Shark Ai Ultra does a good job in vacuuming although hasn't yet covered all the areas it mapped. Perhaps it will after it's vacuumed the house several times. Yesterday I had an issue with it removing pet hair. The roller got clogged and I was notified to fix it via the app. I like that no bags are needed as the Roomba i3+ I had previously. The i3's rollers also got clogged with pet hair/carpet. The major downside is that the Shark robot requires 3 hours to recharge. Which means that to clean my whole house, 9 to 12 hours of cleaning time are needed. Unfortunately you can only schedule the whole house to be cleaned. It has better mapping than the i3+ and sections of the house can be cleaned by the Shark. However, that can only be done manually via the app. Shark needs to modify the schedule to allow parts of the house be cleaned. Then it wouldn't need to be scheduled for so long a time.

Great vacuum! Love it! Good suction and keeps things very clean.

This is worth every penny!! 2 dogs and two kids. I was constantly sweeping and I couldn’t keep up! We call her clean latifah. She is basically my best friend! The app definitely needs work and should show where the vaccumm is when on and mapping the area could be better. I have all vinyl floors one level and it’s super precise. I have no more sand feeling on my feet!
