I Bought this for my 70 year old mom. Her old vacuum was having issues and she wanted something light weight that wouldn't take up much space. The vacuum is a bit top heavy and you can't stand it up by itself when not in use. It has to lean on something. Canister fills up pretty quickly but I kind of expected that. Suction is good, not great. Overall, it does a pretty good job of getting up the dirt and hairs, etc.. Not as powerful as my Shark full size pet vacuum, but not bad. Overall a decent product.

I bought this on sale and I love it,it's light and easy it gets the job done.

Its so easy to use; it gets under furniture and manuvers around things so easily. I like the fact I can click a button and detach the lightweight canister and it becomes a hand vac getting in small places or along baseboards, and then click, and Im vacuuming the carpet again. And then flip a switch, and Im vacuuming the vinyl floor instantly. So versatile. Vacuums well. Love it !

only wish vacuum would stand up right on its own with out having to remove top section. other than that great suction easy to use

It’s a workhorse. Great power and suction. This is my second Shark in two years. We loved our other Shark so much that even though it didn’t last any where close to as long as it should have....I love that it was so lightweight yet had so much power and versatility. This one however is NOT lightweight. It’s heavy...and all the weight is at the top making it even more awkward. The head is larger making it not as versatile as our previous model. Bottom line..I would definitely by another Shark but maybe not this model.

Very good vacuum for an apartment/townhome or spot cleaning a bigger home. Bought it for hardwood floors, stairs, and small rugs. It is really powerful. The top part detaches and I can walk around and clean up dust bunnies or the dust around the window sash. I chose this one because it is highly rated on consumer reports. I have a two-bedroom 700 SF townhouse and it's perfect for this size.

I honestly can’t say enough GREAT things about this vacuum. We have an Akita (long haired dog) and two cats indoors and this vacuum doesn’t stop! It is great for picking up the dander on hardwood floors as well as carpets. Very easy to use and very multi-taskfull. The rollers do not get hair tangled in them like most vacuums, so it’s a breeze for clean up.

If you're OK with the cord this is an excellent vacuum cleaner everything it says it does it does built well all the components work excellent vacuum power I use it to clean everything from carpets to car, only slight critique is it doesn't stand up on its own otherwise this thing is excellent

I purchase this vaccuum last year and still works like the first day. I wanted to wait to post a review to really test this vaccum. Easy to use and clean, it works great with dog hair (I have a golden doodle that sheds a lot). Clean filters often to avoid any odors when using vaccuum.

I had a Shark stick vacuum for years and loved it A friend was in need of a good machine so i gave her my old Shark and updated to the Shark Apex. I wanted one with the double brush head because of cat food and litter on the floor. This Apex machine is amazing. What an upgrade from the old machine. Headlights, a bigger dust bucket, more suction. I love this machine

Aweaome vacuum very small and light weight easy to use.

Excellent vacuum. Just remodeled a house & put vinyl plank flooring in. This does great on the small rugs we have & easy to switch back to hard floor use. Between 2 daughters with long hair & a dog, the hair was out of control. And I. Hate. Hair. This vacuum does the job with ease. Totally impressed with how no hair has wound around any of the rollers.

We like this vacuum because it is powerful and it is easy to clean. Good to clean carpet and regular floor
