This Shark Apex Duo vacuum can be used as a handheld device for quick localized clean-up or as a traditional vacuum. Thoroughly enjoy the two stage switch that engages the brushes on carpet, but can also use only the soft roller on hardwoods or laminate.

Purchased on black Friday so was an incredible deal, if I had know how well it worked I would have paid more before the sale. Also purchased wall mount directly from shark and it has been a game changer to have it hanging in the closet by the kitchen.

This is simply the best vacuum for the money. Very easy to use, picks up everything and gets the corners and edges. With two very active dogs and us farmers going in and out all day, I sometimes use my Shark twice a day. I’m very impressed great it works.

Powerful cleaner, very flexible for under and around furniture legs. The 2 speeds are great, bare floors and carpets cleaned well. The power head is heavy and either the stick must lie down on the floor if you need to step away or the head removed from the stick. Leaning against the wall isn't an option--too heavy.

This stick vac is just what we needed. Light and handy enough to use between major cleanings. Versatile in that the motor part can be used in tight areas and along edges. We wanted a corded vac so there are no batteries to go dead or wear out.

Great product. Very powerful but light weight. Gets under furniture and other hard to reach places very well. great for stairs. Only down side is that the dust cup is somewhat small so it should be emptied after each use. Overall, highly recommend.

The vacuum cleans very well. I picked this up because my Dyson stick's battery life is terrible. This vacuum takes a little bit to get use to because the roller makes it self propel. It is strange to try and pull your vacuum back and have it fight you to keep moving forward. It vacuums up pet hair very well.

I like everything about this little vac. Except for the tiny refuse bucket. If its for animals, then it should be able to clean up dog and cat hair without having to stop in the middle and empty the bucket. Other than that, its great!

I have 2 yellow labs and have to sweep twice a day - no more! I sweep once a day on hardwood and a carpet, and this vacuum gets it done. The only issues I have are that it's top heavy, and paper seems to get stuck in it, but it's easily removed from the top of the machine. I am happy with this purchase.

I love how lightweight it is. Its so easy to vacuum my couches. Suction is decent but not phenomenal. It squeaks terribly while I vacuum. I thought it would eventually work itself out but 6 months later it still squeaks. Easy to dump canister. Overall its a good vacuum for the sale price I paid.

We have 4 dogs and I love this vacuum! It's lightweight and easy to use. I find the swivel steering easier to maneuver than my larger Shark. The hand vac part is convenient and I like it better than expected. This vacuum makes me want to clean!

Lightweight vacuum with easily detachable hand vacuum for steps and tighter areas. Easy release and snap together of parts. Great pickup of pet hair and dust. Simple release of dust contents for disposal.

The hair free roller feature seems to work— used 5 times and no hair stuck in the roller so far! The fact that it is detachable and can be used as a handheld vacuum is awesome and extremely easy to configure. No complaints!

This vacuum is the one to have for both carpet and hard floors. It’s a great unit for a house with pets with all the attachments. It’s very powerful and cleans great. I wish it was cordless is my only complaint.

Everything I wanted in a vacuum. Picks up so much more than our old one. Love that it's corded and doesn't ever run out of juice. And also that it's bagless. I love emptying out a full cup of dog hair after 20 minutes of cleaning!

We were looking for something easy to clean because after some time cleaning up hairs from its brush is painful, this version has its own blades that give you the ease of use. I definitely recommend for pet owners.

This is our second Shark vacuum. We have an english bulldog and he sheds a moderate amount. Our floors are hard wood. This vacuum makes sweeping a breeze and picks up the hair very well. It seems to do well on carpet also.

This thing sucks so good! It makes my hardwood floors shine like Mr. cleans head! This will suck the fur off of your cat! You will not find a better vacuum ever! Get this from Best Buy or you will not regret it.

Love Shark vacuum sticks. This is our second one because they are light and easy to use. Wanted the new option of self cleaning but we still have to clean the roll. Hair is still hard to clear out.

Bought this vacuum and I love it, it works great i use it on wood floor and carpet and it works great also love the fact that hair doesn't get tangled in the roller. I do recommend this vacuum.
