I really LOVE this vacuum for many reasons and I have some dislikes about it as well. Pros: the lift away allows you to get under beds and dressers that are high enough off the ground. The 2 different wands are great for multipurpose uses. The cord on this one is longer then the others reaching farther. The new self cleaning rolling brush is 100 times better then the last one with a lot of bristles, saves me time cleaning out the rolling brush bar. The bagless canister is always a bonus as well. The washable filter is great too! Comes with a stair attachment and a crevice tool. Cons: The wand, when you use it against trim and crevice tools- leaves marks on trim. So I have to be very careful when doing this which I never had concern with with my other Shark vacuum of same APEX. Another con is that I wish it came with replacement filters of both the inside and the bottom. I clean residential homes and it holds up great to my use, you have to really maintain this vacuum to get a long life out of it. But this is my favorite vacuum!!!

So far very happy with the performance of the Shark Apex, easy to assemble and does a great job on the carpet, rugs and wood floors. Only thing I don't like is the tools and their storage - the 2 tools are pretty cheap for an expensive vac and the place to store them on the vac is horrible, they don't stay attached and fall off.

I LOVE this vacuum! It works beautiful in carpet and on my wood and tile floors!!! Have had many Sharks and this one is the best yet! It is a bit heavy but worth it! Love the light on the head even when not attached to the vacuum!

I've actually owned 3 of this model. My mom was visiting and loved it so mucho I gave her mine, and I gave my 2nd away to a friend who liked it and was in need of a vacuum. My mom has had hers for nearly 3 years, my friend for 1, and they have had zero issues. I recently bought this model on sale, which was a steal. Great suction, easily maneuvers around or under furniture, and the lift away technology which turns the upright into a hand held cannister is great for stairs and under the bed. Would never own another brand at this point.

Best vacuum I’ve owned at a fair price. Done buying Dyson. Highly recommend the vacuum over Dyson.

I got this on sale for work. I run a cleaning company! I love the features on it! Headlights are convenient, cord is super long and it sure does suck! Haha. I would recommend anyone to grab one of these baby boys when you find them on sale!

I like the cord length. I like that the canister can detach from the Brushroll. It does not seem have the pickup as my Navigator did, but it has a much better suction than my Dyson Vacuum.

I loved this vacuum so much howevet after a year something broke on it and best buy didnt have the same vacuum to replace it. I could dust with this vacume. Clean my ceiling fan. It worked well with my 4 dogs and 3 cats. My house was very clean.

The vacuum works great. It seems well made. I just didn't realize how heavy it would be. I need to try it without the canister attached. There's an attachment to put the canister on a base so you don't carry it around, but it's $50 extra. If this unit came with that, and I could use it that way (being lighter and easier to maneuver), I'd be more likely to keep it. I'll be looking for something more lightweight and return it. Maybe I've been spoiled by small, cordless vacs. But, those have other problems.

Great suction power. Having the head on a swivel makes it easier to move around furniture. The sealed system will help with pet allergies.

Works well. Easy to use. Very efficient. Wish the vacuum head was a bit shorter to fit under sofas and such. Detachable hose works well, but needs to be broken in a bit otherwise it tends to spring back and drag the whole unit back on to itself. Had to buy a more robust vacuum due to pet hair defeating the previous vacuum. The Apex tackles all surfaces and picks up everything with ease.

I purchased this vaccum a month ago, this is one of the best vaccum for carpets, sucks out fine dust and it’s multi functionality to switch to wooden floor let’s me clean my kitchen. I see Less allergies now.

I have purchased many Shark products and I always go back to Shark because the products are dependable and well priced, but mainly because they do a fantastic job. This was no disappointment. Great suction, easy to maneuver and the lift away function is great!!

We had another shark vacuum that had lasted for years so when that one finally died, the decision to get another was easy. This models self cleaning brush roll is awesome and the vacuum’s suction power is an appreciated upgrade.

When it gets clogged or something the lights flash to let you know it’s not working. Long cord let’s me plug in one spot and hit everything. Don’t have to constantly remove wrapped up hair.

It’s a basic straightforward vacuum the decent suction. The canister removal for vacuuming under furniture is the best feature.

Best suction in the business! Had a dyson and the difference is noticeable. For looks pick dyson. For a proper job, this is your vacuum.
