This is a great air filter for the house. It’s very quiet. It’ll automatically turn on if it detects any pollution. The filter is really strong. You don’t have to change it very often.

About two years ago my family began using a super fancy and extremely expensive Air Purifier. Strangely the purifier left the air smelling like hot glue, or something burning. I thought that maybe I had failed to unwrap part of the HEPA filters inside, but I found no such issue. Though the purifier said that the filter was good for hundreds of additional hours, we stopped using the device. A new filter cost over $100 and we didn't want to risk wasting so much additional money. Recently, my wife opened a salon in our house and we wanted to ensure that her clients aren't able to smell our pets. I didn't want to use the existing purifier, so we ordered the Shark Purifier. Both of us were immediately impressed. We haven't needed to bother with adjusting any settings or trying different modes, the automatic mode has been spectacular. The purifier is extremely quiet and starts working as soon as it detects any particulates in the air. After just a few hours we noticed the air feeling cleaner and actually smelling fresh thanks to the "Odor Neutralizer" tabs. While I love how simple and effective the Purifier is, there is very limited information about what they only seem to refer to as "Odor Neutralizer Technology". There is a little plastic disk that twists into the top of the device that seems to be basically an air freshener. There is no real mention of what the scent is, or how long the scent is intended to last, or where to buy replacement scents. Thankfully the scent is not too strong and actually seems fairly pleasant - similar to the scent of a dryer sheet. There seem to be generic replacements sold on several 3rd party websites, but nothing seems to be official. Besides the oddness of the "Odor Neutralizer Technology" discs, we love the Shark Purifier. The display clearly indicates how clean the air is and automatically adjusts the speed of the fan to ensure that the air is cleaned back to 100%. The smell of pets and cooking has been eliminated from the air and my wife's salon clients have never mentioned any smells in the air. As long as the odor neutralizer discs don't cause problems, I am completely satisfied.

I have been running this machine constantly in eco mode now for around 6 weeks. It sets off to clean the air when it senses something wrong .... like the smell from a fry-up and effectively makes your living space more pleasant. I choose not to use the fragrance attachment with this one as I haven't found it necessary. I tract the effectiveness of my sleep, and the biggest benefit for me is that as a sleep-time cougher, this machine has steadily reduced my coughing time. It is a noticeable difference in the stats, and whilst I haven't completely stopped coughing, I can sleep right through without waking up and grabbing for a drink of water. Really pleased with this.

this thing is huge!!! I did not pay attention to the size of this machine when i purchased online so was surprised when it got delivered. I am super sensitive to smells and cannot stand the smell of the odor neutralizer. Glad the machine still works without the smell cartridge plugged in. I would love to exchange for the smaller 500sqft model but the price difference is only $11 bucks after Black Friday so i guess i am keeping this big one. Knock one star off because I cannot stand the deodorizer smell ughhh.

This is the 3rd unit I’ve purchased. I use all 3 all the time. It helps with allergies as well as odors. I have a pretty large finished basement and one unit handles it well. It really helped with the “ basement smell”. We also run a dehumidifier constantly. I have used other brands of air purifiers over the years and this is by far my favorite.

This has been a valued addition to my home! Knowing that the air around me is being scrubbed and is healthier for me brings so much peace of mind. The fragrance is a clean yet not overpowering scent.

This works better than my other one that I had. It’s quieter on high than my other one. Helps me cause I have bad allergies. Also helps with the smell from Guinea pigs area which is a big plus. Would buy again

Enjoy it overall you’re definitely gonna see it turn red when you have candles burning or something, but I feel like a good does a good job of getting the food smells and stuff when I also cook with the fan on and turn it up beforehand. I don’t necessarily know if it’s making my house less dusty cause I don’t feel like I have a point of reference like I just don’t pay attention to that as much but I do feel like I don’t have as many stuffy noses, and allergies that they usually do.

Very please with the Shark Air Purifier! I keep it on auto “Eco” mode. I have it place in my living room with an open concept into the dining/kitchen area. When cooking any odors are automatically picked up by the Shark, turning on to scrub the air. Any deviation in air quality the Shark will automatically turn on. Awesome unit!

Works pretty well. The air seems cleaner when using it. It’s mostly quiet. My only complaint is sometimes the sensor drops the air percentage down for no reason that I can see. When makes the fan turn up to higher settings, noisier. I bought two. One for our bedroom and one for our living room. The bedroom one would turn itself up to high during the night , for no resson. Which would wake us up. So, returned one. And now just have one in the living room. And it seems to be working well. I’ve noticed it has to be a well ventilated area of the room. Or the thermostat drops too easily. I am happy with the quality of the air it makes. And am keeping the one in our living area. My wife has asthma and it does keep the air cleaner. I wouldn’t put it in my bedroom , due too the noise of it changing settings. Causing noise.

I put this in my kitchen because i felt like my hood fan wasnt doing the job and when i cooked the whole house would smell. It 100% works and everytime i cook it slowly goes to 0% air quality which telle me i was right. It has also really helps eliminate the odors from cooking. Ive notieced everyone in the house hasnt been suffering as badly from sinus issues either.

Easy to setup and very quiet. Very sensitive and reacts quickly to any dust introduce into the area.

It’s just below knee hight, but really light. Works great and extremely quiet. My wife loves the color changing sensor along with the clean air percentage display. We are so happy with the product that we bought a second one for a whole other area.

The air filter on our AC Unit looked entirely different inf the first and second month. The air sense is great cause it keeps it from running 100% all the time. 3 cats and 2 dogs. Helped the allergies as well do recommend. I will say, the scent topper leaves something to be desired. and it can get loud. But performance is top notch

The Shark air purifier is great at cleaning the air quality in my home! With the additional odor neutralizer the air is always clean and fresh!!!

I have this unit for about 3 years now and it is great, the fan settings allow for me to make it quiet but working in the background, the display has a light button so it doesn't bother you and when replacing the filter I can tell it does a great job and the scent pods are a bonus
