It took me a week to unbox and start using this portable vacuum, but the moment I did it, I realized this had been an excellent purchase. I have three dogs. I bought it mainly to easily clean my dogs' hair and dust around their beddings. I am actually using this vacuum beyond that now. It is convenient, and the battery lasts for hours. I no longer have to clean small areas of the house by having to plug in and get going with my other big Shark vacuum cleaners. The main attributes are portability, it is not overly noisy, it is effective, easy to empty the canister, and it also has useful additional devices.

I recently bought this vacuum for my stairs and small jobs. The vacuum strength and suction is pretty great. The attachments that come with it, to include the mini powered rollers attachment, are great and work well. The reason I gave this thing a 3 - stars is because of the battery life. I have not been able to finish one flight of stairs without having to charge it before i'm done. Kind of crazy.

This little machine can pull up even the deeply embedded springs and strings. Very convenient to use on stair cases and window frames. Easy to dump dirt and clean after use. Its vertical posirion when charging is space friendly. Two convenient and easy to hook up and use, to pull and vacuum small fragments and the other, to vacuum larger particles .

Really strong and resilient vacuum, good for pet hair, small spills and localized areas.

Holds charge well and easy to charge. powerful and effective and use it frequently to clean around my fireplace or workshop

Bought this to replace a unit that had a failed battery. Replacement batteries are almost as much as the whole unit and I was unable to find a 3rd party replacement, so I decided to buy a whole new vacuum instead. I do wish the battery was more standardized, otherwise it's a great unit - very powerful and the original did last a few years.

got this for my dad for his bday, he loves it, besides the color. lasts long, powerful enough he got rid of his shop vac.

improvement on battery holding capacity without pluging in is needed..good suction and lighter weight..worth for the price

Great suction and long run time. I use it every day for pet hair on furniture and messes on the floor.

Good vacuum power, light weight to use. Only negative would be that the small nozzle tends to fall out occasionally..

Such a great buy. Powerful, the attachments are useful, and cleanup is easy. I use this in my house and my car. The only thing I wish is that the battery life was a little longer, but it is simple to charge and lasts plenty long enough to clean the whole house.

This vac does a great job on my stairs, especially with the cat fur. And it is much quieter than my previous corded vac (for which you needed hearing protection). My problem is that you can't store the unit on the charger (by the instructions), and it doesn't hold a charge for over week after charging. So you kinda have to plan ahead. charging the day before you plan to use it.

It has great suction and the run time on a charge is great. Matter of fact we have yet to run the battery down where the vacuum died. It comes with a pet hair brush and the other attachments in a nice caddie that can sit on the counter or mount to the wall. Great product, Shark makes great products.

Comes with useful attachments. Good for cleaning the car when you don't want to haul out a vaccuum.

I liked the Shark cordless hand vacuum so much I bought a second one to use at our cabin. It is great for picking up pet hair (and we have lots with two labradors) and works well on stairs (which we also have plenty of. Very happy. Have purchased 2 small hand vacuums over the past 10 years and they lack real power even the name brands. This one seemed better than most but I think the size really hurts these types of vacuums as they lack really hard suction. I have used this one several times and it seems to be better but the real test is as time goes by and the batteries lose their charge from sitting. Right now it seems it is above my expectations and does a really good job not great but really good

The turbine, motorized ,high speed rotating brush attachment is a must have.It will literally ,pull up cheap ,or low quality carpet.! I use indoors ,for high end bmw sports car, the garage ,rugs ,anything anywhere.The charging time for the lithium (replaceable)battery ,is just about an hour for a 20 min plus run.

I wanted something that the wife could handle easily, and this product is just perfect. For conveniently easy access I mounted it in the laundry room above the power outlet (for re-charging). I had some attachments from a previous Shark vacuum and they fit this model; providing even more utility. Great little portable at a good Best Buy price!

I needed a portable, hand-held vacuum. I saw the ad on-line at Best Buy, read the reviews, and thought I'd give it a try. It came quickly. I charged it over night and tried it out the next day. It worked! It was not overly loud, had good suction and helped me tidy up my office. In all honesty, with income taxes looming, I didn't get a chance to use it again since that first day, but I expect it to perform as well as it did the first time. With family coming next weekend, I will definitely be using it again in and around my office (and maybe the car) this week. Unless there's a disaster, I will leave my review as 5 stars based on the initial performance. I like it much better than the dead Black & Decker hand-held that it replaces.

This handy little vacuum is extrewmely powerful and comes with useful attachments.
