Purchased for myself and was not impressed so I returned it. It’s states you should see noticeable difference in your under eyes after one use. I didn’t notice a difference at all. The cold plates for the under eyes can be a bit intense and not very pleasant. I would just do a full body red light at the salon.

I've been using the Shark Cryoglow for about 4 weeks now. I've never had experience with any of the other red LED masks on the market. First impressions is that the mask is well built and sturdy. The mask is a hard plastic with a built in wired controller that can be charged with the supplied USB-C charger. The mask isn't just and LED red light treatment, it's also has under eye cooling which should reduce puffiness and they offer a few sizes of eye coolers that you can put on the mask. The mask has adjustable straps to fit your head no matter what size it is. As the instructions state you should charge it up completely before using it the first time. Using it the first time you'll choose your program that you want to start with. There's Better Aging, Skin Clearing, Skin Sustain and Under eye revive where only the under eye chillers are on. The mask not only uses red LED therapy but blue light which is supposed to reduce acne, and deep infrared which is said to increase collagen production. Choose what program you think you may want to continue using and go with that and keep it up consistently. The mask fits well and isn't a bother to wear. I can read my phone and talk with it on without issue. I usually use it in the bed but if I wanted to get up and walk around there is a clip to clip on your pocket or pants or wherever. The under eye cooling technology is actually pretty amazing. It almost freezes your eye bags instantly. The first time I tried it it felt almost too cold on the coldest setting but eventually I got used to it. If it ends up being too cold for you you can choose a lesser setting. Results: Both me and my spouse have used this for about 4 weeks. I honestly have noticed less blemishes and acne on both mine and my spouses face after weeks of use. My spouse has said the same thing. My skin feels slightly tighter and more healthy. The under eye treatment is more noticeable as you can see and feel less puffiness if used early in the morning. I fully expect for my skin to continue to improve over the next few weeks I will say you will have to keep the charging cord with you if traveling with the CryoGlow, as you will only get 2 full sessions of the skin clearing treatment (which is the longest at 8 min) and your mask will die midway thru the third treatment. Just leave it on the charger when not in use and you'll be good to go and it'll be ready when you need it. All in all looking at the plethora of competition to this mask with other LED anti aging masks that have flooded the market, the Shark Cryoglow is at the top of the list. Is it the cheapest? No, but shark is known for their research and development and making quality products that they stand by. If you're looking for an addition to bump up your face care regiment look at the Cryoglow and you won't be disappointed.

It’s bulky and doesn’t cover the entire face. I had breakouts after using it

I bought this a month ago and have used the mask exactly as directed. I have not noticed any improvement in my skin or the under-eye bags. The battery life is poor, and the mask feels clunky and uncomfortable to wear. I would not recommend this product.

Unboxing and Setup: Unboxing the Shark CryoGlow was pretty easy. Just needed to plug the included USBC charger in and charge the control handle. Then after reading the instructions, I tried the Better Aging Treatment, Skin Clearing and Under-Eye Revive. After 4 weeks of use: I found the Better Aging Treatment a fast 6 min every day while I am either playing a game on my phone or watching some evening tv. It goes quick. The feeling is a nice light cooling under my eyes and the light noise of the fans but nothing too loud. Initially I did not see much but over time I could see the skin in the corner of my eye’s showing less visible lines. It makes me feel younger. I liked the Under-Eye Treatment since you can adjust the time from 5-15 min, and it is a nice cooling also. After that is done my eyes seem less puffy and not so dark. Really it works. Obviously, the next day it seems to fade but that is why you use this daily. My Daughter used the Skin treatment and this was her experience. When it comes to skin cleaning treatment, she found that it is a very helpful tool to help with breakouts and acne scars. As a 17-year-old female with a new struggle of hormonal acne she had started a new skin medication in November 2024 so when she started using the mask she was in the middle of my skin purging from that medication in February 2025. When she started using the mask four weeks ago, she had bad scaring and cystic acne on her cheeks mainly. Now her skin is smooth with still some scars, but she finds that the mask cools down her inflamed skin and helps her to clean it before she goes to bed. She may truly never know if the mask was the reason for her skin cleaning up so quickly or if it was the effects of her new Benzoyl peroxide medication, or if it could be a mix of the two. Either way the Shark Cyroglow Face Mask has brought a positive impact to our skin. While using the mask she sat on her phone and there really is no comfortable way to lay down or use the mask while on your phone since the eye holes are so small. Also, the cooling eye pieces inside the mask tend to dig into her cheeks and leave red marks since the only comfortable way to wear the mask is propped on a pillow sitting up. She has only used the mask for about 4 weeks as of right now but even during those four weeks she saw visible changes and look forward to using it for the full 12 weeks to truly see the difference. One negative for is the comfort of it, when it comes to winding down at the end of the day. If you weren’t looking at your phone or even watching tv instead I could see how it can probably be more comfortable to use. Also, just something to note is the loud fan the mask has, I didn’t truly notice it but when spending the night with friends they complained of the noise of the mask being very loud, so just something to think about. In summary this is a very neat product, and we found it very useful and innovative. I would recommend it and hopefully the fans can get quitter, and an App could track the progress to remind you to use it. Nice that multiple members of the family can use. Also only over long term use can we determine how effective this is if not used daily.

I was so excited to receive my Shark CryoGlow Face Mask, and I’m still excited by its performance. In general, I like all Shark products since they tend to be well thought out, and the Shark CryoGlow Face Mask falls in line with Shark’s commitment to quality and, in this case, filling a niche in the beauty realm. After using my CryoGlow for over 30 sessions, I can truly say that there is a distinct improvement in skin tone, and I look forward to continued improvement in the appearance of my facial skin. There are four (4) treatment modes ranging from 4 minutes to 15 minutes in length: 1. Better Aging Treatment – 6-minute session (I’ve had 28 sessions so far) where it uses red and infrared LEDs to help reduce fine lines. I’ve noticed a definite lessening of fine lines. 2. Skin Clearing Treatment – I’ve had 20 8-minute sessions where it uses blue and infrared LEDs reducing acne and redness on my face. 3. Skin Sustain Treatment (recommended after using the mask first for 4 weeks) – this is used in 4-minute sessions, and I’ve seen an increase in my skin’s radiance as it helps maintain skin condition. 4. Under-Eye Revive Treatment – the cooling pad under each eye relieves tired eyes, puffiness under the eyes by helping tighten the skin there. I use this in conjunction with all the other treatments at the same time, and the cooling can be separately adjusted to suit your preferences. This has helped smooth and lighten the skin color beneath my eyes. All-in-all the CryoGlow Mask treatment modes target different facial skin matters such as anti-aging, breakouts, uneven skin tones and redness. I’ve found that using the CryoGlow Mask as outlined above, my facial skin has improved in all these categories giving my face a healthier glow. After one week of use, my husband noticed good changes in my facial skin and that my skin tone was more even. I’ve been using my CryoGlow Mask each evening before bedtime. I look forward to each evening’s relaxation and knowing I’m pampering myself to a better-looking skin tone. I noticed at the end of four (4) weeks that my skin tone was more even and a couple of dark spots I had had diminished as well as the fine lines under my eyes had diminished. My overall look was more refreshed. Likes: 1. I love knowing that the IQLED technology that provides LED sequencing targets energy between the layers of my skin without gaps or hot spots. This makes sure the whole face is treated evenly. 2. I love the InstaChill undereye therapy since it helps tighten the skin there and soothes tired eyes. You can use this under-eye treatment anytime, and I keep it on during my other sessions. It’s very relaxing. 3. The mask is very portable. 4. The head strap is completely adjustable. Dislikes: 1. The separate controller is too sensitive, taking more time to select the particular session you want. 2. Be sure to look at the battery indicator on the controller at the end of your session(s) each day to see how much charge is left. I’ve found that if I do two days of multiple combo sessions, I will need to recharge the device then. You cannot use the device while it is charging. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I truly like the Shark CryoGlow Face Mask and it demonstrably improves for me all the skin conditions listed in this review. This product is FDA approved, and I like it much better than a similar product I used that listed for $250.00 more.

The first time I saw this I thought that I give it a try, but didn't expect much from it. Once I received it, I hooked it up to the charger and let it charge for about an hour or so. Once charged, I started adjusting the strap that holds it on your head. I think they need to change the way that the strap is adjusted, because it will be tight on your face, but that may only be for the top part of your face and not the lower part. I couldn't adjust it to where it was tight around my entire face, only the upper part of my face. I also would like a feature that you can add something inside the mask parts of the eyes, because my eyelids are pretty dark too, and I would like to utilize this technology to see if it can help with that! I would also like tit if the remote can be charged while using it. It has been a couple times that I forgot to charge it, and when I'm ready to use it I have to charge it first and wait. I also think that it would be nice to have it adjustable to make it a little bit longer, because the mask didn't cover my entire chin. Now with that out-of-the-way, let's get to the good part! I've been using the mask now for about 30 days, and has had a really good experience with it! My face has a darker skin tone on parts than they do in others, but now my face skin tone is even and you can't even tell where the dark areas were now! I have really dark bags under my eyes that I've never been able to address, so I was hoping to get a little bit of help from the shark Cryoglow mask, and it helped a lot in such a short period of time! The bags under my eyes are hereditary, so I didn't think this mask would even have any results. Looking in the mirror now, I see my under eyes are much lighter than they were before I started using the mask! Last but not least, another great thing is my skin is much clearer now, then it was prior to mask use. It's crazy how less than 30 days of using this mask, I see these kind of results! I really believed I would need to use it a lot longer, and was ready to write a bad review if I didn't have any results for 30 days I used it! So I guess I was wrong all this time, when I believe that things like this were gimmicks, and just the way to make a quick buck! I have problem skin and it worked on me, so I definitely recommend anybody reading this get one as soon as possible!

This product definitely was a pleasant surprise. First off, Shark isn’t always known for high quality products or packaging. Mostly middle of the line work is to be expected, but out of the box I really appreciated the earth friendly packaging. You’ll get your face mask, carrying bag, extra eye attachment, and a wall charger. Everything seemed well made and easy to use. Instructions ask you to charge the device fully before use. What was interesting off the bat, is that the remote control is directly permanently attached to the mask. The wall charger, then plugs into the top of the remote control and a light up display tells you the charging status on the remote. Not that it matters much, as most folks won’t be in a frantic time crunch to use the device at any moment, but it certainly takes a while to fully charge. Once setup, the device has four modes. There’s a cooling therapy for under your eyes that can be used as much as you want, I believe up to 15min at a time, though I’ve never used that mode by itself. The two main modes are a “age defying” mode which lasts for six minutes, to be completed daily for 8 weeks, and is designed to make you appear younger. There’s also an anti acne mode that lasts 8min, to be used daily for 8 weeks as well. The final mode is to be used once you’ve completed the full cycle of the anti-aging or anti-acne modes, and lasts 4min to be used daily as general upkeep. I don’t have acne and my wife barely does, but I’ve been letting her use the device to test the anti-acne feature. It’s been about a month at this point and we both see slight results. Her only complaint is that she feels that her face is dry shortly after use. I’ve been using the anti-aging mode for 4 weeks now and have the same complaint about dry skin after use. That said, it’s not the end of the world, we both just use lotion after use and it’s completely fine. As for results, I’d like to think I can see some but my biggest tell tale sign is that I’ve had multiple male coworkers say they notice my skin looking healthier. That sounds not real and is hard to believe, but I’m being dead serious. I have two qualms with the device. First being that you have to hold the button on the remote for startup but you end up having to hold it for a comically long time, all things considered. I understand that they don’t want people just bumping into it and running the device, but a 1-2 second hold or double click is suffice. It’s probably closer to 5 seconds to power on which isn’t wildly different but once you use it, you’ll realize how annoying that becomes on a daily basis. No points deducted for that. My only point deduction comes from the fact that the battery is atrocious. After a full charge, I’ll use the device and already lose a portion of the battery display. It probably lasts around 5 routines, roughly 30min before having to be charged for hours again. Not the end of the world, but with having to carry the mask, cord, and attached remote around every few days to plug into the wall and haul it back around a few days later, the battery is easily the downside here. All said, if you’re wanting results, I’m skeptical myself, but the proof is here and I can confidently give this two thumbs up as an easy to use, solid device that does what it says. Good job, Shark!
