Love!!! It’s definitely a smart vacuum. Light weight for stairs. And leaves the carpet looking like it was washed. The battery life is not the best if you have it on smart mode, it needs to be charged after each use. I use for hard wood floor and carpet. It does not come with the emptying base just a cord to charge.

It does its job. I saw a few reviews about the battery life, but my place is small enough to vaccum before the battery dies. Great on carpet and vinyl flooring. Easy to clean and easy to use *chefs kiss* Tried several handle configurations, works for vaccumming my car too. Love it

After a month of almost daily use, still not what I was hoping for. It’s a decent vaccuum overall with bells and whistles, and definite pros and cons. **Pros: lightweight, great suction, picks up larger debris pieces easily, super maneuverable swivel head, bright headlights, and easy emptying (a little too easy, I sometimes tap the button by accident and it’ll pop open and spill, so also a con). **Cons: doesn’t suck up much in reverse (it’ll push stuff backward instead), collects A LOT of hair on the bottom brush behind roller (attached pic) which gets spread around while you’re vaccuuming, vaccum doesn’t work on some materials (floor brush head didn’t work at all on my dog’s car seat cover because the material was slippery), auto power boost is delayed by a couple seconds sometimes, floor brush head locks into upright/standing position too easily (have to kick it back down while vaccuuming), and this product lacks a wall mount, yet the vaccuum barely stands on its own. The vaccuum also came with a small blue stain on the white motor unit straight outta the box which was lame. Probably going to keep this vacuum because I don’t want to search for a new one, and it’s still a pretty good vacuum, but I’m not as happy with it as I hoped to be.

When I bought this vacuum I had look everywhere to find the right vacuum and finally I saw it and it was at Best Buy on the website and after looking at the pictures I thought I found the right device it came with the self emptying device and the battery last a long time so when I received the package I realized that it didn’t come with the emptying device and I was surprised and I even show the staff at Best Buy and he was surprised too but reading into the information and detail it said that not only it doesn’t come with but is not even compatible! I was very sad so I call Best Buy where they transfer me to a call center in Bangladesh where the people was so rude and they blame me for not reading every single word on the website and they also said it should be shark fault they haves is the info but I told them you are responsible for posting something on your website At the end they treated me so awful and hang up Honestly after all this years buying from Best Buy I think I’ll take my business and money somewhere else Very disappointed with Best Buy

The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum is really handy to help keep floors and other surfaces clean. The handheld vac can easily be removed from the wand and floor head for quick use on crumbs, etc. Cleaning the primary filters is quick and easy and the HEPA filter keeps fine dust particles contained. What’s in the Box: Main Vacuum (detachable handheld vacuum) Rechargeable Battery Wand with Storage Hook Floor Nozzle Crevasse Tool Power Supply While unboxing the vacuum I noticed a QR code for full instructions on the box flap. So naturally I grabbed a copy of that to read while giving the battery an initial charge. Assembly was a snap, literally the pieces snap securely together. The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum automatically detects different surfaces (carpet, hard floor, etc.) and edges. So far, it’s cleaned everything we’ve tried, including tracked in grit, fine dust, sock lint and spilled spices. We’ve used it on carpets, throw rugs, as well as hardwood and ceramic tile floors. We’ve also used it as a hand vac to clean up other surfaces. There are three filters. The first is a fine wire mesh that traps hair and debris, the second is a paper filter that traps fine dust particles and the third is a HEPA filter that traps pretty much everything else. I haven’t yet replaced the HEPA filter, but the first and second filters are easy to clean. The wire filter is easily accessible and cleaning the second level filter so far has been as simple as removing it and giving it a few gentle taps to remove the fine dust particles. The instructions say this second filter can be also rinsed and air dried for at least 24 hours. As an allergy sufferer, the HEPA filter is a real bonus. Do note that this stick vac is not designed to pick up liquids or sharp objects. The battery run time varies depending on if you use ECO mode. The manufacturer says the battery will last “up to 40 minutes”. So far this has not been a problem. We use it for quick cleanups not as a primary vac for the whole house. It recharges quickly and the battery is removable / replaceable. Plus, the battery charge left is clearly indicated on the handle. The vacuum is designed to make storage simple. Rather than having a top-heavy stick vacuum that falls over, this one is designed to allow you to remove the handheld vac and nest it in a holder near the vacuum floor head. It’ll stand just fine wherever you put it without toppling over. All in all, I really like this stick vacuum. It is easy to clean and store and it is powerful!

Very nice cordless vacuum. Its very simple to put together and they include a battery and a charging brick. You just put it together and charge the battery (to charge it fully the first time is recommended). Once charged you slip the battery in, the then turn on the vacuum. It has an eco mode (save energy) and an auto mode. I just prefer the auto mode. It will automatically sense how dirty the floor is and adjust suction power accordingly. Apart from that, it has several sensors. One is the one I mentioned already (detects how dirty your floor is and adjust power accordingly), another is it will detect if you are next to a wall (edge detect) and it will increase power to that edge so no debris are stuck on your wall edges (it does work, you can tell only the side facing wall lights up and speeds up faster). It also detects the type of floor your are on (i.e. carpet, hard floor etc) and auto adjusts itself accordingly. Finally is the light detect, basically illumination on the front if its very dark, so you can see what you are vacuuming. They all work and are not gimmicks at all. Real good suction and leaves my carpets super clean and the battery last for my whole home (this may vary depending on your home's size, I would recommend to keep a spare battery). The only con I could see is that they do not include many attachments, only a small attachment for hand vacuuming, but then the focus of this device is vacuuming your floors really well, which it is great at! (the attachment is good enough for me to use it on crevices and also on my sofa, near the edges where you know, some food or snacks may get trapped). Cleaning it after a job is as easy as opening the flap where the debris gets accumulated and dropping them on your trash, really easy to clean! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a simple but great cordless vacuum for your home. Get rid of the cables!

Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum Review: Lightweight with Impressive Suction The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum is a versatile and lightweight cordless vacuum that is a great choice for a variety of cleaning tasks. Here's a closer look at its features and how it performed in my home: Pros: Lightweight and maneuverable: At just 7 pounds, the Shark Detect Pro is incredibly easy to push, pull, and carry around. This makes it a breeze to clean floors throughout your house and comfortable to use for extended cleaning sessions. Strong Suction: This vacuum delivers impressive suction power, especially in Boost mode. It easily picked up pet hair, dust, and debris from carpets and hard floors. Smart Technologies: The Shark Detect Pro boasts a suite of “Detect” technologies that automatically adjust cleaning power based on floor type and the amount of dirt detected. This ensures you’re getting a thorough clean without wasting battery life. HEPA filtration: The HEPA filter traps dust and allergens, which is great for those with allergies or asthma. Converts to a handheld vacuum: The detachable handheld unit makes it easy to clean furniture, upholstery, and hard-to-reach areas. LED headlights: The LED headlights illuminate dust and debris in low-light conditions, ensuring you don't miss anything. Cons: Small dust cup: The dust cup is on the smaller side, so you may need to empty it frequently during cleanings, especially if you have a lot of pet hair or debris. Battery life: While the battery life is decent (up to 40 minutes in Eco mode), it may not be enough for very large homes. Noise level: This vacuum can be quite loud, especially in Boost mode. Overall: The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum is a powerful and versatile cordless vacuum that is a great choice for those looking for a lightweight and maneuverable option. Its strong suction, smart technologies, and HEPA filtration make it a great choice for a variety of cleaning tasks. However, the small dust cup and shorter battery life may be drawbacks for some users. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Best Buy or Shark in any way. This review is based on my own research and experience with the product.

Shark and Ninja products have generally always impressed us–they tend to be great performers that offer really good value for the money, especially when held up against their often pricier competition. This new Detect Pro cordless stick vac continues that trend by offering some outstanding performance in a feather-light form factor that makes it absolutely ideal for dorms, smaller apartments/condos, or for regular use by the elderly or others who may have difficulties muscling a heavier unit about. It’s not perfect, but it definitely earns its place on the short list of powerful cordless stick vacuums you should consider. Not that style should matter much when you’re talking about a vacuum, but the main unit of the Detect Pro is actually somewhat stylish with a combination of white, black and brass with an easy-to-read, easy-to-use LCD display at the rear. The battery pack clips into the bottom of the handle in the same fashion as a modern cordless drill; there is a small LED display on the battery itself to indicate charge status and you can charge up the battery by itself or while it is attached to the vacuum. Even with the battery installed, the handheld unit is surprisingly light and can easily be used one-handed for small/quick pick-ups; this was not really the case with the 4 year-old Shark ION F80 handheld stick vac we are still using to this day. The 8” crevice tool can be used by itself for handheld vacuuming, or you can mount it at the end of the vacuum stick for corners, edges and behind furniture without needing to bend over. But the star here is an outrageously maneuverable lighted brush head that turns the Detect Pro into a powerful upright. The head pivots and swivels making the unit almost zero-turn around table legs and corners and lays almost completely flat to get WAY under beds, cabinets, and other furniture. The front of the brush head assembly features an array of bright white LEDs that does a really solid job of illuminating dimly lit corners or areas under furniture The brush itself is an odd combination of rubber blades, soft-bristle pickups, and a deep but tightly woven velour-type roller material. Shark calls it a “self-cleaning” roller brush and that respect they’ve kind of delivered! We emptied four appallingly dense dust cups of dust, hair, and debris and yet the brush head still looked almost out-of-the-box fresh. Shark also claims the design helps keep hair from accumulating around the brush head. We have three LONG-haired women in our household and I was surprised that virtually no hair was wrapped around the brush head even after using the Detect Pro for a week straight. However, brush removal was dead simple with just a single push-button release in case you find you do need to give the roller some TLC down the road.s Shark touts several other innovations with this Detect Pro hand vac including to-the-edge vacuuming and auto surface/dirt detection. In practice, we found these features to live up to the hype. Apparently, the design of the head increases suction at the very edges of the roller brush to improve pickup along wall edges and baseboards…that was one of the first things my wife commented on after she used it for the first time. The Detect Pro function was interesting in that it really did dynamically adjust suction power and speed depending on how dirty the floor, carpet, or other surface was. There’s an LED readout on the vacuum head as well as on the main unit’s rear display that indicates whether the surface is clean (blue), dirty (yellow), or shamefully filthy (red). If you do a thorough cleaning that changes the red or yellow areas of your carpets/flooring to blue and then return to the same location later, the blue readout and subsequent lower-power sound/suction from the main unit will confirm that indeed there is no more dirt or debris to consume. You do have to be a bit reasonable in your expectations of course–there is no tiny gnome inside the brush head that instantly changes the suction power as you sprint from rugs and runners to hardwood or tile flooring; but at “typical” vacuuming speed, the Detect Pro was clearly (and effectively) altering suction and power levels to accommodate the various surfaces and carpet/rug heights and dirt levels in our home. Emptying the dust cup is another exercise in simplicity–just hold the unit over a trashcan and press the release button at the front. There is a handy mesh filter at the back of the dust cup that keeps hair and larger debris from entering the intake and motor assemblies. But to help up the cleaning ante even further, there is also a removable/washable/reusable pre-motor filter, as well as a removable/washable/reusable HEPA filter under a quick-release cover. Together, these filters supposedly trap all dust and dirt down to 3 microns in size. Controls are simple with only two buttons to worry about–one for power on/off, the other for vacuum/suction power setting. In addition to the Detect Pro’s “Auto” self-adjusting surface/dirt setting, there is an “ECO” setting that adjusts suction power a bit lower for enhanced runtime if you have light cleaning to do across a larger area. There is also a BOOST setting that turns your little hand vac into a small jet turbine for really stubborn or deep cleaning, but that extra power obviously comes at the cost of decreased runtime on the battery. Speaking of which, using only the “Auto” setting, we were able to do a full vacuuming of our master bedroom, walk-in closet, and two large area rugs before the battery ran out of juice–about 25-30 minutes of total runtime. You can monitor battery level during use with the 4-segment battery level indicator on the main display, and from our completely discharged battery to get back to 100%, it took a little over 4 hours using the supplied charger. For all the Detect Pro does and for how well it performs, there are some things that could have made this unit an even better value and stronger recommendation. For one, the lack of a brush attachment of any kind seems like a clear oversight for the asking price. I was able to use the Detect Pro’s crevice tool to suck out all the thick dust and dirt buildup on the louvers of our home’s metal air filter covers, but it would have been a LOT easier with a simple brush attachment or even just a brush collar attached to the crevice tool. The runtime is also somewhat limiting. At only 25-ish minutes or less on anything other than the lower-power ECO setting (as well as the , the Detect Pro isn’t really designed for serious, deep whole-house cleaning, though it will probably serve you well for in-between cleanings, 1-2 room cleanups, or simply staying on top of smaller living areas like an apartment or condo. Frankly, an extra battery in the box would have been an amazing pack-in as it would let you continue cleaning on a second battery that had been waiting in the wings while your first battery heads back to the charger. Unfortunately, at least as of this writing, a replacement battery pack isn’t even listed on Shark’s website as an available accessory for the Detect Pro! Hopefully this is just because the Detect Pro is so new to the market; but at the very least it would be nice to know up front how much more of an expense will be required to extend the runtime with a second battery. Finally–and this is starting to pick nits here–the integrated storage clip at the bottom of the vacuum’s stick attachment does a good job of giving you a spot to prop the hand-vac portion of the Detect Pro for storage. However, there is no place to attach, snap, or otherwise store the crevice tool with the rest of the vacuum–now there’s just another small piece of nondescript plastic we have to keep track of. We decided to use some heavy-duty Velcro to secure the crevice tool to the head itself, but given how well everything else was designed, this seems like another obvious and somewhat irritating oversight. Another such design irritant is the fact that the power and vacuum setting buttons are just slightly too high to activate with the thumb of the same hand that is holding the main Detect Pro unit. Our other Shark hand-vac is a 4 year-old Shark ION F80 MultiFLEX–it is also a convertible handheld/upright cordless unit, but the design is such that you can change the vacuum settings on the fly one-handed; the buttons on the Detect Pro are JUST a bit too far out of reach even for me, and I can easily palm a basketball. Again, it’s a small thing to be sure, but it was a design element that was appreciated on the last Shark unit and will be missed here. Overall, however, the Shark Detect Pro really DOES have a lot going for it so long as you’re not expecting all the power and cleaning time of a massive upright. Definitely recommended if you’re in the market for something lightweight yet powerful that doesn’t have to service an acre and a half of interior carpeting and floors.

Shark Is Stepping Up Its Stick Vac Game

I’ve been able to use the Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum for the better part of a week and I’m very impressed overall. I’ve been fortunate to own various stick vacs over the years from many manufacturers, and I wanted to just highlight what I really love about Shark’s take on the smart vacuum. First, Shark advertises their newest stick vac as the QuadClean machine. There are four selling points to this vacuum: (1) It will automatically adjusts power based on floor type (hard vs carpet); (2) it will automatically increase suction power when vacuuming along baseboards; (3) it has a row of LED lights to shine your path to allow you see dirt clearer; (4) DirtDetect that will automatically boost suction power when there is a higher level of dirt detected. (1), (2) and (4) are definitely testaments to its attempt at automation, and it actually does these very well. I have a mix of hardfloor and area rugs, and the Detect Pro has no problem switching power levels between floor types. It is actually very good at shaggy rugs and unlike my other stick vacuums, it doesn’t bog itself down. The cleaning head is a mixture of microfiber and hard edge bristles to satisfy both floor types. I have various low and high pile rugs and the Shark had no problems transitioning at all. The head height is relatively low and I can get it to fit underneath all of my couches. When vacuuming along baseboards, the vacuum will change its runway LEDs to only illuminate half of those closer to the wall and amp the power up to assist in collecting dirt and dust that had accumulated in those tight corners. When vacuuming over dirtier areas, the Detect Pro indicator will change colors to illustrate the amount of dirt detected, indicating that you should probably vacuum that spot just a little bit more. Red (dirty), Orange (less dirty) and Blue (clean) are your color indicators and they appear on the main unit as well as the floor cleaner head. As far as the “tale of the tape”, the Detect Pro is about 6 pounds, can hold about a tenth of a gallon of dirt and debris. Its cleaning path is about 11 inches. It’s a 15 AMP 240W system, with a charge time of about 3 hours and a maximum runtime of 40 minutes. As expected with most stick vacs, it is equipped with a HEPA filter. Does the Shark Detect Pro have suction power? Absolutely. After a few runs at home, the dirt collected was a clear indication that this machine is working. I generally keep my floors clean and it is still able to pick up dirt that I was not able to see. Speaking of seeing dirt, the one thing I truly appreciated about the cleaning head is the runway LEDs across the front of it. It’s very reminiscent of the corded vacuums with the running light. You can actually see dirt in those dark areas of your house like underneath tables, chairs and the like. It’s actually quite satisfying to see and pick up that dirt that you wouldn’t have originally seen. Since it is low power LEDs, I think the Shark engineers could afford to squeeze a tiny bit of battery power for its purpose. One other huge benefit is its ability to self clean its roller head. If you live at home with folks that have long hair, you know how hairlicious the roller heads can get on vacuums. This self cleaning head will actually get rid of the tangled hair. Nice. Battery life is advertised as 40 minutes; this is assuming you run the machine in a lower power setting from start to finish. So if you’re an all hard floor household, you will definitely benefit the most in terms of runtime. For the rest of us who have a combo hard/carpet flooring, you’ll probably squeeze 20-25 minutes. For all-carpet folks, you’d be better off running a corded machine because the Shark would automatically boost power to satisfy carpet cleaning, severely cutting your runtime. Now all these runtimes definitely depend on the size of your home. For me, living in a 2400 square foot home the Shark was able to tackle all of it in one pass. Bin size is a tenth of a gallon, or about one 12oz glass of water if you want to think of it that way. Conventional wisdom says to empty out the bin after every use, and you’ll probably have to do so with a bin this small. But I didn’t find myself emptying the bin midway though my cleaning. So, I do have ONE gripe with this machine, and it's the floor cleaning head and its ability to lock itself in a rest position. When not in use, the head’s neck locks into place to keep it standing upright. When vacuuming in tight spaces, I’ve inadvertently locked the head in this upright position without knowing…and the result is me vacuuming the floors thinking that the roller is making contact with the ground when in fact it is not. It doesn’t take long for me to realize it, but man it is quite annoying. I don’t have to worry about this with other stick vacuums I own, so I had to dock a star off for that. Another honorable mention: storage. For the life of me, I cannot get this thing to stand up against a wall when the roller is on a hard floor. On carpet, it’s fine as the carpet is enough to keep the floor head from rolling away from itself. Overall, I find this vacuum to be very well worth the price, considering its competitors are about double the price. Worried about quality?? The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum comes with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty on both parts and labor.

This new Shark cordless vac is really nice. We use it to clean our home and occasionally our parents home This vacuum is light and has a lot of suction. It is equipped with ultra-intelligent detect suite. This allows the vacuum to detect and adjust both roller speed and suction depending on the need. It has an LED light on the base and on the head that will also show you how clean the floor is. Blue=Area is Clean, Orange=Debris is being cleaned, Red=High amount of debris is detected. My experience with this is it stayed blue most of the time. You need to vacuum over larger particles to have it step to orange. It does not change colors with simple pet hair. Another cool feature is the edge detect. When using the edge of the vacuum, it detects the edge and increases suction when needed. LightDetect automatically illuminates dark spaces as needed as well. The roller is very different as well. They call it a QuadClean Multi-Surface brush. It is real soft with a couple rows of standard brush material and a couple strips of rubber. It does a great job on both carpet and hard floors. Pretty impressive. Hair does not seem to get wrapped around the roller. But if you do need to clean the roller, one push of a button allows you to slide it right out the side for easy cleaning. I also appreciate the ability to clean throw carpets without the vacuum sucking it into the roller. It does a real nice job here as well. Excellent transition between hardwood and carpet. Sharp finally got the storage right. You can disconnect the handle and hang it on the shaft of the vacuum. No more resting against the wall and dealing with the vacuum tipping over. The battery – I do wish it came with two, but it is not bad. I would say you can do about a 1500 -2000 sq. ft home on one charge. I will look to buy another when I can find one available. Emptying the canister is super easy. I have two dogs, so I need to empty it about 3-4 times per house clean. You simply press the button with the trash icon and the bottom of the canister will spring open and the dirt falls out. No need to get your hands dirty. (Make sure you are holding it over the trash can). Cleaning the filters seems easy enough when needed. I do wish that either they had brush extension on the Crevice tool or offer a separate tool that did. I do mis that when cleaning vents, base boards etc. All in all, this is a great value. Light, cleans fantastic, easy to maintain etc. Just missed on the brush tool and either a longer running, or extra battery. They would have a home run with those changes. (Minus 1 star) I would recommend it to others.

Looking at this stick vac you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s too much stick and not enough vac. It’s a lot smaller than I was anticipating, but that turns out to be an added benefit when it comes to portability and mobility. We have another vacuum from a competing company and it also detaches to be used as a handheld vac. That thing is not nearly as comfortable to use as this Shark vac, it’s heavier all around, doesn’t do as good as a job, doesn’t have nearly as long battery life, and was more expensive to boot. Go figure. On to the details! All four of the advertised features of this vacuum, DirtDetect. EdgeDetect, FloorDetect, and LightDetect worked well and seamlessly. When the surface being cleaned changed, the lag time was barely noticeable and the vacuum handled it all very well. Ditto the power ramping, where it automatically determines if it needs more suction power and adjusts on the fly. Works as advertised and works well! Not to mention, if that helps save battery then it’s an added bonus. So clever. How often do you need to do a regular cleaning of your floor (hardwoods) at max suction? Even with pets that seems unnecessary; you only need that power in certain areas. The Shark takes over and does the brain work for you. It’s great. The LightDetect feature is also something you won’t need all of the time, but you know what? It’s actually helpful even if you’re not vacuuming at midnight with the lights off. Everybody has corners and areas in their house where the overhead lights actually create shadows around furniture and shelves and whatnot. The light is actually pretty useful in those places! On the other hand, most of the time when I'm cleaning behind things where light may not reach, I'm using the crevice tool, which has no light. So, your mileage may vary but don’t write it off completely as a feature that could get some use. Overall, the vacuum maneuvers quite well and goes very nearly flat to get under shelves and tables, and unlike our other cordless vacuum, it handled pet hair on a rug easily and did not appear to put a strain on the power. (Hooray!) The battery lasted for almost the entire upstairs of the house straight out of the box, and subsequent uses when fully charged have had no issues. Emptying and cleaning the dirt cup is simple and fast. My only complaint is that the handle unit is quite long, making it a little awkward when trying to use the crevice tool in tight spaces. All in all, this is easy to recommend if it’s the right size for what you need.

I got this Shark cordless vacuum to replace a corded vacuum and was happily surprised by the features and length of time the charge lasted. The vacuum has a sensor to identify when there is more dirt on the floor and automatically turns up the suction. We have a two story and although lugging the corded vacuum wasn't a big deal, this one is much more convenient to use. You don't have to continually unplug and move the cord to a new location when you switch rooms. That alone saves time on the overall cleaning regimen. I was able to vacuum the entire house without running out of charge also, so 30-40 minutes shouldn't be a problem. I've owned a couple of cordless vacuums over the years and most of them lack the suction of a corded vacuum. Although that is true of this one also, the difference isn't as big as my previous vacuums have been. Add on the extra suction when extra dirt is detected and this one performs well against it's corded competition. Another nice feature I wasn't sure I would like was the handle. This handle is more akin to a cordless drill than a typical vacuum cleaner. I quickly got used to it and actually like this better than the alternative...maybe because I am much more familiar with a drill than a vacuum cleaner (at least that is what my wife would say). As with most stick vacuums, there is an option to use a shorter attachment to clean in tight places. One thing this one doesn't have is a brush attachment. I don't use it frequently but that would come in handy cleaning in your car or the sofa. Overall, I really like this cordless vacuum and would recommend it. Probably won't get your really deep down dirt, but for normal day to day use, it does the job well.

The Shark Cordless Detect Pro Cordless Vacuum has been the perfect addition to our regular home cleaning routine. We try to do a weekly clean up at our home. But with a 10 year old, a cat and an active family with limited time during week days, it is helpful to keep our floors clean with a bi-daily vacuuming routine. This cordless vacuum is lightweight and its design allows to go under low level furniture like couches, utility tables and chairs. It does a great job around corners and curvy areas where dirts and small particles tend to accumulate. It moves like a snake around all those ares. The sensors to detect the edges, comes very handy as it gives a little bit more power to pick dirt close to the walls or edge of heavy furniture. Any extra particles that are not picked up, are handle easily by removing the hand vacuum and do some targeted vacuuming in those spots. The feature to adjust to different surfaces, makes it easy to clean our main level, where we have hardwood floor mixed with some area rugs. I just need to move from floor to carpet from the side edge, rather than the corners to avoid getting stuck. A couple of extra features that I found convenient: - Cordless, which makes the vacuuming process easier by not having a cord on the way or a vacuum that stops working when pulling a cord - Dual functionality. The hand held vacuum can be use for targeted spots or to vacuum the card - Easy to store and efficient use of space - Easy to to clean after each use - Less noisy than our regular vacuum cleaner and very lightweight We have had this product for a couple of weeks. We are pleased with its performance in our cleaning routine of our hardwood floors and area rugs.

I love this vacuum! It's perfect for my 850 sq ft apartment. The suction is super strong. It's very light weight and doesn't get clogged with my very long hair (My last vacuum broke because of this). The battery life seems to be holding strong. I vacuumed my whole apartment and still have battery left over. I love Shark products and this makes vacuuming super easy.

I love this vacuum! It is my 2nd one since I needed one at our seasonal home. This vacuum helps me to keep our house much cleaner since it can get in to the far corners if you use just the stick. It is lightweight and cordless. I never wanted a cordless vac until experiencing this wonderful device. I use it everyday and it keeps its charge for a long time. I don’t like emptying the dirt container since if you do it wrong the dirt ends up on the floor but I hold it over the wastebasket to prevent this. I have many other vacuums and some are robots but this is definitely my favorite!

Never having owned a stick vacuum before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. This one seemed to tick all the boxes - detachable from the base to use as a dustbuster, long attachment for reaching tight spaces, supposed great suction and an LED control panel. I thought it had wet-mop capabilities, but I must've read wrong because this model actually doesn't. It was simple enough to put together, except I can't figure out how to get the handheld part to fit properly onto the storage hook that's attached to the stick? Kinda wonky, and it just falls out, so I ended up leaning it against the wall for storage. It's pretty light, easy to maneuver. The head swivels which is awesome. And it really picked up everything off my hardwood floors easily. Pet hair is my main concern and it seemed to pick it all up. Worked great in between the stove and counter / stove and refrigerator. Not a big fan of the control panel, the box reads as though it's some very unique design going on here, but it's so simple I felt a little let down! Again, never having owned one, I'm kinda neutral, not sure if there are many more bells and whistles a product like this can have? And I was really surprised at how much it retails for, not sure I would pay nearly $400 for this given it doesn't even have wet-mop capabilities. I received the Shark Detect Pro free from Best Buy to try and review, and honestly, although I really like it, I wouldn't have considered it otherwise. It's a good vacuum, I use it twice per week and to pick up quick messes. Depends on what your budget is.
