I really like this vacuum. For a long time I only purchased Hoover with the retractable cord for convenience. But it just wasn’t doing the job to tackle 4 cats and 2 humans. First I wanted a compact vacuum that had lights. I knew if I was going compact I’d have to deal with wrapping the cord. Second I wanted more control of how I used my vacuum. This you can release a wand 2 ways and control the power on the handle. And this pivots nicely, gets close to the wall, fits in tight areas. It even fits under our bed. The wand release can be a bit stiff and tricky but I like that I have multiple options. It’s also not heavy for being a powerful machine. One drawback is my hair is 18” long and after one month I have to take it apart to clean the brushes. I’ve had to do this with other vacuums every once and a while. I brush my hair in the bathroom exclusively. I the the brushes being so much smaller than most standard vacuums is where I think I’m having this specific issue. The container does fill up fast too because it’s smaller than other standard vacuums I’ve had. But it is one of the better ones. I’ll probably purchase a shark again, but a little more research for what I specifically need.

Shark lives up to its reputation on this sweeper. Great suction and the lift-off feature makes this very useful for all of our cleaning needs. Highly recommend for anyone with pets and looking for a great sweeper.

Shark is always great but I went over an area rug after just going over it with the old vacuum. The bag was almost full! It was picking up what I didn’t even see!! It’s great on hard wood floors too! I’m very happy!!

I love this vacuum! It does a great job cleaning. It is lightweight so maneuvering it is super easy. I like how quiet it is. I did not want to spend this kind of money but it was money well spent.

At first I was hesitant to get this vacuum. Ive always owned very expensive vacuum cleaners, like Electrolux and Dyson so I didnt think I would be impressed by such a cheaper model. My friend got one and said it was very good so I thought Id give it a try. I still have my other Dyson which was $600 and only a few years old. I keep the filter clean and it is in good working order. But today when I vacuumed my rarely used guest room, a room that has been vacuumed weekly with my other, the whole cup was filled with dirt and dust! The rugs even feel better underfoot, like they are fluffy and refreshed. I'm completely sold on this vac. Dont hesitate to get this little sucker!!

This is not your everyday heavy vacuum cleaner! It is lighter, easy to maneuver, and picks up everything. Also takes up less closet space. Does a great job and I really like it.

Very light and easy to use. Converts to a handheld vacuum very quick and easily. Does a very good job of picking up all types of dirt and debris.

Lightweight and easy to use. We were amazed how much more it picked up compared to our old vacuum. If you don’t require the hair cutting feature of the Apex, get this one.

The Shark is a hero! It does every floor and carpet style like it is supposed to. It's a champ on hair because it has some grooves in the roller that keep the hair moving. Maybe twice we had a little hair to cut but for us that is a huge win. Emptying it is dirty as the dirt packs in and you use your finger or a skinny long object to get it out. We live with that because it works so good. We do get it checked out by a pro at his store once a year so it is always working right. We like it.

This vacuum is so light weight and easy to maneuver in corners, take apart and use one the stairs. Really happy we picked this one replace our old shark vacuum!

Ever since I purchased this vacuum, it has made it very easy to get into hard to get spaces. The suction works very well with both my carpet and hardwood.

This is a great vacuum. It's suction can be set from light to heavy and it seems to semi self propel. No more killing your back pushing the vacuum.

Great overall vacuum for carpet and floors. Light weight but powerful. Canister is smaller and fills quickly but besides that it is excellent.

I have had Hoover vacuums for the last 20 years, but I have heard so many great things about Sharks that I decided I would give one a try. And wow. It picks up everything! And man is it light! I can very comfortably carry the entire thing across the house without any issue, and I have nerve damage in my hands and fingers, so carrying heavy objects is very difficult. Picking this up is a piece of cake! The roller does amazingly well on my hard floors. Im so happy I purchased this!

Picks up dirt I didn't know I had. Extremely powerful motor. Supposed to be light, but since I am elderly, it gets a little heavy as I use it. Fine for a younger person.

This vacuum is a great cleaning tool. The suction is marvelous, and it is not heavy and easy to maneuver.
