Really great fan. The misting function works fine in a large area, but on our smaller screen porch it puts out a bit too much moisture even on the lower misting setting. The fan provides great coverage though so we are not really needing the mist.

So I initially purchased the smaller version of this unit and I loved it. My only real gripe with that smaller version is I had to keep refilling the water tank about every 30 minutes. So I returned the small one and purchased this because it has the water tank and I thought that would solve my problem. First let me make it clear that I intended to use this "mostly" indoors like I did with the smaller one. I quickly found out that using this indoors with "mist" is not an option. On the smaller unit it has a single mist port in the middle of the fan with a kind of diffuser that turns the mater into mist. On this larger unit it has to spray ports one on each side of the fan and they just spray water out not mist. Also the cable that connects the water tank to the fan was leaking water onto my floor on top of the water just being sprayed everywhere. I was very disappointed in this purchased and did return it. I honestly would not even use this outdoors because it will cool you off but its just way too much water being sprayed out. There is no way I would be able to sit anywhere near this while like using my laptop and its just shooting water out at all my electronics. I cant put a half star but my rating for this is really like a 2.5 because it does seem welll made with a good base on it but the way it operates makes it useless to me. I rated the smaller one 4.5 stars and honestly I should have kept that unit

No water hose needed. Great for the Lanai. You control what type of water used in the device. For example, filtered or distilled.

its nice for the summer. is lil heavy but way less heavier than portable ac.

Fan works great and love the misting function. Have used at outdoor events and indoors and gets the job done.

This has worked great for us at baseball tournaments. So glad we purchased this fan we love it!
