It’s a good fan for what it is. Misting feature helps when it’s hot out but you will get soaked even on the low/intermittent setting. Downside is the battery life is poor especially when using the misting feature.

It is good unit but it is very sloppy. It doesn’t mist it sprays more than mist. The water drips everywhere.

Ihjad high hopes for this fan. It seemed versitile enough to have indoors on a stand, on a desk or in the patio with the mister. It claims you can feel the bteeze from 70 ft away but sadly the furthest yoi can feel it is 25 ft, indoors. That number drops to about t 10-15 outdoors. I wish I could say it's worth the money, but it's not so Ihad to return it.

Great idea, poor performance maybe mine was just defective it leaked a lot of water from the back tried to go through shark customer service but half way of the video call it kept falling tried several times at the end decided to return it

I got this because we like to go to campgrounds and we like to sit on our driveways during peak heat months...and we live in the Midwest where the humidity is high and the wind is still meaning the bugs swarm. Over the years we've made our own contraptions similar to this. We've used hose hookup misters at the houses, but the campgrounds were always hit and miss. This seems like a great solution for both. When the box arrived, I was surprised by how big it was. Unsure if it was all packaging or if the fan was really that big, I opened it to find that yes, the fan really is a lot bigger than I was thinking it would be. It comes disassembled, but I put it together in about 5 minutes. Everything is snap or screw together with the exception of a single bolt to the stand and that's a hex head with a provided Allen wrench. Looking at it I noticed a couple things I really liked: 1. The battery is stored inside the fan itself so no external electrical connections or extra parts to lug around. 2. The remote is magnetically stored on the back of the fan so you can quite literally carry a single piece of hardware for just the fan. 3. The water connector is a quarter turn (or similar) connection piece and doesn't require lining up or spinning it like a typical garden hose. 4. The remote control is optional as all functions are also on the fan itself. 5. The tube between the fan and the stand works as a stand alone pedestal so you can adjust it as you go instead of worrying about what to take with you. 6. The water pitcher mounts to the bottom of the base or the hose can be disconnected to let it sit next to the table top version. Seems like a small thing, but it's very nice to have that flexibility. It is a sturdy product so it will actually work outdoors in the elements, not just on the back patio. The stand is heavy enough to weigh the fan down for your typical day, but in high winds I might run into trouble. Still, you can only make it so heavy and still portable so I can't fault it for that. The fan is pretty versatile. It has modes beyond high, medium, and low. There are also "boost" modes where it cycles the fan for the mister part. I'm not sure how much difference it'll make, but I do know that one common issue with other products has been getting enough cool air without drenching us. You cycle through the modes through the remote or on the fan and they have indicator lights to tell you the current mode. All niceties. The fan itself is quiet so you can carry on a conversation without speaking extra loud. Even when we've used box fans, we've had to increase our volume around the circle and this one will not require that so much appreciated. There is one weakness that we've seen so far and one thing that would be nice to improve. Weakness: the fan is quiet and runs fairly fast, but the air speed will not be enough cool very many people outside because it'll have to be fairly close (within a couple feet) to get good airflow. It says you'll feel it up to 7 feet and I think that's fair for indoors, but definitely not outdoors. The exchange for quiet. However, I do think the mister will work up to about 4 feet away and provide some much needed cooling (and bug deterrent). Improvement: the oscillation is about 180 degrees. Fairly typical for an oscillating fan I think, but it would be nice to have it go close to 340 degrees (as an option) so you can have it in the middle of a circle and everyone gets the benefit. That would allow the mister hose to not get tangled, but still cover 95% of the circle. Overall, I'm happy with it and think we'll be using it a lot during the peak summer hours. I can also see our friends buying their own once they see how this one works. Midwest summers are brutal, but this will definitely give us more comfortable outside time.

I cannot wait to use this fan in the summer. It is a nice, well-made fan. Everything about it is great, including the fan base; it feels well-made and sturdy. It was packaged well, so it came free of damage. I love that you can use this fan on a tabletop or with a stand. The fan head can be converted for tabletop use by opening up the handle, becoming a fan stand. The fan head also has a charging port right underneath it, so you don't have to have it attached to the base to charge. The pedestal also has a charging port, which is another option for charging. My only issue is I cannot see how much is left of the battery. The only way to know is the color of the lights. If the light is green, you are at about 70-100% of the battery. Yellow is 30-69%, and red is 29% and below. A blinking red light shows that the fan is almost dead. It says it takes about 5-6 hours to charge the fan, but you can charge it while still using it. I charged it for about 3 hours and used it for half of the day, and I'm still in the green. I did not have it plugged in while in use, and it was on low air. I also used it outside with the mist, and it was on high for about 30 minutes and is still on green. I highly recommend reading the manual to figure out the fan speeds. The display of lights has certain patterns for different modes. The fan's speed is your typical 1 for low and 5 for high speed, but the outdoor mist, oscillation, and breeze modes have different light patterns for each setting. One other really cool feature about this fan is the remote and how it magnetically attaches to the back of the fan head. What a beautiful, thought-out feature for modern households with remotes galore to control all sorts of gadgets around the house. It's so easy for remotes to get lost in a world with so much technology and items that can be controlled by remotes. The set-up was so easy. It comes with an owners guide that gives step-by-step instructions and each part had yellow stickers that showed where each part is supposed to go. The water canister is pretty large so you dont have to refill as often during those hot summer days when using the fan with the mist. The mist setting has a perfect amount of mist coming out of the fan from high pressure to low. The fan also circulates from a 45 degree angle to 180 degree angle. It is also very quiet for a fan that has so many features to it. One of the most annoying things on a hot day is a loud fan while trying to watch television or have a conversation. I would def recommend this fan to everyone.

I found that the mister was blowing sizable droplets and not a fine mist. So, I was soaked, and not misted. Also, the fan only lasted an hour on battery power with or without misting on.

This product, Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan, is amazing! I am so glad to have this before the hot weather starts. We had a friend over last night and she was so impressed when I showed her how it works. She sent me a text today that her husband was excited too and she just ordered one for them. This looks elegant and feels sturdy and solid. Set up was quick and simple. I glanced at the quick setup that came with it but didn’t even need it as it was self-explanatory. The box cover shows all the products inside the box and the other side shows other bonus accessories. There was a small clip included that the box cover didn’t mention. There is a QR code, which I scanned and it took me to full instructions and available videos. This is where I found out that the little clip snaps into the pole. I plan to buy the fan cover for end-of-season storage. It comes with a small remote control that is magnetized and fits perfectly in the back of the fan. It still stays in place while removing the fan, which is a nice plus. You can use it plugged in or cordless. The light warns you when the battery is getting close to needing to be charged. You can use it as a tall fan or as a small tabletop fan. It is so easy to switch back and forth and it just takes a couple of seconds. This fan oscillates and tilts with better options than my other fans. You can attach the small water tank to the fan, whether it is used as a tall or shorter fan. The light display on the fan indicates the different options you are using. The most exciting part of this for me is the misting option for outdoor use. It has three misting options, high or low the whole time or interval misting. Even though it wasn’t a hot day, the kids had a ball outside getting close enough to feel the mist. As I tried to move further away from the fan, I could still feel the mist. I am so looking forward to the warm weather. The kids don’t mind being outside no matter the weather but I’m now looking forward to spending even more time outside this summer with this great fan and having friends and neighbors over. This comes with everything you need to use the fan and there is an option to buy a garden hose attachment if you prefer to hook it up there instead. I’m seriously thinking about purchasing this because we love to spend time on our deck and backyard so that might be a great treat. I would 100% recommend this.

Could use more power for indoor fan mode outdoor mist is pretty good

You cannot use the mist indoors. When it was used, it leaked all down the base and on the floor. Not because there was a problem, just because that's what water does when it builds up: it binds together in drops. I was better off with a spray bottle fan. Very disappointed

Without any opportunity for convection, this product is not suitable for the North Carolina humid environment. Even at the lowest setting, the most you could feel is the immediate coolness of the water hitting your face, only to feel it dribble down your face afterwards. I honestly would have kept it had there been in fact two fans as it appeared on the box. But this was not so, needless to say my disappointment was multiplied by a factor of 10. Disappointing purchase all the same.
