    Not for humid weather

Without any opportunity for convection, this product is not suitable for the North Carolina humid environment. Even at the lowest setting, the most you could feel is the immediate coolness of the water hitting your face, only to feel it dribble down your face afterwards. I honestly would have kept it had there been in fact two fans as it appeared on the box. But this was not so, needless to say my disappointment was multiplied by a factor of 10. Disappointing purchase all the same.

Design and Setup The FlexBreeze Pro Mist is pretty good looking fan, and it’s built to handle both indoor and outdoor use because the plastic has some strength to it. It’s lightweight enough to move around easily but sturdy enough to feel durable. Setting it up is simple: unfold the legs, plug it in, and attach the water hose if you’re planning to use it outdoors. The setup is quick and straightforward with very few steps, and that’s necessary for this kind of appliance. When comparing the plastic quality to other items, I’d say it’s above average in plastic quality and durability. This is not a discount store fan, but it’s also not one that would be in a high end department store lux goods area. I imagine it would fit the bill however if they made a metal unit with the same design lines, and that tells you it is Performance and Features This fan is pretty strong. It has a few speed settings, just like any other fan. The 90-degree tilt and 180-degree rotation make it easy to direct the breeze exactly where you need it, whether you’re cooling down a room or an outdoor patio. The oscillation feature spreads airflow across an arc of space and it doesn’t hang out at either far ends of the range, which is a massive plus for me because it’s a pet peeve of mine for fans to hang out too long at the end of their movement! The misting feature is what really stands out here. It connects easily to a garden spigot and has an option to connect to a 2 liter bottle or a 16 oz water bottle, which is great for hot outdoor days. The mist is fine and cooling without making everything wet, which is a big plus if you’re one of those who use an electronic device like a Steam Deck or laptop outside while you’re lounging. Ease of Use The controls are simple and easy to understand, with actual buttons for power, speed, oscillation, and misting. I really dislike screens on an item like this so it increases it’s lux level in my eyes when it as straightforward to use. It also comes with a remote control, which makes changing settings fast and easy when you’re sitting across the room or yard. The cordless option is powered by a rechargeable battery that lasts a whole afternoon and evening on low settings—though higher speeds or using the mist will drain it faster. The built-in handle makes moving it around effortless, but its still bulky and heavy when it’s full of water. Opinion High speeds are about as noisy as other fans, and slightly more noisy when using the water. It’s not unbearable but noticeable if you’re in a quieter setting indoors. I didn’t notice at all once I was outside with it. Also, the misting hose could be longer for outdoor use—it limits how far you can place the fan from your water source unless you get an extension. Get one of those quick connect sets and you’ll be fine taking it on and off your garden hose and swapping with your yard nozzle. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist is a pretty nice fan that works just fine indoors but excells outdoors. Its combination of strong flow, misting, and portability makes it perfect for beating the heat outside on your patio or deck or even if you take this camping. Better buy one before the season because this one is probably going to be very popular. Highly RECOMMENDED!

Love everything about this fan except for the misting feature. It’s more of an obnoxious spray than a comfortable mist. Do not recommend for that reason. I have other misting fans that don’t just make my clothes soaked.

This review is on a Shark - FlexBreeze Pro Mist - Indoor & Outdoor Fan FA302 with Misting System, Corded or Cordless. I have seen misting fans at places like restaurants and games but never seen one sold for home use. This is exactly what I have been wanting and you too probably. Let me tell you, the ability to put ice in the bucket to make the water cold feels soooo gooood on a hot day. It will quickly cool you off. I was worried that being outdoors, it would collect pollen and dust on the blade. It didn't appear at first I would be able to clean it but there is a screw under it that you can remove and then twist the grill off, giving you the ability to clean everything. The water nozzles easily screw off to allow you to soak them in vinegar to remove any hard buildup. Make sure to drain the fan of any water by unplugging the water cord and allowing it to continue to run until it stops misting. The remote easily attaches to the back of the fan magnetically. The fan has 3 misting modes. High-pressure consistent, low-pressure consistent and low-pressure interval. The fan has 5 speeds, a speed boost and wind simulator. It can turn 45 up to 180 degrees and point up or down. The height is fixed though. When you put everything together, plus the water, the fan is rather heavy. Just the fan by itself is light and the ability to take this anywhere without a plug is just awesome. I was also surprised at the noise level. You can't hear it on the lowest level and is still pretty quite on the highest level. It produces a very nice strong wind on high level. This is really a great fan to own even just for indoor use.

The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Indoor/Outdoor fan is a rechargeable fan with misting. The fan has 2 mounting options, a pedestal and a tabletop mode. The tabletop legs fold and fit inside the pedestal mount making assembly/disassembly unnecessary. The battery is claimed to last in fan only mode as long as 24 hours using the lowest speed and 2 hours using the highest speed. The battery life decreases as other features such as oscillate or mist are used. The fan has a breeze boost mode that gives maximum breeze. There are also natural breeze and gentle breeze modes. shark claims that breeze can be felt for 70 feet away. While I haven't had an occasion to test the fan at 70 feet, My front courtyard is about 40 feet across and breeze and mist feel great at that distance. There is a remote control that controls many of the fans functions and mounts to the fan magnetically. The first time I used the fan I was hot and sweaty from washing our cars. I brought the fan on the pedestal a few feet from my chair and turned it on the 2nd lowest power mode. I was surprised at how quiet it was and how much breeze it generated on a low setting. I haven't taken the time to explore all of the many features this fan offers, the fan only mode and the fan plus mist mode have more than satisfied my needs so far. The fact that it can work plugged in or anywhere on battery power is nice. I envision using it while fishing, tailgating, cooking on the patio and working in the garden. My wife wants to take it to the pickleball court.

Man this is a cool fan! I now own two of these, the first edition which hooked up to a hose, and this one which features a portable reservoir. Both have the same pros - SUPER cool and modern design. Portability and flexibility to go from a pedestal fan to a table top or floor fan. Pretty quiet for the amount of air they move, too! I thought I'd prefer the portable reservoir over the hose version, but I'm leaning more towards the latter, just because if you're in a place longer than expected and aren't able to refill it, you lose that cool mist! It hadn't been really warm yet in San Diego, but over this last weekend and even through today, it's getting close to 80. I'd taken this with me to a kids' basketball practice outdoors and the court didn't have much shade. The girls were SOOO HAPPY I brought this! I set it near the bench, but it ran out of water on the low setting in maybe an hour and a half? There wasn't anywhere in this park to refill it, so I'll just keep that in mind going forward. I use the other one in my backyard alot when it's hot, my pets like to lie under it on the back patio, and it won't run out of water.

    The Fan for Maximalists

Shark products are almost a meme at this point for how gleefully they will overengineer even relatively simple concepts. So it should come as no surprise that the FlexBreeze Pro Mist is perhaps the most complicated and feature rich electric fan I have ever seen. The sheer range of capabilities and operating modes that come with is such that even after almost a week spent playing with it I'm pretty confident there are more waiting to be discovered, which is both a blessing and a curse. First let's drill into the positives. So long as you can find the space for it, there is pretty much no use case for a fan that this can't conceivably fill. It can cover a surprisingly large volume with as much or as little air as you might want, and seems consciously designed to be as invisible as possible while doing it. The motor is whisper quiet at lower modes and it offers a rather interesting party trick where it can pseudorandomly adjust its speeds to simulate the ebb and flow of a natural breeze, which I have to admit is surprisingly comfortable when you're just sitting inside reading while it rains outside. What's more the option to run it either from wall power or off of a generous internal battery means you never really need to worry about placement either. The optional mister also gains points for having most of the parts that are more likely to require maintenance or periodic cleaning easily accessible and, in some cases, completely replaceable - something that seems essential for a fan of this quality that will hopefully keep being used for many years to come. It hasn't really been hot enough yet for me to really put this function through its paces but even without it it's remarkably good at cooling things down, so I imagine on hot summer days it would be the height of luxury to set up at a barbeque or camp site. That said there is one notable downside that needs to be addressed: bulk. Even in its smaller configuration, the fan is pretty awkward to place and move around. The addition of the battery makes the head a lot deeper than you'd usually expect for its radius, and the pedestal (while well built) has a very generous footprint that makes it clumsy to deal with, particularly if you're also carting around a full water tank. It's also got no provision to adjust the height of the pedestal, only to angle the fan. This can create some awkward scenarios where an obstacle forces you to point the head to the sky at which point you're not getting nearly as much air moving over people. It's certainly not something everyone's going to run into, but in my case it seemed to be almost exactly as tall as various bushes and lawn furniture so it did cause some annoyance. I don't think these are issues that would ever rise to the level of deal breakers for most, but I do think it's worth checking you can actually find the space for it before getting too excited. Overall the fan is a very easy recommendation for a very particular kind of person. While it definitely works great both indoor and outdoors, I feel like it skews a bit further towards the latter use case. In my mind it's probably really going to shine for those who are perpetually outdoors in climates which seem determined to make the argument for air conditioning - where it could be a real game changer set up in a sunroom, patio, or backyard.

The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist is the fan I didn't know I needed. When the weather turns nice, I love to spend time outside in our backyard. However, living in Las Vegas provides a very short window of being able to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot. Our backyard gets the afternoon sun, which causes it to get very hot on our patio. We have a patio cover and have talked about getting a misting system installed. However, every misting system I've seen leaks somewhere. We also have hard water here in Vegas so I didn't want to have to deal with the leaks creating hard water stains on our patio and decor. When I saw this fan, I knew I had to give it a try. It was fairly easy to set up, without the instructions. Once put together, I was left with one piece where I didn't know where it belonged. I referred to the manual, but it didn't even list the piece as what was included. I scanned the QR code and watched one of the included videos. It turns out it was a piece that snaps on to the bottom of the pole to hold the excess water hose once it's installed. The fan is powerful, while also having the ability to be subtle. It has the powerful Breeze Boost mode, as well as the Natural Breeze mode. Even the Natural Breeze mode has 2 different strengths - strong and gentle. As with most fans, it oscillates and, using the handle, you can manually adjust the vertical angle of the fan. With the water tank full and attached, it also has a very cooling misting function. The misting ranges from high-pressure consistent mist to low-pressure consistent to low-pressure interval mist. One thing is for sure, it's best to use the misting feature outside. It does have a tendency, over time, to get the floor a bit damp. There are two other features that, I think, really makes the fan stand out against the competition. First is the ability for this fan to be used on the included floor stand or, when you remove the fan from the stand, on the tabletop. When it's on the floor stand, it's about 36" tall. The second great feature is the fact that the fan can operate wirelessly. Need to do some yard work outside? Just charge up the fan and you can take wherever you need it. The average run time, just in fan mode, is about 6 hours on speed 3. When using the mist mode, the average run time is 4 hours on high-pressure consistent mist with fan speed 3. Overall, this is an awesome fan. I can't wait to entertain our friends this summer in our backyard, and being able to sit there comfortably with overheating.

The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan is an extremely versatile, quiet fan that can be used in several applications, both indoor and outdoor! It has a compact form factor that most takes up less space than must upright fans that I have used. This fan is super quiet! The fan can be powered via the included power cable, but it also has a battery inside that allows it to operate independent of the power cable. This means you can take the fan along with you or you can use it even when the power goes out. The fan has several different power levels ranging from low through high as well as an intermittent breeze setting. You can adjust the up and down angle of the fan manually. You can also use the included magnetic remote to adjust the oscillation of the fan to get that breeze broadcasted across the room just right. The fan includes a water tank and has two spray nozzles on the front. This allows you to, in outdoor areas, blow a light mist and help cool off on those hot days! I really liked this feature. The one downside is that, when using the mist blower nozzles, if you use the intermittent setting, you will end up with water running down the front of the fan and landing on the pedestal/floor beneath the fan. This is due to the fan shutting the water off and turning it on over and over. The fan itself disconnects from the pedestal and has folding feet that let you set it up on a table. My only complaint is that the battery life could be longer. When using it on battery only and with the fan on a high setting, it doesn't last as long as I feel it should. Add in the water misting function and you'll certainly want to keep it plugged into a power source. All in all, you will be hard pressed to find a fan with this many features at this price point!

I am extremely impressed with the Shark FlexzBreeze indoor/outdoor fan and it has quickly become my new bedroom fan. With the option of being used corded or cordless it is easy to grab the whole fan and load it into my vehicle for use while picnicking or camping outdoors. I can easily pull the fan portion, put it in my car, and take off for the day with no worries. Once I am at my location you just pop out the foldable legs and set the fan on either the ground or a table and you've got cooling air quickly and easily. If I need a little more cooling I make sure to bring the water tank and put the fan into misting mode and I've got a cooling mist helping me enjoy hot outdoor days. One of the most impressive features, in my opinion, is the fully featured remote that is included and easily attaches to the fan head. In an age where companies are making remotes practically useless just to create a bare-bones app that farms your data, Shark has instead made a remote that actually has more features and options available for controlling the fan then are available on the fan itself. I am extremely impressed with this fan and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for even just a replacement floor fan, but even better the fact that this is portable and includes a misting option make this an easy buy in my opinion.

Shark puts out innovative, quality products. I’ve had several of their products, like vacuum cleaners and have always been happy with them. This is no less true with their FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan. It’s super versatile since it can be used wirelessly and indoors or outdoors. Initial setup was simple. The one drawback might be the weight of the fan (especially when the water reservoir is full). That makes it a little trickier to move but it also provides stability so it’s a bit of a trade off. Living in California, we tend to get drier heat in the summer. I live in an area where temps can reach 110+ degrees but with low humidity. I cannot wait to use this fan during those days (and warmer nights). It made working both inside and outside so much more comfortable as I just had it running wherever I was working. Took it from my house to my backyard to my garage. Kept me from overheating (which I’m prone to do) and just made getting work done so much more comfortable. I’m not a big camper, but I can also see this being a fantastic addition for those that do go camping. You can buy a separate car charger and since it can run on battery, you can have it just about anywhere.

I own many shark and ninja products. They are some of my favorite brands with long lasting dependable products at a good price. I wanted to wait to write this review as we just had our first couple warmer days here in Texas. I wanted to test the water sprayer cooling as that's the star of the show here and it didn't disappoint. There are several spray and fan settings. They worked well. The misting does exactly what you would expect and helps keep you cool. I positioned the fan about 5 feet away which gives you enough to keep cool but not be soaked. I would caution having devices close though without some kind of water rating. The rechargeable battery states it will run about 20 minutes with the misting function and I got about 22 minutes both times. Great in a pinch but best to plan on needing a plug as battery technology is what it is. It's very portable with the great foldable leg design but not so much with the base attached which is understandable. It's a great product especially for a smaller porch or apartment where room is limited. The sprayers are powerful enough probably to cover a larger area also but I wasn't able to test what a realistic range would be. Well worth it.

Right out of the box, it was crystal clear that this is not your average portable fan. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist screams premium from the get-go, with a solid build and thoughtful design made for both indoor comfort and outdoor toughness. Whether chilling on the patio or in the Florida sun at a dance comp or soccer game, this fan is must. It comes with a sturdy pedestal base for standing tall, plus a tabletop tripod option that adds even more versatility. It also comes with a water tank attachment if you want to crank the misting feature for the ultimate outdoor cooling experience. Now, I picked this up specifically for those blazing hot outdoor events. My kids’ sports and dance competitions are no joke, especially here in Florida where the humidity is always trying to outdo itself. I needed something that could actually make a difference in those miserable moments where shade alone just isn’t cutting it. This fan absolutely delivered. I’ll be honest, it’s not the most compact fan on the market, but that’s kind of the point. It’s a little bulky, yes, but that heft translates to serious performance. It’s got a built-in handle for easier carrying and honestly, once you get used to it, the portability trade-off is totally worth it. Especially considering this beast runs on battery power for extended sessions without needing to be plugged in. That’s a huge win in my book. The included wireless remote is also a slick bonus. Works surprisingly well even from a good distance, so I don’t have to be right next to it to make adjustments. Super handy during games or while sitting poolside. In terms of performance, the airflow is phenomenal. Even from a distance, the breeze is strong and consistent, and the oscillating function helps cover a wide area, which is perfect when you’re sharing the cooling power with others. The cooling mist feature is going to be a crowd favorite at our next pool party. I’ve tested it out and while I haven’t used it at full potential just yet, I can already tell it’s going to make those outdoor gatherings way more bearable. One thing I didn’t expect was just how quiet this fan is. Even cranked up to full speed, it hums along without making a fuss. That means you can still chat, enjoy music, or listen to the game without competing with fan noise like with those large orange industrial fans. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan is a beast in disguise, quiet, powerful, and built like a tank. I appreciate how well it holds up in different settings. Sure, it’s a bit bulky, but when it’s this effective and runs on battery? That’s a trade-off I’ll make every time. If you’re looking for a high-end, portable fan that can handle Florida heat and then some, this Shark fan is a cool investment, pun intended.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for for YEARS! I’ve looked at outdoor patio fans, garage fans, even barn fans for livestock and nothing really ever checked all the boxes or fit what I needed and wanted until I got this! Once the weather warms up and summer begins, we are outside every chance we get including each evening. We swim, cook, eat and relax on our patio, so having this fan has been the missing piece for me for a long time! There’s nothing better than sitting down and turning on the fan after being in front of the hot grill cooking for everyone! The mist feature is amazing! It really helps cool me down when I’m hot! Also, This fan is feature packed with more modes and power levels than I’ve seen on others including oscillation, variable fan speed, and even strong and gentle natural breeze. One of the benefits I recently noticed while using this fan the other evening is the breeze from it helps keep the bugs off! It’s something I didn’t even think about until my wife called it out, but that makes it even better! No flies or mosquitoes landing on me when I’m relaxing outdoors now. It’s honestly a must have for patio season and I highly recommend it!
