The FlexStyle is a really innovative hair dryer that offers a lot of options for styling, convenience, and travel. As a guy with long hair, my main use for this is travel. It lets me bring both a blow dryer and a brush in one tool, which is perfect for me. I travel a lot for work, I hate hotel blow dryers, and I somehow always forget my brush, so this will be a huge upgrade. I did try the air curl function, but my hair is very fine and “wispy,” as my wife calls it, so I didn’t have much luck getting good curls. My wife was really interested in this feature and tried it several times too, but she didn’t get the results she was hoping for either. Her hair is extremely thick and dense, and while she could get the curls to hold, they came out more like tight ringlets, which isn’t the style she wanted. The device does require swapping the curler between left and right attachments, which can be a little confusing at first. That said, switching attachments is very easy, and the whole system is designed well. Everything twist locks into place smoothly, and it feels solid. We both love the color of this dryer, it’s a beautiful almost sapphire blue, and I can’t imagine a nicer color choice. The shape and overall feel are great too. The drying power is plenty strong for me with long, thin hair, but for my wife it wasn’t quite powerful enough. All in all, I think most people will appreciate this dryer and get the results they’re looking for. For both of us it came up a little short in the styling department, but even so, it’s become my new travel blow dryer, and for that purpose it’s basically perfect.

In the box you get the Shark FlexStyler Dryer, 2 1.25 curlers (left and right), and an oval brush attachment. The SharkFlexStyler Dryer is the most powerful dryer I have ever used in my life. I thought it was pretty cool though because it actually dried my hair in no time flat. This was without any of the attachments on it. I just wanted to try it without the attachments and it was super strong. The curling attachments are 1.25 each. There is one that turns left and one that turns right. This is automatic, and it’s really cool. The brush attachment is oval and I love it. It makes my hair so shiny, dries it, and puts a little bit of curl in the ends all at the same time. The great thing about this styling system is that it curls and straightens your hair while drying it. It uses no direct heat at all, just air as it’s drying it and yes, hot air, but not like putting your hair directly on a hot iron. It makes all the difference in the world. The curls hold very well too. The con for me is that I have really thick hair and it takes me forever to do my whole head of hair, but that is with any styling system. I give this 5 of 5 stars, because it’s that good of a system.

I got the Shark - FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System, Powerful Hair Blow Dryer and Multi-Styler - Straight & Wavy Hair for my wife who has been looking at this model and one form the competition. All it took was using the device once. This device if the real deal. It styles hair easily and dry’s hair very quickly. There are three attachments, one for the left side, one for the right side, and a brush. Additionally, you can use the it as a regular hair dryer. You can adjust the angel of the end for easy handling and controlled air direction. There are 3 speeds of air flow and 3 temperature settings. My wife loved how her hair felt after suing and the styled look. Hair does not come out freezy or dry. Your hair will look shiny and natural. If you are looking for an advanced product without the hefty advanced price, the Shark - FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System, Powerful Hair Blow Dryer and Multi-Styler - Straight & Wavy Hair is the item for you. The more my wife uses this, the more she likes it! I storngly recomend you consider this!

Love!! It dries hair fairly quickly and the different attachments make it convenient to switch between drying, smoothing and curling. The auto wrap curlers work well once you get the hang of them, tho there is a bit of a learning curve. I like that it uses lower heat than other styling tools and my hair doesn't feel dry after using it. It's perfect!!! It's still a bit of investment, but overall it's practical option if you want one tool that can do it all instead of having multiple tools.

Bought this for my 16 year old daughter. She loves it! So easy to use. She has very thick, very long hair. It dries it quickly and then switches out the attachment and creates wavy hair. It looks like she had it done at a salon and is not hard for her to manage! I would for sure love to buy another one for myself.

I love it! A few design flaws but works wonderfully and saves me time drying my long, fine but thick hair! Haven't mastered curling yet, but I will! Bought on sale, worth every penny!

I have really long hair and it takes forever for it to dry. This blow dryer has a lot of air pressure, so it actually dries really quickly. When I use the brush, it is nice that it has a place at the end to stabilize the brush with out me burning my fingers. It is really really loud though even for a blow dryer. It has like a high pitch whistle. I end up just using it on the second speed because the whistle isn't as loud when you go down in speed. My husband uses it and it doesn't bother him one bit at full blast. It also seems pretty sturdy when changing the angle. Since my hair is so long, I end up hold the blow dryer at the very end of the wand. I have to be careful because I end up covering the intake vent.

The indigo color is deep and rich, it fits well in my wife's hand, the ability to turn 90* or stay a straight is a big bonus. Serious air flow, attachments are easy to lock in and take off, Already looking at some new attachments for her particular needs, but this set definitely works well with what's in the box.

Best hair dryer/styling tool ever. I love the long lasting curls, or if I just want gentle curls the brush is perfect. The dryer function is amazing in that I can direct it where I want the air to go and it doesn’t disrupt the already styled sections.

Shark never disappoints! This Shark Flex-hair is easy to use with just a little patience. My hair is past the shoulder and once I got the knack of the buttons and just how much hair to grab, it was a breeze to curl and lasted 2 days.

This heats up very fast and saves me a lot of time. I love how versatile it is and how easy it is to use for different tasks. It feels well made and works exactly as expected. Definitely a great purchase and worth the money.

I love this hair dryer! So easy to use and gives a great blow out look. I also use the round brush attachment for when I don’t want to use the curling attachment, that way I at least get a straightened look. It just takes practice!

In my family, thick hair is the name of the game. On BOTH sides. It has its plusses and minuses. One of the minuses is the ability to style it. Without tons of concrete-level hold products most styling is lost within 3 hours. That's not a huge problem for me, but I have a 10 year old daughter who has grown increasingly frustrated by this. So we've researched and web searched and gone back and forth with stylists on how best to get her hair to behave the way she wants. One such product, or rather series of products, that'd been recommended more than once are the FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System packages offered by Shark. The dryer / multi-styling tool itself is fantastic. It can move tons of air very fast, which is often more important than the temperature of that air if you're looking to get your hair dry as quickly as possible. Full marks here. Love what it achieves, especially as such a compact unit. The curlers do work and work well, though they do take a bit more practice than I was expecting. The good news is than once you get the hang of it, the results can be fabulous (see attached image). The brush attachment, while I can confidently say it does volumize, I can't say I agree with the defrizzing claims Shark makes in their product description. Perhaps I still need some more practice with the it, but I'm finding that using it tends to result in more frizz than if I dry using a standard old hairbrush. All in all it's been real fun working with this styling system. It took some practice, but I can confidently say that it is mainly as advertised. I will reiterate, however, that if you're a member of the thick hair club, you shouldn't expect styling with this to last too long without also mixing in a ton of hair spray. That's not really Shark's problem though, I suppose.

This dryer works fast and does a great job of curling straight hair that will last all day! I love this so much I bought another one for my each of my daughters!
