It handles all types of floors and is great with pet hair. With 2 dogs and a cat, we a vacuuming, mopping, and constantly cleaning. This 3-1 makes it a breeze. The self cleaning feature is also a huge bonus.

Lightweight but Powerful

There is a self cleaning mode as well, if you'd prefer that method, however I prefer to manually clean every so often. It's not extremely loud, and cleans the floors nicely. The really neat thing about it is there is a button that turns on "rug cleaning mode" when you press it, so you can alternate between hardwoods and rugs/carpets. I tested it out on a rug, to see what it did, and the rug was damp afterwards. The brush is very soft, so I don't know how good it would be for stains, but for refreshing rugs, I think this would do the job. The dirty water tank is small, however, I was able to mop my kitchen and sitting room without emptying the tank. The convenience and compactness of it is ideal for moving around the house. It's so easy to use that even my kids can manage it. In addition, it's very sleek looking, with silver and a light blue. If you're looking for an easy to use vacuum, get this one!

The downside I have is that in my limited storage space, we don't have any outlets, so storing it somewhere that it can charge at the same time has been a little problematic and clunky. It is likely a personal problem with our floorplan though :)
