    Better than I hoped.

Doesn’t leave my hair frizzy! I don’t know about drying it faster than a Dyson but does dry my very thick hair pretty fast. I always get compliments on my hair after washing and using the Shark hair dryer. Good investment.

Absolutely love this blow dryer! The brush head is amazing and works so well! It is a little heavier then a normal blow dryer but it works faster so you are not holding it as long!

I’m impressed with the quality and features of this hair dryer. The styling brush has been especially good for my long slightly wavy hair. It’s easy to use and doesn’t create static. I’m lazy about sectioning my hair, and it still performs well. It’s also quick. When I’m rushing to get out of the house, anxious about beating traffic, this makes styling my hair very easy and fast. It’s a very sturdy machine, heavy and looks to be well made. The weight is actually good and bad. If you have a small counter, the weight makes it difficult to balance on the side of the sink. It also could be awkward for people with smaller hands. The cord is thick and heavy duty, so coiling it for storage is challenging, but I appreciate that it has an attached strap. Its bulk is actually the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I find it hard to store, and that’s important to me.

    Powerful little dryer

This dryer is not large in size but it sure is powerful, so much so that I kept it on low speed because other wise my hair was blown all over the place. I kept it on medium heat, it was too hot on high. There are three heat & speed settings and a cold shot button to lock in your style. It’s fairly lightweight & the two included attachments snap on/off pretty easily. The 2 in 1 concentrator nozzle has a slider button to control the flow. The brush attachment rotates & it worked great for my bangs but I found it a bit clunky & hard to use otherwise. I have naturally curly hair & it’s been very humid here lately & this did smooth out my hair & make it shiny. If a diffuser was included that would’ve been great but it’s sold separately As a hairstylist, I’m always looking for a good dryer & this ranks pretty high, can’t wait to try it out on my clients.

The ONLY reason this didn’t get five stars is because it’s a little heavier than I was hoping it would be. I’m a professional and this dryer works amazingly and dries my hair super fast. I love the attachments as well.

I wish I could give more than five stars for this blow dryer. It has saved me so much time, and it has made my hair so soft and manageable. The adjustable temperature and wind speed options make it simple to dry my hair straight out of the shower or even after it has air dried for a while. The concentrator attachment keeps my hair from getting frizzy fly aways and lets me style my hair with a round brush if I’m in a hurry. The brush attachment gives my hair so much volume at the roots. One huge benefit is that it’s so lightweight and doesn’t make my arm feel like it’s going to fall off after just a few minutes of use. I thought long and hard for something negative or critical to say and literally could not come up with anything. I’ve already recommended this to several friends. You’d be crazy not to try it!

A good hairdryer for no heat damage

I've been using this for about a week and it's still taking me some time to get used to. It's super sleek and comes with a concentrator and styling brush tool. I've mainly been using the concentrator tools (there's 2 'modes' on the tool itself, one for precision and one for pre-styling) and it works pretty well. My hair seems a little smoother and isn't as frizzy. It drys my hair fast, but not faster than any other hairdryer I've used. I have thinner, shoulder-length hair, so either way, it takes my hair at most 10 minutes to completely dry. I will say so far I don't seem to see any signs of heat damage, which is the biggest thing I cared about. I've been trying to cut the amount of damage I do to my hair, so I have high hopes for this hairdryer in that manner. I've tried using the styling brush a few times, but it's taking me longer to learn how to use it for my hair. I think maybe it's because of the length and texture of my hair. I really do like the tool though. It seems when used properly it can give you a lot more volume and tame even further any frizziness you have. When using any styling tool you can switch between 3 heat settings and 3 airflow settings. It also adjusts to a setting recommendation when you change the tool, or you can adjust the settings to your preference. I think the biggest "con" to this product is the high-pitch whistling noise it makes when it's being used. It startled me the first time I used it. It's def. not a normal hairdryer noise. I'm used to it now, but I still don't love the noise.

In the box: Hair Dryer, 2-in-1 Concentrator attachment, Styling Brush attachment, Cleaning tool, User Manual, and Warranty information. Measuring the cord from where it comes out of the hair dryer to the tip of the plug is 99 inches or 8.25 feet. The features are so many and so well thought out! You have 3 airflow strengths, 3 heat settings, and a Cool Shot button to choose from. As if that wasn’t enough, the concentrator has 2 choices for airflow precision and it rotates! The Styling Brush also rotates and it has bristles meant for smoothing as well as bristles meant for detangling. I tested the dryer using regular shampoo, no conditioner, and no other hair products since I wanted to really put it to the test. (Normally, I would use a heat protectant and a volumizing product.) I started out with freshly washed, towel-dried hair using the Pre-Styling Mode of the Concentrator attachment to get my hair mostly dry. At this point, you could use a round brush to style your hair while you pushed the concentrator’s tip out for “Precision Mode” airflow. It rotates so you can get the exact angle you need. Then you can press a “Cool Shot” button and hold it in to cool off and lock in your curl or wave. I didn’t use this feature on my hair, but I pressed the “Cool Shot” button and it works just as described. The heat stops and you get room-temperature airflow. My next step was to switch to the Styling Brush. When I attached the Styling Brush, the temperature stayed on high and the airflow automatically turned down to medium, but you can tweak these settings if you want to. In order to get more volume for my thin, fine hair, I started with the brush under each section near the scalp and brushed straight up and out. I kept the brush horizontal for the front sections and vertical for the back, top, and sides. The rotation you choose is locked in place and you have to press in a button on the side to rotate it, so it doesn’t accidentally move while in use. My hair style was completed in less than half of my usual time, but that wasn’t the main thing that sold me on this. My hair was very smooth, shiny, and exactly in place how I wanted it with the ends slightly curled under. I’ve never had my hair turn out so smooth without a flat iron. It must be the combination of bristles they use. I was very impressed. Normally, after drying my hair most of the way, I used to take out my hot air brush that has a round bristle brush on it, to try and achieve this look, but it rarely turned out how I wanted it (I could get the style, but it usually looked frizzy and fly-away), and it took so long!! Half of the time, I would end up using my flat iron to try to smooth the style. Sometimes, I would get a bend or crease where I didn’t want one and had to flat iron that out and redo that section. With this product, I have had the exact results I’ve wanted every time I have used it. There was no “learning curve”. I also have a high forehead so I like to have bangs, which I keep swept a little to one side. No matter how hard I’ve tried, these bangs either end up going into my eyes, splitting on one side, or I have to use hairspray to keep them in place. Every time I have used this Styling Brush, my bangs have ended up where they belong and stayed in place all day. I don’t even know how I achieved that, but I they have stayed in place without any hair spray. There are two other attachments that you can buy if you want them. One is a curly hair diffuser that has prongs that can be extended or retracted depending on your hair length. The other is a wave maker for making beachy waves on longer hair. I don’t need either of these because my hair is not curly and not quite long enough for beachy waves. After using, I cleaned it by using the hook end of the cleaning tool and ran it between the bristles to clean the Styling Brush. The other end of the cleaning tool is a brush to use to clean out dirt and dust particles between the bristles. Weight: The dryer is heavier than I’m used to, but since I didn’t have to hold it as long, it was actually less of a “workout” than usual. I would definitely recommend this product. I have never had my hair look this good. I’ve used it several times now, with the same excellent results every time.

The Shark HyperAir styling brush works miracles. I currently have short hair up to my shoulder and within seconds I can style my hair and it leaves it super soft and shiny. This brush comes with 2 attachments , the brush and the concentrator. The Concentrator has 2 functions that help you Dry and shape your hair. The brush for example is a bit bulky for my taste and hard to maneuver. I do like the fact that it can be move around horizontally and vertically. As soon as you turn this on it gets hot quickly and the air flow is absolutely incredible. This brush honestly does an amazing job and doesn't leave your hair with a bad odor from the heat unlike other styling brushes.

Fantastic! Fast, easy to use and it weighs nothing. The best of this hair dryer, in my opinion, is that it dries every inch of your head giving you a boost of silkiness to your hair. Moreover, I have an untamed swirl on the back of my head and I gave up on controlling it but I realized after using this hair dryer that the main problem was that it wasn't well dried. Now the swirl is flat and doesn't separate the hair anymore. I love it!!!

I wanted this specifically for my daughter’s hair. I wanted something that wouldn’t dry out her curls and give it the volume without having to add a bunch more of products to her hair. This styler works good, I was able to dry and style my daughter’s hair in about 25 min. For reference she has really long curly hair, normally with a standard hand dryer it can take about 35-45 min depending on how defined I try to get her curls. Its not a very loud styler either. Very pleased with the results.

I have very fine curly hair, but I like to have it straightened… that’s just my preference… So when I saw that Shark Hyper Air claimed “no heat damage” of course it got my attention. The blow dryer is very compact and lightweight. 3 iq temperature and 3 air flow settings that can be adjusted to your preference. It came with two attachments, a 2-in-1 concentrator and a styling brush, which is my favorite!!! My hair was dry as well as styled very fast, frizz free! Totally recommend!

The Shark HyperAir is a great lightweight blow dryer! It is packaged nicely and comes with 2 attachments, a concentrator and a styling brush. There are 3 different air flow settings and 3 heat settings you can change. It also has a very thick, long, strong cord. I have wavy/curly hair that I straighten most of the time and have used the enclosed concentrator with my brushes and the Styling Brush. Both attachments worked well but I like the Styling Brush to straighten my hair as it helped with the frizz. I usually have to use a flat iron on the ends to tame the frizz. The attachments have preset setting for heat and air flow but they can be changed. I found the heat setting was too high for me and lowered it one and it worked well. I have used the cool shot button to lock in the ends to curve them under. It would have been great if the diffuser attachment would have been included in the box for the price of the dryer. I had to figure out the best way to maneuver the drier to work with the attached styling brush - it was a little awkward at 1st but I got it!!

I absolutely love this hairdryer!! It is powerful and dries my hair in 5 minutes (my hair is about midway down my back for reference). It is loud, but I don’t feel like it’s louder than any other blow dryer, just a higher pitch.

I rarely write reviews, but I've been using my new Shark hairdryer for a few weeks now and I love it! The brush attachment makes volumizing at the crown a breeze, and overall the dryer is so fast and effective without making me feel like I'm frying my hair. Pricy, but worth it!
