I'm pleased it will operate on our carpet as our Dyson is almost next to impossible for me to run. It tends to get into places that we need to rescue as cannot get out on its own. No problems changing surfaces - from carpet to wood floor or over throw rugs. Being the first one of these to own and nothing to compare with, but i'm happy with the overall performance. Good value for the dollar spent.

We have mostly hardwood floors and works great for picking up dog hair . Have to watch any small throw rugs it does get stuck sometimes!

First robot vacuum so can’t compare, but happy with time it runs, amount it picks up, storage bin, ease of set up. The cons is this one doesn’t learn layout, it’s a drunker sailor style. It does well in bedrooms with limited space but our living dining kitchen area is pretty big and we have to direct it to areas. Also, have to move rugs, lift curtains, etc. this is probably normal but can’t compare.

From wifi issues to this thing trying to crawl up my standing fan base to ignoring when it needs to go back to charger. It's been nothing but a struggle, if I didn't work two jobs and if it didn't help out as much as it does when it wants to work I'd sell it.

Cleans up all the mess no hassle. Dog hairs and all, definitely recommend.

My vacuum does a great job. I put him in every room, close the door and voila! Empty and on to the next. The battery life allows me to clean 4 carpeted bedrooms ( approx. 3 hrs)before It runs away to recharge. It will run for hours on the tile, wood and marble. It picks up all the trash, dust, jewelry, coins and anything on the floor. This is my second one. Had to have two. Bought one for my mom, she'll get another for upstairs. My only complaint it that it doesn't do stairs. Lol

Great on cat hair! Works far better than I expected in fact. Cleans around the furniture well. Handy trick is to sweep the dust from under the things it won't fit under or out the tight corners into spots more easily reached by the device. Very quiet. The cats are leery of it but not afraid. Well worth the money. We've named him "Joe."

I have this vacuum run every single day because it can vacuum while I’m at work and not be something I have to worry about. It had gotten stuck in a tight squeeze a couple of times, but does a good job at getting the whole area clean. I keep a clean house but this vacuum still manages to fill its container with dust and debris every three or so days. Impressive clean and worth the cost.

I've been using this until for almost a year now. It has its quirks but performs much better than an older Roomba it replaced. Compared to the Roomba, this unit is quieter, follows a more reasonable path and picks up more direct and dog hair off the carpet. It also doesn't get stuck as frequently as the Roomba. It still has its shortcomings and is not perfect but does help keep areas clean with minimal effort.

Only had it a week. Use it 2xs a day, runs for 1 hour and returns to dock. Using it on wood floors and low pile throw rugs with no problem. We have a dog that sheds and this is great for picking up pet hair and dust. After the first time using it I went over the floor with a swiffer and the pad was clean so I know it works. I read it’s not great for high pile rugs, but that’s ok with me. Easy to install, and connect to the Shark app and Alexa. Hope it lasts.

I read lots of reviews and comparisons before buying. Easy to set up. Works great on carpet and hard floors.

Great gadget, could be better. The path it takes doesn't really make sense. It also has a loud squeak to it like it needs WD40 but can't tell where the squeak originates. But cleans well enough.

I received the Shark-ION 750; opened it and followed all the instructions, charged it up and much to my surprise the unit would not work at all. I called the manufacturer for assistance, we went through some troubleshooting and found out that my brand new unit out of the box had a defect from the factory. I took it back to the store, not to get a refund but to exchange it for another Shark 750. What was I thinking ? I took it home and charged it up, pushed “Clean” and it actually is working great. It cleans really well, all over, under the beds, along the walls, in the corners, under the table. It picks up a tremendous amount of dust, dog hair, and all the dust bunnies. I am pleased up to this point. I hope it keeps on keeping on. I am giving this a thumbs up.

Love my new robot. Cleans what I wouldn’t normally sweep up. So easy. Just press the button and let it do the rest. Can get quiet noisy at times. Wish it was a bit more advanced as far as it making sure it gets into all the edges and corners. But other than that it’s a great product.

I was shocked to see how well my shark robot cleaned the floors and my carpet. Use your phone to start it and let it do it’s thing.

Great vacuum the only thing I don’t like about it is that it dosent have mapping other then that I was pleased with my purchase

Had a roomba in the past and wanted to try this product. I am very pleased with it. Battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. Compartment for collection is smaller than roomba but is still large enough for the space, i just have to empty it more often.

I read the wonderful ratings and had been considering a robot vacuum. The Shark I thought was the answer. Ok I bought it and set it up, easy to do. Started to clean and OMG. It got stuck under dinner table, table and chair legs confused it. It got stuck in both bathrooms, the area between the toilet and tub just confused it. It got stuck under the couch, in ran into the wall under that couch and just spun around in a circle. It got stuck under the TV stand, again it got stuck between the wall and the stand legs. All of this getting stuck was within the first 45 minutes of telling the Shark to clean. The instructions say to raise the level of the furniture to increase the clearance, clearances was never an issue, the Shark just kept getting confused and getting itself stuck. Luckily Best Buy accepts returns.
