I've bought lots of vacuums over the years and have NEVER had one that has picked up both cat and dog hair as well and as deep into the carpets as this one. I did a lot of research first and when I read that it was used at the Weatminster Dog Show and outdid the Dyson models I figured I had to give it a try and I'm so glad I did.

Great features for carpets, stairways and even cars. This vacuum has a lot of suction especially when the carpet brushes are turning. I use it on a wool oriental style carpet to remove the loose fibers. The vacuum's container fills up quickly.

Assembles out of the box easily and breaks down easily for work on stairs, etc. Like the swivel head and head light. Filters are easy to clean, canister is easy to empty. It came down to a choice between a Dyson and this unit. Definitely a fantastic unit for the money.

I've done so much research before purchasing a vacuum and this is the best one for us, for its function and price. It's so simple to use yet I can clean our carpets, our wooden floors, mattresses and sofa. Great deal from best buy too since bought it on sale.

This is a great vacuum for the person who's on a budget. The only draw back is that this thing needs to be cleaned. The seals between each compartment will get build up on them causing the vacuum not to work properly. I wipe the seals down with a damp cloth after each use but i'm sure it could go a few rounds before cleaning i'm just a little crazy about keeping my things working properly.

I saw this product advertised on tv and decided that it was worth checking out. I've always liked the Dyson, but did not buy. Too expensive. This product has a very reasonable price and I liked it from the first time I saw it. After putting it through the test, I can honestly say that this is the best buy for the money.

I am satisfied with my purchase of this Vacumn. It's lightweight yet does a good job.

This vacuum cleaner made me realize how inadequate my previous cleaners were! I was amazed at all the gunk this vacuum picked up that I couldn't see. Poor filters! The things they suffered (smile)... This vacuum is awesome, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is even remotely considering it! I love it.

Awesome vacuum! Has the suction power of a black hole :) The carry canister is not as easy to use however. Also, since it is bag-less, I suggest you wear a mask when emptying the canister. But as for sucking up all the dirt and dust without passing on any allergens into the air, it does an amazing job.

I really enjoy the Shark Lift-Away Vacuum cleaner. It has great sucking power and picks most tiny particles off of my bare floor or carpet. The attachments take some time to get used to, and it fills up pretty quickly, but other than that it is a great product and I suggest you buy one in place of a Dyson.

I've had this vacuum cleaner for a month and I've used it almost everyday. This is the best vacuum cleaner I've owned. I am planning to buy another one for the shop. The suction on this vacuum is amazing and you can see the clean. I still have my old vacuum cleaner and I can see the difference.

I came to a conclusion after going back and forth on which one I wanted to buy and in the end I picked this one because it gives me everything that a great vacuum needs and at a great price and that is what I love the most.

Love the vacuum! After reading so many positive reviews, I bought this vacuum and it holds up to it's standards strong!!! The suction is like no other, the swivel is perfect to enable quick maneuvering & the filter is very easy to clean. My only wish is that it should come with a push button cord retraction. Would def recommend to friends & family. =)))

Excellent suction. I own 2 boxer dogs, which shed all the time. This shark vacuum picks up more hair than my last vacuum. I vacuumed my house BEFORE I purchased the SHARK, and once I got home with my SHARK..WOW!!! my SHARK picked up a lot more dirt/hair than my old vacuum cleaner.

Overall an excellent vacuum cleaner..very powerful and no bags to change which I like. With the turbo feature this vac practically runs itself!. My only complaint is its made of plastic but everything you buy today usually is .An excellent value..highly recommend this machine.
