This unit is more reasonably priced than many of their other vacuums. The sweeper head is smaller than some, so it takes a few more passes for a large area, but I don't find this to be a significant disadvantage. It seems to pick up well on carpet and hard floors. My biggest complaint is that the tubing is too short to allow you to use the attachments (also very short) to clean cobwebs out of room corners or to clean ceiling fans.

The Shark is a great product. We've had other basic vacuums and the overall performance was not great. This vacuum has outstanding performance and flexibility with the attachments. Great buy for the price! Highly recommended.

I've had this exact vacuum for a number of years and it still works like the first time I used it. My daughter moved out and decided she wanted a Shark vacuum. So I bought her the same one I have. She loves it!

I love how the canister comes off to sweep stairs and it's lightweight. The sweeper has a swivel feature also and has great suction.

lightweight, easy to navigate, picks up everything real good, only wish that all the attachments actually attached to vacuum. Other than that, I'm really happy with the purchase.

Overall I like the vacuum but it does take a little getting used to when using the wand and attachments. The two modes of just vacuum or vacuum and beater brush make it great for picking up dirt on hard floors. That is probably the best feature. It does have good power and is easy to empty.

We love this vaccum. It is easy to use, it glides and turns easily and has a lot of suction and a lot of great features. It is a little hard to push on a shag rug though but that is the Only thing i can find wrongvwith it

I used to have a Rainbow, and Kirby. It is much easier to clean than the Rainbow, and much more lighter and cleaner than a Kirby. It definitely cost a quarter of the price.

My favorite vacuum cleaner ever. Love the swivel head and the hair from our two shedders doesn’t stand a chance.

I bought this vacuum for a gift, and my girl friend just love it and can't stop talking about it. It's so small but si powerful and more important very light so my girlfriend vacuuming the stairs without any problems.

Is a very good product, so far works good , the price is good and the wight it's good.there is some parte it's go in the side and it's does not fit very well.

Quality built vacuum. Versatile and powerful. Light weight and easy to use. I was shocked the first time we used the Shark how more effective it was at deep cleaning our carpets than our previous vacuum.

Best vacuum! I just came off of an Oreck so I was nervous as this one was 1/3 of the price. It's two vacuums in one because of the removable canister. It's light weight and the suction is awesome!

This does a good job cleaning the floors and works great on stairs. The cord is to short and have to keep plugging into next outlet ( and I am in a small house). Cleaning hair off the roller brush is not user freindly, hard to do a good job and very time consuming.

It has a lot of suction, which is adjustable! It's easy to empty the canister and clean it. It takes little effort to vacuum and goes easily under the couch. Love it! As did my 14 year old son...

I love this vacuum! it great on my tile floors. It works very well on the rugs through out the house, except on my shag rug. The attachments are great for cleaning the stairs and baseboards.

Lightweight, great suction power, easy to use. Although we purchased primarily for our stairs we like this unit so much we are using to clean our entire 3300 sq ft home and its holding up great!

Got this for my mom, much better value than the one with the rollerball. Don't know if it performs better, but this thing outshines her old one by miles.

I read reviews before making this purchase since it was the most I've ever spent on a vacuum. I have 4 pets (3 cats, 1 dog) and the problem I've always run into was having the vacuum smell like stinking pet even when I changed filters. I've had this Shark for a little over a month now and I vacuum every day and I love it! I can vacuum the room once and it's clean and before with my other vacuum it took at least 2-3 times. I was pretty sure I was making a good decision since I already own the Shark steam cleaner and it's great too. If you were to come to my house you would never know I have a pet until you see them. Great price and warranty and I'm very happy with the vacuum.

Bought it for girlfriends apartment and on first pass it made the carpets and rugs look totally fresh and new. Very essy to clean it up abd the girlfriend likes that it is white and purple!!
