We bought this for our house with lots of carpeted stairs. It works great for general vacuuming. The lift-away part comes off and on easily. The only downside was it didn't come with a vacuum attachment for the lift-away. I was able to order one for under $20 that is designed for pet hair. The cord is also kind of short, but the power is good so it's OK. Best Buy had the best price when we purchased it. I've had other Sharks and they all have good power and hold up well.

When it comes to cleaning, this is the best vacuum ever. I've owned them all at one time or another, and this one sucks up dirt from deep under the carpet. The triple filter system also really traps the dirt. First, there's a foam filter. Once around a room, and it's dirty. Second, the thin spun fabric filter. It doesn't get dirty until after doing the whole house. Finally, the HEPA filter, which filters the air before it goes into the room. It's got plenty of suction and using it as a canister vacuum works well too.

Easy to use. My kids are able to use it without too much trouble. Sucks very well and filter is easy to clean

Needed an emergency vacuum and purchased this one. The amount of dirt and dust this one picks up surpasses any other vacuum I have had before. There are two settings for the different type of flooring. When on the strongest setting the vacuum practically moves itself. Love that you can separate the canister for doing those steps and it comes wiry two attachments.

Very powerful vacuum, and easy to use. Works great on bare floors too! It's also quiet. I'm so happy with this purchase!!! You won't be disappointed!!

Have never bought a shark product before and typically buy a Dyson. This was a gift for my parents and they love it very lightweight and easy to use.

We were needing a new vacuum and decided to go with the Shark. It is very lightweight and I love all the attachments. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it did not come with a febreze air filter.

This vacuum is the best vacuum I've ever bought. Had it for a month now and it still cleans my house better then anything.

The vaccum itself works fine but there is only a holder for one attachment and the it doesn't have a light in the front. I've never had a vaccum without a light and you don't know how important it is until it's not available.

This vacuum has almost too much suction. Got it to get the dog hair out of my rugs and it sucks the rugs up. So it's like too strong. Would work in carpet better.

This is a very effective, efficient and maneuverable vacuum with very good power and suction - replaces a similar size Dyson we had for years with equal satisfaction - requires just a slim storage space so keep it nearby, encouraging use without overthinking vacuuming as a big deal. Cord unwinds and rewinds with ease. Bought it based on reviews, model comparisons and Best Buy salesperson who provided well-informed feedback re: model capabilities that have been more than proven by use. Very satisfied.

The Shark Navigator lift away bagless upright vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It does everything it claims it can.

I bought the Navigator strictly because of the Lift-Away feature, but everything about this vacuum has been impressive. It's powerful, small, and quiet. Does a great job and I love the auto height adjust.
