    This "Shark" is all you need. It has excellent suction and is light weight. No need to buy a $500 vacuum. This will do the same with out spending a lot of $$.

    I researched a lot of vacuums before purchasing the Sharp, and it certainly lives up to its name as far as ease of use and how well it picks up dog and cat hair. I've had a lot of vacuums over the years and none can compare to its quality. I've already encouraged my daughter to purchase one as she has pets also.

    Great suction but its really hard to push on area rugs. Haven't tried it on plush carpet yet. Works great on bare floor and regular carpet. Has a big canister and a decent size cord.

    I am 1000% in love with this vacuum. Hoover is in my rearview window from here on out. Vacuuming is one of my favorite things to do (weird, I know), and this gem makes it easy to get my hard floor and carpet clean, clean, clean.
