The Lift-Away deluxe incorporated the features I was looking for with out paying for options I would never use in more expensive models. As an upright I appreciate being able to use on carpet,tile and wood floors with easy transition. The suction is unbelievable. Detaching the canister for cleaning the stairs is a simple and light weight option. The bagless feature is a must have.

Powerful and lightweight vacuum. The light weight is nice for both standard rolling vacuuming and for detached cannister vacuuming.

All of us are all always saying that we cannot understand why, in this age of massive technological advancement, we can't find machines that are made well and make sense. Form, function, durability. We KNOW these are within our grasp. Yet, I believe that, when designing this newer model of Shark Navigator, the team of engineers and designers sat around a table and said, "How can we make this WORSE than it was?" And they did. 1. "Let's shorten the cord, so it can't cover the entire 750 sq. level of a house...like it used to." 2. "Let's make the hose short AND tight, so it breaks the user's back (I have a Siberian Husky, so I use the hose a lot. And I'm 5'2, so almost any length of hose should not be a problem). 3. "Let's make the head narrower than the before, so it can't cover as much ground at a time as it used it." 4. "Let's make the nozzle fatter so it can't easily fit under furniture that it used to AND let's place the (2 only - not even a brush head) attachments in such a place that the nozzle REALLY can't get under anything" -- oh my gosh, this is one so annoying. 5. "Let's make it so there's no easy way to grasp the nozzle to remove it from the base, when it was an easy one-touch process previously." It hurts my hand every time I remove it (during the multiple times per cleaning: Siberian Husky). 6. "Let's also make removal of the canister complicated and require 2 hands to do it, rather than the one-handed easy removal of the past...AND how about make it so that large clumps of Husky hair get wedged in the very ill-designed canister, so the user needs to reach into that mess and pull it out E V E R Y T I M E she empties the canister?" 7. "Then, once it's emptied and she goes to put it back on the machine, she'll love it when she sees dust all over the outside rim!" See? Better! I can give this vacuum one single half-compliment. Suction is good. So good, that a thin rug that my previous vacuum ran over effectively and with no problem, now gets sucked up and causes the brush roll to stop. So I can only vacuum in the forward direction on this rug, and pick up the vacuum and place it back on the rug to do the next swipe. Sheesh. As for Best Buy's policies...a return policy is a return policy. But because I bought this vacuum during the Christmas season and was too busy to vacuum and had my daughter do it, I did not realize until yesterday, ONE day past the return-by date, that this vacuum was a complete waste of money. Many retailers extend their Christmastime return-by dates, but not this one. I am stuck with a vacuum that shouldn't have made it to market. I suggest you continue your vacuum search elsewhere.

Product arrived on-time and packaging was very good. Directions were easy to understand and I had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. Suction is very strong no matter what attachment you use and it really gets everything out of the carpet and off the floor! Wish I was able to get one sooner and thank you for reducing the price as much as you did so it was affordable.

I love my Shark Navigator vacuum. This is my second one because my puppy chewed through the cord on my other one. I wouldn’t even consider buying another brand.

I bought this for my mother who needs a lightweight vacuum so she can move it around easy. The vacuum is great it picks up great, is lightweight, and using attachments are easy to switch back and forth. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is so lightweight that it tips over way to easy. You have to hold on to vacuum while using long hose when attached or the vacuum will tip over. Or you can use it by carrying the canister by itself. Overall great vacuum.

Pluses: It has great suction, excellent maneuverability, and the dust bin holds a lot too. Works well on carpet and hard surfaces.With the power switch flipped to carpet, it almost feels self propelled. Minuses: Wish it had better tools, and the cord is much shorter than the Shark it replaced and it seems that the cord is always in the way.

The Shark is amazing! Our old vacuum was a dyson and this just out performs it. This thing could suck grass off dirt!

The ease of use and power are impressive, but the amount of 'stuff' the first use collected was even more impressive. Going from hard floors to carpet and adjusting the strength of the suction are great attributes of this unit. Excellent price, too.

Worls great and at a great value! Lots of people say the cord is short but i think its pretty average for corded vacuums.

This vacuum replaces an old kenmore canister that was great. This vacuum is easy to use and effective for the price. It cleans the carpets well. There are a few drawbacks: the cord is not very long and does not retract. Even when you use the hose, it is not low enough to fit all the way under the bed. For the price I would get it again.

Fantastic section for rugs, you have to open the air vow a little so far, so good.

I have been using a Hoover and was astounded (and maybe a little embarrassed!) to see how much dirt, pet hair, etc was in my carpet when I started using my new Shark. I really like this vacuum. It handles well and is light weight to use. It is a little smaller than my prior cleaner and I may upgrade to the larger Shark when my daughter needs a vacuum for her college apartment.

We had this vacuum for over a year. Its been great with kids and 5 dogs. Picks up everything under the sun. My biggest issue is even when everything is cleaned and emptied the front filter will pop off, this is an issue for me. Other than this con i would recommend to all, better for carpet than tile or wood floors. It will work on all flooring types but does leave behind small dust or sand on non carpet surfaces.

I love everything about this vacuum cleaner. It does what so many other vacums ive had couldn’t do. Love love love it!

I love the power of this vacuum! It’s awesome! Easy to use

The specifications on this Shark Navigator model vacuum cleaner are virtually the same as their MUCH more expensive Rotator models (which cost as much as TWICE the price of this model). Lightweight, strong suction, intuitive controls, well placed power button, bagless. With what I saved on this model compared to very similar but more expensive Shark models, I bought Best Buy's four year "we fix it or give you a new one" warranty. BB, you need to tout your excellent warranty coverage (albeit extra cost) vs. Amazon's aggravating "package it up and mail it back" warranty coverage!

Absolutely love this vacuum! Suction is great. I have multiple cats and dogs and it works like a charm on pet hair. Easy to use and lightweight. Only complaint is the cord could be longer and should include an extension wand.
