Suction was good for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, the vacuum broke. I called best buy to see if I can return it and they said no. They said their return policy is 15 days. Then they told me to call the company and they also said they won't accept it as a return. It only worked well for 3 weeks! That's it. Make sure you don't buy this vacuum. If you do buy a vacuum, make sure you buy it from a place that has a longer, more reasonable and understanding return policy. Definitely will not be buying electronics from Best buy again.

My pet hair Dyson broke and no one would fix it. I bought this at a fraction of the price and it's even better. More lightweight and better attachments. Easy to clean and picks up all the fur!

Does everything expected a vacume to do... especially at the price point

Very simple to put together. I used to own an expensive cordless that blew up when my son surprised us when we went away and cleaned his room. We went to a middle of the road corded one this time. We have wood floors, tiles and a few throw rugs. Very easily maneuverable and to do stairs. Love the attachments. And the suction power is awesome. I guess the only thing I don't like is that there are two attachments that don't go on the vacuum until you use them. We have to find a place to put them while not in use. I'll probably never use them because of that.

Excellent vacuum - we replaced our old one with this newer model and it works great and works like it should. We've come to like Shark products as they are reliable and consistent.

This vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It is lightweight, very versatile and it cleans my carpets like no other vacuum that I have owned.

I’ve had this vacuum for a week. Nonetheless, it does a great job on floors and carpet. It also is considerably lighter than the Shark duo lift away. The vacuum equivalently.

The handle pivot control interface is improved over our prior used version. However I miss the longer cord and tube extensions. The brush handle pivots but still seems awkward to me. The new vacuum clearly has more suction power.

Bought it at a sale price and it seems to have good suction. It is bagless and seems easy to empty. It is also relatively light. My wife says that she can easily use the device, unlike our last cleaner.

After moving to Marquette, I've been reminded quite a bit that our Dyson is showing its age. Twice the house with mostly carpeting was a big refrain. I agreed figuring the stairs would have my family eager to return the shark for a cordless Dyson. I was wrong. Happily wrong. Don't get me wrong; I'm still a Dyson Guy, seeing chores done quickly and done right the first time is what counts. The Shark is quiet. The Shark is Powerful. Picking up pet hair & dander with ease. A fine addition to keep our new home looking tip top

Although the suction was good and I get very excited when I purchase a new vacuum I was very disappointed in the small canister and short power cord. I have 3 dogs and vacuum daily but I have to change the plug 3 times vacuuming my downstairs and change the canister at least twice. Which is a good thing that it is sucking up dog hair and debris, but a pain in the butt to keep stopping while I’m trying to clean. So if you’re ok with a cord that is not real long and a smaller canister then this vacuum will be great for you!

I have had many vacum cleaners through out the years, but none like my Shark.It nearly navigates by itself and is the most powerful vacum I've had. I love the ease with which I'm able to convert it into a hand held vacum to do my stairs. The extending hose attachement for getting under furniture is awesome. It is easy to clean and maintain, my only complaint is that some of the attachements are bulky and a little difficult to store on the Shark.

I’ve been using this vacuum for a while now and it really does do an excellent job! I’ve owned Dyson in the past and I’d say I’m just as happy with this Shark product but at a much more affordable price. The vacuum does have a bit of a swivel to it to make it easier to corner and that took a bit of getting used to. I really enjoy that feature now. I’ve used it on both carpet and hardwood floors. It does a great job on both! Definitely worth the money and a great alternative to some of the higher priced companies.

excellent suction; picks up all of my cat's hair who is a shedder! easy to take off handle and do my stairs as well. Cord is a bit of a pain as it does not stay of the clip.

Like it very much! It’s light, picks up good and is not very loud. I have a more expensive Shark, bit it is heavy. This one is easier to use.
