Replaced my Hoover with this Shark and I am not disappointed at all. It is lightweight and I love the option to disconnect it when cleaning stairs. The color is nice and I’m amazed at how it corners and pulls from the creases of the floor. The reason I gave it four stars is that the hose keeps coming away from the stem of the vacuum. There is plastic ball that is supposed sit in the hole but, it keeps popping out. No thought on this part of the engineering. The price was a little steep I think for a bunch of plastic but overall, I’m satisfied. It does the job!

Absolutely great vacuum! Fairly light weight, easy to clean, and easy to use! I vacuumed with my old vacuum, then went back over with the Shark—WOW! It sucked up so much dirt left from the previous vacuuming. I’m amazed! Great price point and seems to work just as well as the more expensive dysons! Highly recommend!

I had already owned a slim Shark lightweight vacuum. I have 4 cats and a home with lots of hard wood floor and some carpeting. I am also a clean freak! This machine does a great job, makes getting into all the crevices easy as pie. I get under the furniture and on it with the the power tool (yes it is fun it ture) some days with 4 cats. My home is super clean, super fast . The price was right too.

Was a little expensive compared to every other vacuum I have owned but it is definitely worth it. I do not worry about anything being thrown out of it after I turn it off, the carpet is extremely clean afterward, the attachments allow me to clean my book case with ease, and it helps keep the entire apartment clean.

This vacuum works exactly as promised picking up small particles on wood floors and not spitting back out. On low carpets, easily pulls up pet hair. It is a little harder to push and pull on higher carpet, but still gets the job done. Lifts away from main vacuum to easily do steps and to climb on ladders to reach ceiling fans.

I don’t seem to have much luck with vacuums. They either don’t have enough of a powerful suction or they don’t last long. I have to be honest though, I do vacuum everyday sometimes even twice. That said, This one has not lost its suction power. It picks up everything. It is made of a lot of plastic like everything else these days but nothing has broken off yet. I wish it had a longer stick attachment for ceilings but it’s fine. I’m hoping that it will last a longer than a year because it’s really hard shopping for vacuums. Some of them are so bulky and heavy. This one is average.

This vacuum is amazing! Easily tackles our dogs hair, along with my daughter’s and my hair (we both have long hair). Due to my allergies I bought extra filters so I can wash after each use and allow it to dry fully. I vacuum every other day unless the dog is shedding a lot. We have both carpet and tile floors. Also works great on upholstery and the dog. You can change the strength of the suction and the tool are great. I just wished there was a place to store all the tools instead of keeping separate. My teenage daughter even likes using it because it cleans her carpet a lot quicker than our old vacuum!

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. I bought it to replace a much older shark vacuum I had for 12+ years, which finally fell over and broke one day. First of all, vacuuming has always hurt my back so it’s something I sort of dread. Not with this vacuum. It swivels and moves with you which is really helpful, plus it’s very ergonomic and is super easy to pick up and carry around. The attachments are awesome and I went around the house the first day I got it vacuuming up all the cobwebs around the ceiling, mirrors, fans, etc. This vacuum also does not collect hair around the brush roll—yay! The “bare floor” feature is even better than sweeping and leaves no trace of dust or grit behind. I have not swept my wood and tile floors since I got this vacuum because I don’t have to. Finally, just to test out how much better the new vacuum is, I decided to use the new vacuum right after I had vacuumed with the old shark just to see how much I had missed. I was shocked because this new model picked up probably twice as much dirt and pet hair as the old vacuum did, even though I had supposedly just done a thorough job of vacuuming. Bottom line, this new vacuum makes house keeping a lot more effortless and effective and I would recommend it to anyone. I love it!

I had my heart set on a Dyson but my wallet was not in agreement. So I “settled” for this vac. I read reviews for this vac and the price was reasonable. I am so happy with this vacuum! Works great on tile and carpet. Great suction. Something oddly satisfying about seeing the gross stuff in the canister. Easy assembly and emptying of canister. Walked in to Best Buy, found it, paid, and walked out. Easy peasy. Better price than Amazon. No regrets in purchasing.

Sorry for the immediately seeming poor review...This is not the case here. This vacuum is following a Dyson that was 13 years old and lost it's way..RIP. This thing is a might bit more versatile than the Dyson was (stair attachments, etc.) and seems to have about the same amount of 'lift.' Although, we are not overly avid 'vacuumers' since we have a cleaning service every month, this thing does it's job and does it well for when we do use it. I would recommend it to anyone who has stairs and tight spots, as it is very easy to use and versatile in attachments.

So, my wife was fed up with the heavy vacuums, and wanted something that would last (last vacuum lasted only ~5 months before dying on us). Shark has great reviews and decided to give it a shot and we were not disappointed for the most part - my only gripe would be the shorter hose AND cord that doesn't stretch that far. You can lift up and away the container to go upstairs and it's so light. cleans out very easily and is sturdy when standing (which we both were initially worried about)

First time owning a Shark Vacuum and really live it. It has good suction and is very light weight, which makes it easy to carry. It was very easy to assemble.

We haven’t had good luck with vacuums in the past. This one is top shelf at really sucking up the dirt and hair. When I used this vacuum on one of my rugs that I had vacuumed every day with our central vac, it was unbelievable how much dirt had come up, it was incredible and would highly recommend to anyone searching for a good vacuum. Additionally, the portable stair attachment that comes off the vacuum was a big plus, no more lugging big vacuum around!!

Really did a lot of investigating on the best vacuums out there. Owned a rechargeable Shark and it was perfect for a quick clean up. The weight of this product is only 13 1/2 # and it really makes a difference in the maneuverability. The detachable canister is a nice feature that I have used more than I thought I would. Only criticisms are short cord (I just added a good heavy duty extension cord) and it does have a rather small dust cup but it's something I can easily live with. I'm not vacuuming everyday. After using a Kirby and Kenmore for years, I made a great decision.

I have always bought cheap vacuums from Walmart. Decided to spend more money and bought this. We have 3 dogs and a mix of hard and carpeted floors. This has been excellent so far, picks up dog hair and dirt really well. I love the ability to detect everything to hand carry, the furniture brush and the light weight. Only improvement would be longer cord. I highly recommend this great vacuum.

I always have had the cheaper end vacuums but with the purchase of my new house and my husky shedding his winter coat, I knew I needed something that was easy to use, light weight and durable. Sharks were always my go too for the rotator and with the added attachments I knew this was the vacuum for me. Lift away makes vacuuming stairs easy as pie. Once you go shark yon never go back. Would recommend 10/10

Better than my Dyson, by far! Super light weight, easy to clean and very strong on the carpet and hard woods...even stairs.

Great vacuum. It has good suction power, easy to use and weights only 15 pounds. Cleans better than my old Eureka.

Easy to use, works fantastic. The tools are useful, too. Doesn’t snag or pull up the carpet. Would buy it again.

This was easy to assemble. It has strong suction and the lift-away feature is very convenient to operate.
