This incredible machine works wonders! Especially for the hard to reach areas. I have high vaulted ceilings that are a pain to reach, but with the convenience of the extendable hose and lightweight 3XL capacity dustcup I was able to knock it all out with ease. The highlight of this vacuum in my opinion, is the self cleaning brushroll! Yes. You read that correctly. SELF CLEANING! Say goodbye to the tediousness of detaching the brush, standing over a waste-bin with a pair of scissors, all to remove nasty hair, whether it be long or short, pet dander, and debris it’d accrue over time! That all gets removed by simply using the vacuum. A few other attributes that shouldn’t go unnoticed are the anti allergen complete seal tech, and the HEPA filtration. Also washable! Not a single negative I can think of! Highly recommended!

I have bought $100 vacuums several times for the last few years. They don't last long with two pets. So i decided to spend $300 and it's been worth it. This vacuum is easy to use, lite, and cleans up well.

Got this vacuum to replace my old Shark, it seems like it lives up to its predecessor quite nicely. Have not had any issues of yet and dont plan too for years to come! Also have a cat, this picks up litter and hair with ease as advertised.

This vacuum has been awesome so far. We have three large dogs (German Shepard, Bernese Mountain and a Newfy) and the self cleaning brush is still free from hair. The bin is easy to empty and the vacuum is fairly light. Only minor complaint, I wish the cord was longer.

Really enjoy this vacuum. Had a Dyson for 10 years and like this one better so far. Seems lighter and works very well. Love the self cleaning brush and great suction. Glad I saved a few hundred bucks this time and gave this one a try’s

So far the Shark Navigator Self-Cleaning Brushroll Pet Upright vacuum works okay. PROS: - Good Suction (suction level on handle/wand area - Chops up what is sucks up into powder - I can carry it up and down stairs without dropping it - Cord length is okay (you'll have to unplug and plug back in at least one time for each floor...depending on the size of your area.) - Has decent tools (all but one fit on the vacuum) CONS: - The swivel feature is cumbersome - Doesn't have bristles on the side to capture stuff on the right or left of the brush. You'll need to vacuum straight into baseboards, not along the baseboards.

Wonderful suction. Not heavy to move around. Does a good job on rugs and bare floors. It falls over easily when you are using the attachment. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

The Shark Navigator is light in weight, but allows effective vacuuming. The adjustable suction enables older people to use this equipment without hurting their back, I recommend that the manufacturer consider adding an automatic rewind feature.

really sucks up the pet hair. A bit awkward with the hand held options and the cord seems slightly too short for both the handheld option and the power cord. Otherwise, pretty darn good for the money, easy to put together and easy to clean filtration.

Great vacuum. I would say the power cord is a little short and it isn't quite as powerful as vacuums I've had in the past. However i love how easy it is to take apart and clean.

I have been using this for over 2 years now. It is great at getting long dog hair off of the carpet. The roller does not get clogged with hair like other models I have used.

The Shark Pet Vacuum is a wiz at getting the dog hair off of everything. The couch and rugs are de-furred once a week or more and the tank fills very quickly. This vacuum sucks everything up quickly and easily. LOVE IT.

We bought our Shark vacuum to replace our Bissell. It was highly recommended by my daughter. It’s light weight, and works great. We have golden retrievers, this vacuum does everything it says; picks up hair, dust on our carpets and hard floors.

I purchased this product to replace a 19 yr old vacuum cleaner and I am very pleased with it. The accessories are very easy to use and the product is much lighter than the one that it replaced. I highly recommend this product.

Generally good for pet hair - we have two Shetland Sheepdogs. Hair gets stuck less in this than other vacuums we’ve had but it is noisy and not always the best at getting up dirt. Overall, solid for the price, maneuvers well around corners.

Works pretty good. Similar to my older Shark that gave up the ghost after 7 years. The brush roll works well at not getting pet fur tangled in it. I like the ability to lift the handle and rod from the unit -- makes using the tools easier.

What can I say? We have been very happy with this vacuum in the short period of time we've had it. It replaced a 23 year old (!) Hoover. Love the ability to see the debris in the clear compartment. Much quieter and more powerful than I expected. Chosen based on reviews of others who used them with household pet fur and dander. Our two cats and large dog (Great Pyrenees) produce a lot -- and you can really tell how much they produce by how quickly the canister fills up! Much lighter and easier to use than the Hoover. Only complaint (if it can be called that) is that the front of the unit swivels. This may be a boon to some, but it was something for us to get used to at first. Now, it's old hat.
