We love this vacuum. It is lightweight and has great suction

I love my Shark! This is my second one, I am amazed at how well they work, and how long their life span is! Shark customer service is amazing as well! They honor your warranty, an ship items fast! I will never use another brand of vacuum again! Dyson is overpriced so the same quality a shark can give you, if not better!!!

Very pleased. Moderate sound and cleans very well. I can attest that hair does not get entangled in the brush. Overall lightweight and easy to use. It is a little narrow, so needs more passes than my older vacuum. Emptying the bin is easy, but be prepared to wash with water the bin and sponge filter under the bin every few months at least.

We've owned Dyson vacuum cleaners for several years. The last one that we purchased just felt cheaply made and not up to snuff like the first one. So we decided to look for a new vacuum cleaner. Our primary need was pet hair cleaning - we have two large dogs, one of which is a husky-shepherd mix and she sheds constantly. While the Shark touts an anti-tangle roller, it still gets tangled just like the Dyson did. Perhaps it just takes a bit longer for it to occur. Barring the occasional need to detangle the roller, it's a good vacuum. It clears carpets well and has tons of settings. It's lighter than the Dyson so steps are easier too. My only other complaints are a slightly shorter cord than I am used to (probably about 20-25 feet overall reach), but still acceptable. Also, the vacuum tips over fairly easily if you are using the handheld wand and are not careful about reaching the extent of the wand's reach. I'm still happy with the purchase and would recommend the Shark to anyone with pets.

I needed to replace our Dyson and wanted to find something that was more affordable and the reviews indicated that this vacuum would be a good option. It is easy to maneuver and does a good job cleaning the only negative is that the cord is too short and that causes the vacuum to tip over on occasion.

This vacuum if easy to use. l like the fact that you can control the amount of suction it uses. It does some deep cleaning on carpets. The self cleaning roller seems to have some difficulty at times but it does an ok job some of the time. Other times I need to pull out long strings, etc. The debris receptacle is deceptive in size. At first glance it appears to be large capacity. However, there is a large filter located at the top inside of the receptacle that takes up a large amount of space. Hair & lint get stuck around it and will not fall out of the bottom when you are emptying the receptacle. You have to open the top to either push down or pull out the hair/lint that is stuck around that filter. One last issue is that the cord is attached at the bottom of the vacuum. I would have preferred for it to be attached at the top so that I don't have to bend over to grab the cord to keep it out of the way. I find the vacuum to be an acceptable weight. It is easy to maneuver and the hand tools are conveniently stored on the vacuum and available for use when needed.

Best vacuum if you have dogs that shed! I have never had to cut any hair tangled up from the bottom like I have with all my other vacuums. I love how I can remove the bin to wash it out once a week and the filters as well. Filters are easy to replace and inexpensive to replace.

Looked around for 2 months and choose this shark vacum. Good on hard floors and carpet. Easy to hook up and very easy tp empty. Self cleaning. Be sure to check all the shark vacums some are heavy and I found this one lighter.

I think this is the best vacuum I have ever had. And will our 3 dogs there is a lot of pet hair and this one works more effectively than any other vacuum that I have had that advertises as a pet vacuum. The suction power is amazing as well. I have no complaints.

Has worked very well, I've got cats so my rug that I have placed out over my floor tends to gather up quite a bit of hair but whenever I vacuum with this it gets that hair out super well and the carpet looks practically brand new after sucking it all out.

Bought this Shark after years 30 of owing Kenmore and Hoover vacuums. It is an amazing cleaning machine on carpet and hardwood floors. I was shocked at how much it picked up from my 1 year old (was to walk) carpet that had been vacuumed just a few days earlier. It is powerful. When using it on the hardwood floors, I was just as happy. There it didn’t blow away the smaller things like dog hair dust bunnies as I approached them with the Shark. My other vacuums emitted air from the head that chased dirt and such away from the vacuum. This is a wonderful change for me. The tools that fit “onboard” are all that I need to have handy on a regular basis. (I don’t use the upholstery tool daily.) The swivel head on the shark was initially annoying but after a couple of uses, I think it’s a great feature, allowing me to maneuver into smaller spots than I was able to with other vacuums. Honestly, the only thing that I find disappointing is the length of the electric cord, it is just too short for what I’d like.

i bought this to replace my 3 year old upright vac with a short hose. having 3 women in the house the roller brushes always got clogged and the carpeted stairs were a nightmare with the short hose. not with the shark! the hose can make it all the way up the stairs without knocking the vacuum over the roller brush stays fairly clean (its not perfect but its not like it used to be) and its easy to maneuver around all the furniture. the kids are able to carry it up the stairs to do their rooms (they still hate having to carry anything upstairs other then their phone) it was easy enough to put together. without instructions (but a more novice person should be fine using instructions) my only gripe is attachment placement could be a little better and well thought out. but its not terrible. i wouldn't even mind having a wall mounted bracket to store the tools on the wall or something so they stop falling off the vacuum. it does have a hepa filter not sure how easy they are to find in store but the other filters say they are washable.

I read a lot of reviews when I was choosing a vacuum. I have a husky so I needed a great vacuum for dog hair. I usually rake my carpet before I vacuum but wanted to see just how good the vacuum was. IT WAS AWESOME!! No more raking for me. I LOVE THIS VACUUM

Overall the vacuum is good. I use it as my basement vacuum. I prefer my Dyson over this one, however I like the attachments on this one much better. For me, I feel this one is a little tall for me and the big canister makes it more too heavy.

This is very powerful. I even have to turn down the suction. I used this after vacuuming a few days before and was amazed at all the dog hair it pulled up. It is easy to use and I love the attachments.

I am a pet owner of 2 dogs. They are hypoallergenic so they don't shed but they still are dogs. I am an avid Shark lover, this is my 5th shark I have owned and it takes cake. Amazing suction and all around great vacuum. Highly recommended
