Bestbuy it is the worst buy.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The vacuum might be of good quality, but Bestbuy is NOT. I ordered this item on November 19, 2020. Bestbuy claimed it was shipped on Nov. 20. When I called them, they could not track it! and said they would send another one. That has not arrived yet as of today December 19! Tried to cancel it ~ 10days ago to no avail. Bestbuy service quality has gone down the hill. Never again from Bestbuy is the worst buy. Purchase date of 12/16.2020 is erroneous!

Does not do what it claims.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Claims to not collect hair on the brush, but it does build up. Maybe not as much as others, but still does. Does not run smoothly over area rugs.

Overheats after 4 months of use
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the vacuum 4/1/22 & it stopped working 9/22/22. I did some deep research and this one had great reviews. 4 1/2 months for a $250 vacuum is a little absurd for it to stop working already. The motor over heats and will not suck anymore. Sad day.

Great suction, but narrow pathway
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The handle is slightly shorter than other shark vaccums. I did not think that slight diggerence would matter- it does. It will definitely get your carpet clean but is not as convenient as the model with self cleaning roller bar. The pathway is not wuite as wide either.

The navigator Pet Pro does it all
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Navigator pet pro is a very versatile vacuum, I will preface this review first by adding that I have a 16-year-old daughter with hair down to her waist and a highly energetic long hair English Setter. My Daughter combs her hair probably more than all the Kardashians put together! Just last month I spent 20 minutes with our old vacuum cleaner cutting hair out of the roller. Something that wasn’t fun at all. It got so bad that It wasn’t picking up much as the roller was clogged. Now I don’t have to worry about this problem anymore. This unit has a brush light indicator that turns green when all is well, blinking red when there is a jam and solid red when the unit is overheating. The Navigator Pet pro has a new roller system that self cleans and removes all types of hair called Zero-M. As the roller turns, it removes debris and hair, sending it to the dirt collector, which holds 3 times as much as most other vacuums. The collector has a anti allergen complete seal using a hepa filter that captures and holds 99.9% of dirt and allergens. The filters need replaced between 2.5 and 3 years. All but the heap filter can be cleaned with hot water. The Shark comes with a 12-foot extendable hose that attaches to the back of the vacuum very cleanly and doesn’t wiggle around or get in the way when vacuuming floors. I used mine to do my stairs. It was nice not having to drag the vacuum up and down the stairs. I also used the included upholstery tool to remove the daughter and dog hair. It worked as advertised. The dust and crevice tool (new to me) was attached and I did our blinds and corners of the windows. It worked great. Setup right out of the box was very simple. Everything snapped together. No tools needed. The 25-foot cord seems about standard for most models. There are 2 settings for your floors, the first is for carpet (all kinds), the second is for hardwood floors. You can dial the amount of suction you need via the suction control knob for the job at hand. One neat addition was a cord clip to help hold the cord out of the way when using the unit. It’s a small option that most miss but very helpful. I find the Shark Navigator Pet Pro fits all of my needs and would recommend to anyone.

SharkTurd
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had the vacuum less then two weeks and only used a handful of times. My wife was vacuuming when I noticed a burning odor, by the time she attempted to turn off the unit it quit and wouldn’t power back up. Additionally if you are use to using a Dyson Ball this unit is very cumbersome in comparison.

Returning Soon
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t care for it because the wheel are just plastic. I thought I overlooked wheel cover for it during putting it together but I soon found out that’s the way it’s design. It doesn’t roll smoothly nor does it have the suction the the first on has. I’ll be returning it soon.

A couple of flaws keep it from 5 stars
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am replacing my Shark Professional NV501 with this model. I have 3 cats and multiple women in my house, so there's hair everywhere, so a good vacuum is required. I do meticulous maintenance on my vacuums, so the fact that this one is supposed to self clean is awesome. Compared to the NV501, I see 2 shortcomings: -the power cord seems shorter, so I have to move to a new outlet more often -the alternate hardwood floor option is more obvious when it's on, versus a slight toggle in the power switch -Both units suffer from not staying upright when you try to use the wand anywhere near full extension. I'm not sure there's anyway to resolve that however. -My unit came with three basic attachments, but there's only room to hold 2 on the vacuum. I should note that the attachments stayed on the vacuum while vacuuming without any issue. -Though the picture on the box shows what looks like a crazy distance when the hose is used, it will be awhile before you can get anywhere near that. The new hose isn't ready to be stretched anywhere near that, though it may eventually get there given time. Other than that, this is a great vacuum. The first time I used it, I basically sucked up an entire cat-worth of hair on a combination of hardwood and carpeted floors. It took the cat hair off the couch with ease using the upholstery tool and the easy to remove handle vac. The wand comes off easily, though if you are using the power cord 'helper' you need to unhook that before it will come off (same issue on the NV501). The vacuum container looks to be at least twice as large as the NV501, and doesn't look like it will suffer from the same flaw the top filter on that unit has (it gets dust caked very quickly). The vacuum is very easy to assemble when you get it, and should be easy enough to pull apart for cleaning if needed. One big change over the NV501 is that for hardwood this unit keeps the brush engaged but at a much slower speed. This gets the floor cleaner (the NV501 would leave larger things on the floor) while also NOT kicking that stuff out the back. This is a HUGE improvement. You also should have no issues getting the vacuum head wherever you need it. Though the main body of the unit is large, you can swivel the front end in a way that you should be able to reach most places. If not, pop off the wand with ease. At Max suction, this unit shows no mercy, so expect some really clean floors!

Does a good job with about everything.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our house has a combo of hard and carpeted floors. This Shark Navigator does a good job for both. We have a similar Bissell Cleanview vac, but the Shark is better. The dust/dirt bin is really large and easy to empty. The vac itself is pretty lightweight and easy to move around. It would be nice if it had a light mounted in the front, however. We have a small Pomeranian and he sheds hair when it grows out. This vac has done a good job with pet hair, even pulling it up from the carpeted rooms. Seems to have good power. Overall, good vac in this price range that I would recommend.

Made a good thing smaller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I updated my vacuum after a few years and you can tell instantly it’s not as good. So they made the pipes and tubing smaller which leads to way more clogs. The canister is also smaller and leads to a lot of clogs before it is even full. It lasted about 4 weeks and it just died. Upgraded to the “sage” colored one.

A Great Vacuum for Pet Owners!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an owner of cat that happens to shed hair everywhere this Shark vacuum is a welcome addition to my home! The Navigator does a great job of picking up shed pet hairs and small dust particles. I found the vacuum easy to maneuver as this came somewhat of surprise as I thought it would be heavy, but it is not. The attachments come in handy as I do a monthly detailed clean of curtains and upper ceilings. If you are in need of a vacuum that is “pet” focused and really pickup shed hair which can sometimes go unnoticed to the naked eye-- I suggest you trying out this vacuum!

not good for the money
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately this didn't last very long, I had this about 6 months and it started clogging in the upright handle instead of going in the base where it should be, waste of money, now I have to invest in another vacuum and it wont be a shark.

Bad Hose Design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hose is permanently fixed to the curved handle so if it gets clogged you can’t fully straighten the hose to clear it. Seems like poor design for something meant to handle pet hair.

Does not last
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this vacuum for just over one year and it started making weird noises and now there is no suction to it. $250+ for a vacuum and its already worthless! So frustrating for the price

Worked once then never again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great the first time we used it, then every use afterwards had minimal suction and was so loud it hurt our ears. Other reviews mentioned a design flaw in the tuning and they’re 100% correct. We’ll be returning ours and giving Dyson a try

Broke after 4th use
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great looking vacuum that is easy to maneuver however the power cord is broken. This is preventing it from turning on most of the time. Prior to that issue, during the second use it failed to pick up any debris and dirt.
