Damaging my floors

The only problem I am having is the bottom has this cage set up outside the roller and it’s scratching my hardwood floors. Even though this has an option to use on a flat surface it’s really not meant for it. And my home is half hard wood half carpet

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In this product's advertising it shows a woman cleaning the high ceiling while the unit is quite a distance away. when I bought this in December it had a similar ad of a lady cleaning on top of steps while the unit was on the floor below which implies a long AND FUNCTIONAL hose. This where my current shark(green powered lift away) is lacking so I assumed they finally got the hose concept right. WRONG! This vacuum almost causes me injuries as much as my current one by almost always falling on me! The hose is crap along with the rest of it. The first time I used it it seemed to work effectively in all my dog hair. Suddenly like the second or third time it just seems to roll around in the hair! My green powered lift away doesnt have ANY bristles left on the roll underneath and it works as good if not better getting the hair! Soooooo mad. Want my money back for another green powered lift away but won't be possible of course!

Disappointed.

The filter on the bottom has too much dust colleting on it rather than being caught in the dust bin. Hardly had this vacuum 2 years before the handle ripped completely, rendering the vacuum unusable.
