A simple fix and my rating would be a 4 to 5, but Shark really messed up with how to schedule your robot in the app. Once you get the vacuum setup and your house mapped you are all set to go with creating a schedule. My other robot vacuum from a different brand has the same mapping but the scheduling is much better. The issue with this shark vacuum is you cannot schedule what rooms to be cleaned on certain days, it's all or nothing. This is a huge miss in my eyes as what is the point of creating a map of your home if you cannot dictate what rooms to clean on certain days and times. My first floor is pretty large, and I know my other robot vacuum on one charge could clean half the first floor and then the next day I had it schedule to do the other half. This shark vacuum does not allow for that and basically runs until its dead, then goes back to charge for three hours and then comes back out to finish cleaning. I had my other robot vacuum scheduled to be done cleaning by 7AM. This allowed us to not have to see or get in the way of the vacuum. I tried that with this shark and while it started early in the morning it came back out in the late morning to finish cleaning and got in the way. Aside from that huge issue, I also noticed that this vacuum got stock on random items. One was the leg of a chair; the vacuum was almost fully off the ground. Not sure why or how the programming didn't stop before it reached that high and decided to keep getting more stuck until human interaction was required. The second time was it basically ran over a surge protector and got stuck on top of it. My other robot vacuum doesn't have obstacle avoidance and has never had these types of issues. Cleaning, it does a pretty good job and self-empty base can hold a decent amount of dirt. My other vacuum did not have the self-emptying base and required me to empty it every other day, so it was nice that it can just do its own thing. Overall, I would skip this vacuum until Shark fixes the scheduling issue. If you have a smaller home and this can clean it all in one charge, then this is not a bad machine. If you have a large home and will need more than one charge to clean, look at another robot vacuum that has a more robust scheduling software.

We love the shark. We have been roomba users but found a good deal, read up on the shark & decided to give it a try & we think it is much better. It is much much smoother so does not bang in to things as much. It is super convenient to program & we have it run every morning. It self empties & recharges on its own. Its really nice that it maps the place out by room so we can choose to do the whole house or pick only certain rooms. Would love to buy another one for the downstairs but will wait till the next sale!!

Very good robot vacuum with strong suction for dirt and strong AI mapping. Satisfied with its cleaning performance.So far, so good with this product after 1 month of use.

Amazing, so smart, maps area and clean super well.

I love this. I am having a hard time dragging my canister vacuum around so this is great for quick cleaning and once in a while i can do a deep clean. The robotic vacuum does a good job and surprisingly gets close and covers a lot of surface.

Love how it cleans the floor. We don’t have a dog however this is like having one. With toddlers there is always crumbs and sharky makes it easier.

This vac is easy to get going. It is able to navigate a rather substantial change in a threshold floor level of the old house I live in. It’s a good buy!

3.5 stars, round up to 4. It works as advertised and helps keep things tidy, especially with 2 dogs and their hair. My reservation is similar to others, with the app. Its both handy and tricky to use, setting up "rooms" properly. I wish it had the ability to set up "zones", ie combine / group rooms (and save the combination). It has a "merge" but I dont think thats what I'm looking for. I still want to keep the rooms separate. The battery doesnt last for a complete "tour" around my 1st floor, so I need to stage a full tour. When it "evacuates and resumes" I'm not sure it remembers which set of rooms I set it up to do in that task. The app shows all rooms as highlighted upon resume. 1 time it resumed and seemed to go back to do the whole house, and another time it seemed to go back where it left off. So it was inconsistent, but it is still new, and may be learning. I dont know for sure.

Does a great job. Our dogs shed a lot and our little robot cleans our floors with gusto!

This vacuum is much better than my roomba. I love the battery life on this thing. Highly regimens it.

I REALLY wanted to love this vacuum. I've been wanting one for a long time and finally purchased when it was on sale. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the cost and I returned it. The robot is incredibly loud in use. I work from home and can't have it running while working. It would vacuum the same spot over and over, eventually run out of battery and would then just die right where it is. You would think it would know it was low on battery and automatically return to the base to charge. It was not worth the effort to manage it, especially with the noise. And it only did an OK job cleaning. It missed visible crumbs. Thankfully Best Buy took it back without issue. Thanks, Best Buy!

Shark has been dominating cleaning robots. Durability, efficiency, performance. Great choice for every household. I have 2 sharks for 2 story homes

I bought this as a gift for my son/DIL for Christmas. With two kids (under 3 y/o) and 2 dogs I think she will really enjoy having a little help around the house.

I really like this vac. Problem is the side brush was missing. I. Called immediately they told me it would be sent out. Its been a week no brush.
