I was worried at first when the air purifier stays 100, but after 3 hours, the number changes. I guess it takes awhile for the machine to adjust or read. Also I noticed the number changes when I turned on the heat, humidifier or open the window. I have a minor asthma & severe allergies. I coughed alot at night and my throat is sometimes dry at night during sleep. The purifier helps with my coughing at night. I used this for my bedroom. I also bought a big one for my living room.
