Although I read from everyone's reviews first that it had less power, I didn't realize how much less it would be. I had a shark stick vacuum several years ago which I loved so decided to get this over the Bissell cordless after a couple months of reviewing different options. I wanted a separate vacuum to use in 2 of the rooms bc the cats aren't allowed in there and I didn't want to contaminate with the other vacuum (dyson canister) Going in, I was expecting less power but it feels like it's a lot less - almost 1/3 power. Sort of like the old cheap $50 stick vacuums that are corded. That is on the bare floor setting vs the carpet setting. The carpet setting is more powerful but still not as much as I would like so I feel you're getting about 50% power of a corded vacuum. That said, it is collecting more dust than expected in the canister so I am pleased with that. However, I have to run it over the carpet quite slowly to ensure more dust and dirt is being picked up. After using, I did start to sneeze a lot. So the air filtration is not great. I ended up having to turn on my honeywell air filter for a few hours. And all this was to only vacuum one big room by the way. And it took 3x vacuuming to most of the dust out. I do like that it is cordless so will probably keep it but the price to performance ratio is not great. I probably would have been happier and rated this 4 stars if this had been under $200 instead of being $250 and then close to $300 with tax. It is a bit heavy and the stick can't be shortened so it is a bit tall for me. So 3 stars because I like the cordless feature and it does work so it meets expectations if you're looking for a cordless vacuum bc it is cordless and it does vacuum. I've used it for 3 weeks. I wouldn't say I'm completely ecstatic over it the way I was when I bought the corded shark stick vacuum the first time. But I will keep it bc it isn't bad, I wanted a separate cordless and I have the other better vacuum as back up if needed. However if you are only going to have 1 vacuum, buy a corded one vs this one.

I really like this vacuum. It’s light, easy to store, and works nicely on both hard floor and carpet. Glad I went with this over others.

I bought this as a secondary vacuum with my new hardwood floors and have a dyson for carpet. But my wife loves this one better with the light weight and battery life better I also use it and think the value and performance is great.

Vacuum has been great, I have a smaller long haired dog and a toddler there’s nothing it can’t do, very lightweight and easy to store

Easy to use, light weight and very maneuverable. Easy to empty. Charges pretty quickly.

This portable and has great suction good for 2 rooms and a bathroom if you have apartments perfect for it . Lasts about 40-50 mins per charge , just be wise when u use it on high suction on bathroom carpets the brush tends to stop , good suction.

I was skeptical at first that I would like this cordless vacuum, but it is so very convenient to just pull out. Cleaning up pet hair on my floors from my 2 little shedding machines is quick, easy & just the right size for the job. This cordless vac gets everything my bigger Shark machine picks up, and I love that it goes under furniture & into tight spaces easily. The only con I have is that storage is not as easy as I would like, for the space that I have, but I am still working on that problem. Overall, this has been a good purchase for me & I would recommend it.

The suction on this isn’t bad, but the functionality is terrible! You can’t even stand it up without disconnecting the top portion (canister) from the base because of how this unit is made. It’s also heavy on the hands because of how the canister is positioned.

Just moved it's my first cordless vacuum it's light weight and easy to use. I can do my entire house in one charge. It's very light weight

Simple to use and way more convenient than the corded vacuum cleaner. Works well just know that it will bind up on small rugs.

It has a good design, cool colors, it's very light and has plenty of power.

Lightweight and easy to use-it’s perfect for a studio apartment. It was fairly easy to clean out a clog, just used a pen to push out all the cat hair that was stuck. The battery lasts a while for me, however my apartment is only 700 sq ft not a huge home so battery life is perfect for me. I also appreciate that you don’t have to let it stand awkwardly against a wall to store it, you can detach the main component and hang it on the front of the long nozzle and it just stands on its own.

Our old ElectraLux stick vacuum kept having charging issues with the plug. We currently have a Shark upright vacuum we really like so we decided to try the Shark Stick Vacuum. The box and packing were easy to open and the vac was easy to setup. The unit was almost fully charged before even plugging in. We are amazed at how powerful this cordless stick vacuum is! Two things we don't like, the roller head is a bit wide to get into small places (you just have to take it off which is a minor inconvenience), the only other thing we didn't like was there isn't a good way to set this up upright when not using where it doesn't fall. Other than that, overall we are happy with the purchase.

I love this vacuum! I was going to get the Dyson but I was talking to the salesman and he was telling me about this Shark model and it was on sale. I thought ok I will give it a try since I can return it within 30 days but I decided to keep it. It is so light, easy to use, easy to maneuver, holds a decent amount even though we dump it after each vacuum. Definitely recommend.

My husband loves it! He doesn’t have to plug it in so it's easier for him to grab it and start cleaning. I enjoy the fact that I don't have to vacuum all the time. Works great for dog hair.

Great vacuum for every day cleaning. Will clean carpets and rugs as well. Quieter than I thought it would be when using it in max mode. When hanging to charge it doesn't take up much room either. I wish the dust collector was a little bigger but that doesn't affect the performance of it. I believe it is better than the 2 Dyson stick vacuums I have used before at half the cost
