    Works great on all surfaces, but the hardwood attachment doesn't have enough microfiber pads (you only get one, and have to order extras online). Thats the only reason for 4 stars.

    This vacuum really does a great job. I love all the options you have, and it breaks down so easily. I purchased one for myself and then for my son who is now in college. Yes, you will need to empty the bin more often then the older vacuums and this was a concern for me. With that being said, it really is not a big deal. It's just part of the routine now. The reason for the 4 stars - It does not stand on its own, you have to lay it down.

    Read many reviews from different sites. 9 0f 10 were positive, the 1 or 2 that were negative I could usually figure out why. My six your old grandson also highly recommended the Shark rocket. This vacuum does everything I want it to do and vacuuming from hardwood floors to carpets is at the flip of a switch. Love the bigger dirt catcher and it is so easy to empty. Got great price on sale at Best Buy.
