Better than we expected. Easy to use. Lightweight. Canister compartment needs to be emptied frequently (after each room).

Bought it for the HEPA rated filter when my child developed asthma. Strong suction and fairly easy to use. Folds down to relatively compact form for storage. Debris container is easy to empty and the filters are easy to clean. Attachments are convenient and store nicely on the vacuum body. A minor issue is the flimsy way the brush head disengages from its locked position when using. Overall good quality vacuum for price.

this has been a good purchase, It is easy to use and does a nice job. The cord is plenty long and it works well on hard floors and carpet. We'd recommend.

I wanted to replace my 2 old vacuums (an upright & a light hose type vacuum) with one that will do both functions equally well. It does bare floors and carpet equally well and can be easily used as a portable for cleaning furniture & drapes. I was suspicious of bag-less vacuums, but this one really works great! My sister was visiting me and tried it and told me she is going to get one when she gets home.

Overall I'm really happy with the Shark Rocket. It's very versatile, being able to do pretty well on both hardwood floors and area rugs (we don't have any carpet, so I can't attest to its ability there). The suction is pretty strong, and all the attachments and ways to dismantle it down to a smaller size really help for vacuuming about anywhere and getting into crevices. One area I wish it was a little better is on area rugs. I feel like the traditional upright vacuum we had before did a slightly better job on rugs. Bug again, considering how versatile and handy this is, I'm very happy and would recommend it.

this is my second shark rocket vacuum to buy. The first one just didn't have the light on it and I bought it for my daughter to use in her apartment for college. This is a great light weight vacuum that does the job of a full size. I have a rainbow vacuum and this picked up stuff in the carpet after my rainbow finished. It was gross at what came out of my carpet. I wanted something lightweight that my children could use when they helped with chores around the house and this delivered!!

I've always heard the hype about Shark vacuums but I never understood why until buying this product. It does it all for my little townhouse. It can reach any corner, slide under any couch, and when I need it to I can break it down and use it in my car (if I'm within chord distance of course). It's powerful, lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean. A must have for any small home.

Due to prior injuries it was needful to get a lighter vacuum. It doesn't weigh heavily in my hands nor pulls on my shoulders. Wonderfully lightweight & easily changed to suit tasks! Step on one release from the beater bars & I can easily lift the rod to vacuum up cobwebs along 10'-12' ceilings. Transitions from a hard floor vac to carpet vac on the handle. Couple of "pops" & you're emptying the small canister ( actually holds a good bit!) My 9 yr old enjoys helping out now because he can manage it easily & can even make it a shorter vacuum. If full height, must watch out for it being top-heavy when temporarily leaning against something - the top piece is geared to come off &sit on a lower lip on the extension rod for smaller & balanced storage. I will never go to a "normal" upright again!!

This has been great so far, met all of my expectations. I have both carpet and hardwood floors and this transitions easily between them, it seems to have lots of power. I love how it transforms easily so you can get to the ceiling corners to get at cobwebs and it's fantastic for the stairs. My only quibble is that the thing that holds the attachments is flimsy and the extra brushes always fall off, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. but other then that it's fantastic. I haven't really found the small dust cup to be a big deal.

My old vac was just too big and bulky for my apartment. The Shark Rocket is the perfect size and stores easily in the closet. It's my first vacuum of this style, and coming from am upright took a little getting used to, as having the motor at top, the vac doesn't stand on its own. But it's very light and easy to manoeuvre.

I love this vaccuum. It's light weight, easy to use, doesn't take up lots of space and it makes cleaning so easy. The best part is I can vaccuum an entire flight of steps without lugging a heavy vaccuum and the cord is long enough that I don't need an extension wire .

Came to store looking at another brand, but decided to go with the Shark, mainly for the light weight -- and it's my favorite color! But more than anything, we've used it for a month and the suction is fantastic. I don't mind emptying the container often, as I can't believe I've been leaving that much dirt and pet hair in my house. Highly recommend it!

So far this vacuum is great. It has strong suction and is very light weight. Works great. Downside is that dust can is smaller than I thought but not terrible. It also is top heavy so to store it you need to hang it or detach the top - vacuum has a part to hang top on it.

Easy to set up, and oh so easy to use. You won't believe the amount of dirt it pulls out of your carpet. People complain about having to empty the chamber but that is just a tribute to all it pulls out of the carpet. And why would you want that stuff hanging around anyway. Dumping it is a 5 second ordeal. Can't go wrong with this gem for the price.

Light weight, has good power and is very easy to use on all flooring, carpet and stairs. Attachments included are just the ones you need. It does have a smaller dust collection bowl that may need more frequent emptying. Dust filter is ok but could be improved.

This lightweight vacuum is small but powerful. I have dogs and need something to get all the dog hair. This was my answer. I can use the hand vac attachment to clean the couch and even under it. Would recommend this to everyone.

This is an easy to use, lightweight vacuum with great suction. My only complaint is that it won't stand up on its own.

So much easier to use than my Dyson. So light weight I can easily carry it up the stairs. I have a pet, so I have more hair to vacuuum. The dust cup on the Deluxe Pro is twice as large as on the otherShark and it's well worth it. This is also the best handheld vacuum of any I have ever had.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member and the information is from the user. The user compares this to a Dyson. So far, it works very well, lightweight for caring up and down stairs. Has plenty of suction and nice lighting. Compared to a $600.00 Dyson, it wins hands down! Especially when the price was under $200.00. Now I will buy one.

This little machine will do the job. Great suction. Could not believe how much cat hair it removed from carpet that was vacuumed 2 days before. Remove the tube and reattach and it a turbo charged dust buster size that will vacuum your stairs and save your back. We added a $30 4 year extended warranty for a total of 9 years coverage.
