Had a bissell vaccum that went out previous and wanted to try the niche rolls of the shark. Works great on carpeted stairs verse having to lug the whole thing up and down.

I had a Dyson and this is lighter and more versatile.as far as cleaning goes I think it picks up better than my Dyson did.

Works for what I needed. Picks up dog hair and dirt. Just have to empty the bin more often than I like so more trips to the trash can. The cord is a little shorter than my old one, which means I do have to unplug and relocate more often.
