A perfect replacement for the original

A perfect replacement for the old trusty "pink/purple" shark we had for years. The improvements over the original are amazing; more suction, quieter, new features like the dual brush and the zero hair cling make this a generational leap over the original. I dont remember the cost of the original but this is worth the quality. The first lasted almost 10 years and only replaced after the canister broke and replacements cost almost $75 on amazon and ali-express. The pet features like the hair comb and the fins (main and mini on the handheld) really work. There is more 'intelligence;' like motor overheating sensor, roller free/stuck spin which can make vacumming high pile carpets annoying if you dont set the suction to low and the motor to bare floor. I had some luck if I keep moving the vacuum while on the high pile. My wife had some difficulty at first but after being more brisk was able to use it on carpet and high suction (against the manual instructions).
If you have been looking to upgrade your old shark vacuum this is the one if you have one of the original sharks!
A few considerations.
This is heavier than the original
Previously mentioned newer "intelligence" makes it hard to simply brute force cleaning high pile without...well brute force
The canister is a bit strangely built where your release it from the unit and empty it (not that big of a thing)

I purchased this vacuum April 2023. I will admit this vacuum has incredible suction power and has done a fantastic job up until today (4 months later), suction is still amazing but i started hearing a clicking sound coming from the brush roll which quickly turned into a loud scream-like squeal resulting in the front brush stopping completely almost as if a bad belt could be the culprit. Currently trying to contact the manufacturer to discuss repair/replacement options.

I have had it for less than a week and I love it! It's such an upgrade from the Bissell I had before. The suction is fantastic, it's SO easy to maneuver and, more importantly, to empty. It cleans much better than my Bissell. My main concern is dog hair and it works amazingly well despite not being a pet specific vacuum, I highly recommend this model.

This has been my favorite vacuum I have ever used. So simple to operate, very powerful suction, and quiet motor makes this the best vacuum I have used yet. Living with a cat and a dog, battling the hair is an everyday struggle but with the dual brushroll on this vac, the bare floor brush sucks all the animal hair up with ease.

You can’t go wrong with Shark. I got the Dyson v15 for Christmas but it was really too heavy so returned it. The Shark is light weight and easy to use. I have a dog and it does wonders with carpet and hardwood floor. If you want a vacuum you can trust to do the job this is the one and the price is great.

I’ve had a Shark vacuum for years. Previously owned a Dyson and hated it. This upgraded Shark now has a roller with no bristles so hair and string will no longer get tangled on the roller. Turns corners with ease. You can’t go wrong with a Shark!

After a few months using it I can tell you is way better than our previous Shark vacuum cleaner. Since the first day we used it you could feel the difference in suction. It took way more dust than our previous one. You can feel the pull and it can get tiring but it just means it is doing a good job getting rid of all the dust in the carpet. Highly recommend it.

Things I like about this vacuum are easy maneuverability, powerful suction, hardwood vs carpet floor modes, brushless making it easy to maintain and not deal with hairy mess. Things I feel could have been better are attachments that comes with the vacuum (only 1), more would have been nicer, less to no suction on the sides leaving debris when running the vacuum parallel to the wall.

Powerful and easy to use. Seems self propelled.
I will never like emptying the dirt tray. In searching for a new vacuum. It was very difficult to find any bagged vacuums, so I went with this one. It's a good value for money and easy to maneuver and clean. And it does not catch all the hair around the brush roller because there is no brush roller. It's made of a rubber like material and it does not twist all the hair around it. I really like that feature.

I purchased this as a replacement for my Shark Navigator vacuum. I loved my old vacuum and felt it still worked great but unfortunately a piece broke on it so I needed to replace it. Once I tried my new vacuum I couldn't believe it actaully works even better than my old one. It picks up sooooo much! Would highly recommend.

Shark rocks after Dyson bit the dust

Needed a new vacuum as my 13 yr old Dyson bit the dust. I was looking at the new Dysons but my my son said buy a Shark-he's a die hard Shark fan. I needed something that was going to pick up pet hair - 3 cats and 1 god who all shed like it's their job. And all the ish my 12 year old drops on the floor whilst cooking, doing art projects etc.
No lie the Shark killed it! I couldn't believe how much ick was in my rugs. The dual capability makes it easy to change from carpet to hard floors. It has tons of suck power -in the best of ways. The lights make it wicked easy to see all the dust hiding under things.
My only Cons are that the hose for tools is not very long, and the canister fills up quickly with all the hair my shed.
I would highly recommend this machine!

I’ve always been a fan of shark vacuums this one cleans just as well as the other ones, but the bad thing is that reaching in small low profile areas it won’t do the job a bit bulky on the main vacuum part easy to maneuver and easy to assemble don’t take rocket science… simple a bit pricy though

Coming from a Dyson Ball Animal 3, no longer have to clean the hair from the rollers, suction as strong as Dyson, cleans just as well without the hassel of cutting all the hair off the rollers. The light on the Shark is an added bonus.
