Great vacumm , a clean home is always a joy to have

Had to find a new vacuum for new, thick pile carpet. We were told to not use our Dyson...that the suction is too strong and would likely pull our carpet and be hard to push/pull. The Shark works well and has lots of features and attachments like our Dyson for a lot less money, but even at the setting of least suction it doesn't glide as easily as I would like. I'm sure that's more to do with the thickness of our carpet than the Shark though.

Options, Clean-up and attachments are a huge hit!!

All functions work as designed well by Shark. Glad I stuck with same brand. Vacuum all expected.

this vacuum is great on carpet not so good on hardwood. still a great vacuum for the price.

While this vacuum is not powered, it is worthwhile for people who have not bought a vacuum in the last 10 years to realize that the appliances have become so light that they roll easily without the wheels being powered. Not requiring a belt and power to the wheels can only help suction, which seems very good. Its also nice not to require bags, although the bagless system needs to be emptied more frequently

I've owned a dyson animal for over 10+ yrs. I thought I'd never switch to another brand until I decided to buy a "cheap" vaccum. I am impressed with how well it works. Very easy to use. It's a light weight unit and is easy to maneuver around tight corners. Good value over all.

This is a great vaccuum. I like the fact it has a detachable canister so I can carry the thing as I vacuum the stairs or clean areas around the house that can't be reached easily by a rolling vacuum. It have a good amount of suction and is very easy to move around the house. The detachable hose is also great for getting the curtains and couches. I have no complaints with this one. It vacuums very well and I am very happy with it. The different attachments for hard surface floors is a nice addition to get to hard to reach places and the fact I can switch the brush roller over on hard surfaces is nice as I don't have to worry about dirt and other things flying around like I did with my last vacuum. I like the fact everything is labeled and easy to use. My only con with this is the cord doesn't auto retract and I have to wind it myself. But considering how well this little thing cleans and out does my last vacuum. I'm very happy with it.

Great features especial being able to easily take off the power brush and clean it without having to remove screws and parts. Disappointed in two things 1. Tool storage on the unit is limited to two items and the standard items to carry are three so one needs to placed somewhere and retrived when you need it 2. The storage for the vacuum up material should be larger

Compared this model to all the other sharks on the market. This one won hands down. Easy to switch heads and go from hard surface floors to carpet. The best hard surface head I have ever used with its flexibility and new form to avoid clogging and hair build up.

I had purchased a Shark a couple of years ago and I liked it so much I bought this one to avoid having to drag the older one up and down stairs. This one works just as well as the older one and I think Shark's vacuums are superior.

This is a great lightweight vacuum cleaner. I have a Dyson Animal that I normally use, but its a beast using it on the stairs and smaller areas. This Shark vacuum solves that problem. Its easy to assemble and should take no more than a couple of minutes. The vacuum is pretty powerful for its size and when you turn the brush roll on, the vacuum pulls you forward. That is how much power it has. Using it on the stairs is as simple as pushing a button and the canister comes off. It is light and still pretty powerful. My only two complaints about this vacuum are (1) I wish the cord was longer and (2) It comes with three attachments but you can only connect two of them to the vac. You have no choice but to attach the pet brush, but then you have to choose between the crevice tool or the hard floor attachment. I like how lightweight it is, functional, powerful and the LED lights add a nice touch. If I had this before my Dyson, I would have saved a few hundred bucks. I'm not knocking the Dyson, but for the price, the Shark would have more than fit my needs. I gave the Shark four stars because of the short cord and the inability to store all of the attachments on it. I would definitely recommend this.
