Seriously, it's great! Since using it, we've seen a huge difference from this Shark vacuum to our previous non-Shark vacuum. It definitely "sucks" up more dirt which is obviously the goal. Highly recommend purchasing!

I purchased this vacuum because I have hard floors and it cleans up great. Seeing all the dust that has accumulated and getting rid of it is very simple and easy and the multi functions are amazing.

Great suction! Good on both hardwood and carpet. Additional pros include swivel feature, headlight, lightweight. Only negative so far is replacement filters are only available from manufacturer.

This is our first Shark vacuum and we took a chance on it because I've seen them for several years and wanted to know how they compared. This vacuum has a highly maneuverable build and a lot of features that are very popular these days, and I have to say that I've been very impressed with it's performance since the first time I used it. To begin with, the primary thing for most people purchasing new vacuums is going to be the suction. After all, that's what we all expect from a good vacuum. This machine has suction to spare. When I first put it together, I was anxious to try it out, but had just vacuumed a day or two earlier. Even so, the amount of debris I saw being pulled out of our carpets was astonishing. Our carpet is only a couple of years old and we don't have pets, but after one use, the carpeting looked cleaner and felt thicker and more plush and reminded me of what the carpet felt like when it was new. It was something I wasn't expecting but was very welcome. Using the beater bar helps to pull the machine forward making it easy to use despite it being as heavy as it is. The dust collection canister is designed well and is extremely easy to empty. The entire canister can be thoroughly cleaned when needed with minimal effort. The power switch, while not mounted up on the handle is still conveniently located and also serves as a slide switch to turn on and off the beater bar. The cord is a good length and quality and it has a clip that serves to hold it in a good spot while vacuuming. There are so many different ways to use this machine it was a bit confusing at first. Literally every piece snaps off and snaps back on with a positive audible click. You can release the top eight inches of the handle and snap on any of the on board attachments, or unsnap the entire handle for added reach. The machine is highly maneuverable on either carpets or floors and the wheels have a nice rubber banding on them that make it quiet on hard floors while protecting them at the same time. The motor is very quiet as well. Much less noise than I expected from a full size machine like this. This was a great surprise and one that was also very welcome. The beater bar is removed easily from the top by opening the housing it sits in, by simply pressing a release on each side of the head unit. A door swings up and the beater bar is just pulled straight out for easy cleaning. No flipping the entire machine over to unscrew the bottom plate to remove it. Very slick idea. I found this machine design to be very well thought out. The assembly is very easy and each part can be snapped out and clicks back into place. Hose guides work well and are placed strategically to keep hoses clear of clogs when used as an upright. LED headlights are included and work well because of their low placement. We are thoroughly happy with this machine and continue to find and invent new ways to use it thanks to it's versatility. A high quality machine that works better than expected.

I bought this vacuum & it was the best purchase I made. It cleans & easier to move around from room to room. A lot easier then my Dyson was.Very light weight & powerful.

Runs circles around our old Dirt Devil. After running it over our tile floors it picks up huge amounts of Dog hair. Fantastic job of cleaning and picking up.

This is a great mid grade level vacuum cleaner that actually does quite a bit and comes with a few options which make it versatile for just about any home. First off lets talk about some of the functions this shark comes with. One of the nice features i noticed on this set up is the ability to adjust suction level. Now there are only two adjustments which seems to be all it really needs. There is a Max and Min adjustment for suction power. The reason why i really like this feature is lets say someone spills something on your carpet and it soaks through to the baseboard, you can use the max suction to pull it up. And let me tell you this vacuum actually has decent power, it will lift some carpets up. Now lets say you have really nice carpets or an expensive area rug and you don't want to ruin or damage the material, this is where the low setting comes in to place. It will kick down or reduce the push pull feeling in turn reducing suction power to help eliminate lifting up and pulling away your carpet or area rug fibers. The vacuum comes with an option to clean hard wood floors. Simply move the switch over to hard wood flloors and the brush rollers will turn off giving you suction only making cleaning alot easier. The vacuum really shines with its lift away mode in which you can basically detach the caddy away from the roller head and extend the nozzle or neck while holding the suction bag in hand to be able to reach all those hard places. Why is this a good feature? Because you get to anything you need to. You can use this to clean the seat cushions and floors of your vehicle or get underneath the refrigerator base. You can get to areas that are really high like the top of your ceiling fan blades or crown molding. Really there is no restriction to what you can get to while in this mode. The one big set back i do have to say about this vacuum cleaner is that it really isn't that pet friendly. Although it does come with a hepa filter i don't think the vacuum can really handle long haired animals. I noticed the brushes would get tangled quite often with hair and i found myself using hardwood mode on my carpets simply to reduce the amount of hair that would tangle in the brushes. The vacuum comes with a bagless system that allows you to dump waste with the push of a button but with long haired animals i found that sometimes the hair would stick and would not dump out making me having to stick my hand in there and manually dumping the bag. Overall this is an awesome vacuum cleaner and you will not be disappointed.

I like this vacuum. It works great! Shark has really impressed me, but I didn't give 5 stars due to an attachment that can't be stored on the vacuum along with the other additional attachments. I will most likely lose it.

This has to be the best vacuum cleaner of all time. The vacuum deep cleans the carpet.. it does everything Hoover can't do.. I'm very satisfied!!

Great suction but no height adjustment on vacuum head. Must reduce suction by 50% to be able to push it on a dense carpet. Wish we knew this before we bought a Shark.

This is a very well designed and built vacuum. All the features and accessories are easy to use. It has very good power and drives nicely.

I like the garage on the Shark vacuum. To bad they only put it on a few, I also like the LED light on handle when you pull the handle out. this one doesn't have it though. I think only 1 does. Good vacuum

I have been using this and it is doing its job very well. We have two cats and cleans well.

It's a great vacuum. It's easy to use, light weight and easy to maneuver in small spaces.

I have only had the shark for 1week and I do like it. It has great suction and rotates well but, the lift-away canister, is easy to separate, but is a bit awkward/heavy to carry, for me it's a problem.

I like it a lot! It does the work and my carpet it's clean. Only thing I would add is a retractable button for the cord!!

Love it, only issue - for best results on bare floor, must use hose and attachment not the unit. Wish it had more capability to hold all attachments, canister and filters easy to access and clean.

Great value product. There are a lot of vacuums out there and this morning works as well as the rest at a better price.
