I purchased this vacuum because I heard great reviews. It was recommended to me by someone who does cleaning service for a living. I told her I was looking for a vacuum and was interested in the Dyson and she recommended this one instead so far it’s proven to be good.

I was using a Kirby and thought that was good but no... the shark picked up sooooo much dirt and hair, i was so disgusted! This is a great vacuum and i tell everyone about it.

Opened the box and followed the easiest instruction to put it together that I have ever seen. Once it was together pulled Out the instructions on how to operate the vacuum. Here again, they were the easiest instruction to follow. The buttons on he vacuum are marked as to what there purpose is. The only problem we had was determining how to dump the dust cup. It took us a few times to finally get it right, but we did. My wife likes the vacuum because it is lighter than the one it replaced. Also, we had two units before, one upright vacuum and one hand held. This replaced both of them. It has been easy to use especially getting under beds and sofas. The only thing I wish it had was the attachment for getting under refrigerators and low Clearance furniture. This attachment was available on other models, but not the one we wanted. I guess we will just have to buy one online. Over all it is the best vacuum we have purchased.

All the reviews I looked at, all the information I received from the Best Buy Associates - all said the same thing: spend over $1,000 and get a machine that won't fall apart; otherwise, most machines won't act like new for more than 5 - 7 years. When you pull this machine apart you see the reason: most of the parts are made of plastic; plastic, which expands and melts with heat. No problem: for the next 5 - 7 years I have a machine I'm happy with. It's heavy, yes, but it is also on wheels and goes where I need it to go with a twist of my wrist. For best practice give the machine a chance to cool down, empty the canister and wipe down the connections - it ought to last for most of the 7 years. The cord is long enough to reach half of my two-bedroom apartment. That's nice, too.

You can hear the dirt been pick up by the vacuum. Strong and many configurations.

This is more reasonably priced than the Dyson we had before this, seems to do just as good a job in cleaning the floors, and has a couple tricks up its sleeve with the ability to use this as a canister as well. So far we are very happy and we don't miss the Dyson.

I clean houses for a living and I LOVE this vacuum! It's so versatile and easy to use. I can quickly adjust to what function I need, when needed, with no down time. This makes my job much easier! Sometimes the customer requests we use their vacuum and I can see a huge lag in efficiency. I have yet to try another vacuum I like better and I've tried a ton. Highly recommend!

First Vacumm purchase had a bad power button, so exchanged it and new Shark works fine. Lightweight and maneuverable, best suction we have ever had.

This is an upgrade from our other Shark that stopped working. We wanted to stay with Shark as they make great products. The light is nice and bright. It detaches super easy and is very portable. The only drawback is when you use the wand to get under the furniture, it is not flexible, so you have to get down on your hands and knees. Other than that we are super happy with it.

This model works well. It rolls easy and is maneuverable around corners and furniture. It really picks up well. It gets the debris that is trapped deep inside the carpeting. It is really handy vacuuming up salt In the wintertime.

This is by far my favorite vacuum I have purchased. It easily gets under beds and that is very important to me. Additionally, the suction power is awesome!

I was shocked when I got home with the vacuum. This machine is everything and more. Suction is so powerful it feels like it can't wait to eat dirt.

Definitely provides good vacuum strength. Cannister is easily used by itself with vacuum tube. Wish cannister had larger collection volume. Also vacuum seems weighted to one side during operation. Recommend for household use even good on dog hair.

Best vacuum ever!! Last vaccum was a pet Bissel. It broke so we had to replace it. When we used our new Shark it was as if we had never vaccumed at all!! It pulled dirt that was deep in the carpet. So thankful for this new Shark vaccum.

It makes cleaning so much easier. Has a light on the handle even.

Cleans really well. Easy to empty. You never have to buy bags.
